# The best Cognism alternatives in 2026, compared on price, mobile data and contract terms

Cognism publishes no prices and, by default, renews orders for at least a year. We compared seven alternatives on published prices, mobile numbers, contract terms and how they work inside ChatGPT and Claude.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** The best Cognism alternatives in 2026 are Enrich.chat for emails and mobiles inside AI agents on monthly plans from $29, [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) for an all-in-one sales tool, [Kaspr](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing) and [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) for European phone data, and [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) for multi-source mobiles. [Cognism publishes no prices](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), and its [terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) by default renew each order for at least a year unless you give 60 days of notice.

## Key takeaways

- Cognism publishes no prices. Its Standard and Pro packages each include 5 seats, and 1 credit reveals 1 contact, per its pricing page on October 15, 2026.
- Cognism's October 2026 terms, unless an order says otherwise, renew it for the longer of the first term or one year, require 60 days of notice to stop it, and cap renewal increases at 10%.
- Apollo, Kaspr, Lusha and FullEnrich publish prices and bill monthly. Entry plans cost $49.90 to $65 a month, per seat at three of them and per 1,000 credits at FullEnrich.
- If every credit bought a mobile, an entry plan on monthly billing would give 80 mobiles at Lusha, 100 at Kaspr and FullEnrich, 312 at Apollo and 400 at Enrich.chat on Growth.
- Cognism fits teams that cold-call in Europe and want the hand-verified phone data, do-not-call screening and intent data it describes, on a longer contract.

## The verdict

For teams that want contact data inside an AI agent or app without seats or a contract, **Enrich.chat** is the simplest swap: one prompt, monthly plans from $29, unlimited seats. Stay with Cognism if you cold-call in Europe and need its hand-checked phone data and do-not-call screening.

- Best for AI agents and apps: Enrich.chat (MCP server or one prompt, plans from $29 a month)
- Best all-in-one: Apollo (Data, sequences and a dialer from $49 a seat, billed yearly)
- Best for European phone data on a budget: Kaspr (Phone credits from $49 a user a month, billed yearly)
- Best for big-company depth: ZoomInfo (Intent data and org charts, sold on an annual contract)

## Why do teams look for Cognism alternatives?

Cognism publishes no prices, bundles 5 seats into each prospecting package, and by default renews orders for at least a year unless you give notice 60 days ahead. Those facts drive most searches for an alternative. They come from [Cognism's pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) and [its general terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc).

- **No public price.** The pricing page lists a Standard and a Pro package and asks you to request a quote. Each includes 5 seats. It lists no free plan or trial, only a link to a free data sample.
- **Credits you cannot size.** One credit reveals one contact, and each seat gets an allowance. The page does not say how large the allowance is or what extra credits cost.
- **Renewal rules.** Unless the order says otherwise, the October 2026 terms renew it for the longer of its first term or one year. Either side must give written notice 60 days before the term ends to stop it. Renewal increases are capped at 10%.
- **Fees you cannot cancel.** The same terms call payment obligations non-cancellable and fees non-refundable, except when an order ends for cause. Cognism charges no switching fee, but fees due for the term stay payable.
- **Reviewer complaints.** [G2's AI summary](https://ai.g2.com/product/cognism) of reviews, dated May 2026, lists weaker North American coverage, high pricing and some wrong contact details in the Middle East and Africa as cons. It also credits reliable phone and email data in EMEA. G2 shows 4.5 out of 5 from 1,363 reviews.

**Figure 1: What one Cognism order contains.** A Cognism order has four parts. The package is Standard or Pro, with 5 seats in each and no public price. One credit reveals one contact, and each seat has an allowance whose size is not published. One search token is spent per record returned by API and MCP searches. The order renews for the longer of its first term or one year, with 60 days of notice to stop it and renewal increases capped at 10 percent. Enrich.chat plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.

Some third-party guides quote annual prices for Cognism. The ones we read give no named source, and Cognism has renamed its packages since they were written, so we do not repeat them. Ask for a written quote that lists the seats, the credit allowance, the term and the renewal rules. Our [Cognism pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/cognism-pricing/) lists what to ask.

## What is Cognism still best at?

Cognism is strongest for teams that cold-call in Europe and want phone data that a person has checked. Here is what Cognism says it offers, as listed on its own site on October 15, 2026:

- **Hand-checked mobiles.** Cognism's [FAQ](https://www.cognism.com/faq) says a research team manually verifies the contacts customers want most, and that this Diamond Verified Phone Data connects with 3x more decision-makers.
- **Do-not-call screening.** Cognism's [data page](https://www.cognism.com/our-data) says it cross-checks data against 16 do-not-call lists around the world.
- **Buying intent.** The Pro package adds Bombora intent data. Admins pick up to 12 topics from a library of more than 11,000, per the [pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing).
- **Mobile checks on demand.** Pro lets users send priority prospects for extra verification of their mobile numbers, per the [pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing).
- **CRM enrichment.** A [CRM Enrichment](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) add-on, or a standalone product, keeps records up to date. A credit is spent again only when key details change, such as a job move.

These are Cognism's claims, and we did not test them. Connect rates depend on your market and your list, so run a sample of your own before you trust any figure. For a head-to-head look at the two enterprise tools, see our [ZoomInfo vs Cognism comparison](https://enrich.chat/compare/zoominfo-vs-cognism/).

## What is Cognism Diamond Data, and who else sells verified mobiles?

Diamond Data is Cognism's name for mobile numbers that its own research team verifies by hand. Cognism's [FAQ](https://www.cognism.com/faq) sells it as Diamond Verified Phone Data, and its [pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) puts on-demand mobile verification on the Pro package. Other vendors check numbers in other ways, so compare the method before you compare the price:

- **FullEnrich** lists waterfall enrichment across 25 or more sources. Its [plan table](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) also lists landline detection, which uses no credits when the number is a landline, out-of-service removal and, in the US and Canada, a check of the number owner's name.
- **Apollo, Kaspr and Lusha** each describe their phone numbers as verified. Their pricing pages do not describe the method.
- **Enrich.chat** returns a status for each work email (verified, catch_all or unknown) and a line type for each mobile (mobile or unknown). The line type describes the number. It is not a call or a human check, so treat every contact as a strong lead, not a guarantee.

Run the same 50 contacts from your target region through each tool's free tier or trial, and count how many numbers connect. Enrich.chat's free tier gives 10 lookups a day with no signup, so a first test costs nothing. For background, see our guides to [direct dials](https://enrich.chat/blog/direct-dials/) and the [best direct dial providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-direct-dial-providers/).

## How much do Cognism alternatives cost?

Enrich.chat publishes its plans from $29 a month. Among the other alternatives, Apollo, Kaspr, Lusha and FullEnrich publish prices and bill monthly, with entry plans from $49.90 to $65: per seat at Apollo, Kaspr and Lusha, and per 1,000 credits at FullEnrich. ZoomInfo and Seamless.AI sell by quote, like Cognism. Every price below was checked on October 15, 2026.

| Tool | Entry plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | One mobile costs |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | Growth, unlimited seats | $29 a month | No annual term | 250 credits, only when found |
| [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) | Basic, per seat | $65 a month | $49 a month | 8 credits |
| [Kaspr](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing) | Starter, per user | $65 a month | $49 a month | 1 phone credit |
| [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) | Starter, 1 seat | $49.90 a month | $37.45 a month | 5 credits |
| [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) | Pro, 1,000 credits | $55 a month | $49 a month | 10 credits |
| [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) | By quote | Quote | Quote | 1 credit per export |
| [Seamless.AI](https://seamless.ai/pricing) | By quote | Annual term only | Quote | Not published |
| [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) | Standard or Pro, 5 seats | Quote | Quote | 1 credit per revealed contact |

Credits are not the same unit at every vendor, and Cognism's allowance is not public. Figure 2 turns each published entry plan into mobile numbers a month. It assumes you spend every credit on mobiles.

**Figure 2: Mobile numbers a month on each entry plan.** Bar chart of mobile numbers an entry plan on monthly billing would buy if every credit went to mobiles. Lusha Starter at $49.90 gives 80, Kaspr Starter at $65 gives 100, FullEnrich Pro at $55 gives 100, Apollo Basic at $65 gives 312, and Enrich.chat Growth at $29 a month gives 400. Cognism publishes no price or credit allowance, so it has no bar.

*Illustrative maths on list prices checked October 15, 2026. It divides each plan's monthly credits by the credits one mobile costs: Lusha 400 credits at 5, Kaspr 100 phone credits, FullEnrich 1,000 credits at 10, Apollo 2,500 credits at 8, Enrich.chat 100,000 credits at 250. Apollo, Kaspr and Lusha prices are per seat or user. It says nothing about data quality. Sources: [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [Kaspr](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing), [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

Treat these as ceilings. A bigger number does not mean more numbers connect. Kaspr's Starter plan also includes unlimited B2B email credits, and Apollo's credits also pay for email, search and AI actions. On Enrich.chat a mobile uses 250 credits, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0. A team that needs 500 contacts a month with an email and a mobile uses 130,000 credits. That fits the Scale plan at $90 a month, with unlimited seats. The [Enrich.chat pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) lists every plan.

For more on each vendor, see our guides to [Apollo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/), [Lusha pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/), [FullEnrich pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/fullenrich-pricing/), [ZoomInfo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/) and [Seamless.AI pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/seamless-ai-pricing/).

## Which Cognism alternative fits your team?

Match the tool to how your team works first, then to its size. Figure 3 maps the common cases.

**Figure 3: Which Cognism alternative fits your need.** A decision tree with five branches. If you need contact data inside an AI agent or app, pick Enrich.chat. If you want data, sequences and a dialer in one app, pick Apollo. If you want European phone numbers billed per user, pick Kaspr or Lusha. If you want mobiles found across many sources, pick FullEnrich. If you want intent data and accept an annual term, pick ZoomInfo or Cognism.

*A starting point by need, based on each vendor's published plans on October 15, 2026. Test any pick on your own contacts before you commit. Sources: [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Kaspr](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing), [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing), [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

- **You work in ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor.** Enrich.chat adds an MCP server or one pasted prompt, gives 10 free lookups a day, and has plans from $29 with unlimited seats. Try the free [LinkedIn email and phone finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/).
- **You want one app for data and outreach.** Apollo adds sequences, a dialer and intent topics to its data. Our [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/) page covers its limits.
- **You call European prospects on a budget.** Kaspr and Lusha publish per-user prices and bill monthly. Kaspr's [data page](https://www.kaspr.io/our-data) says it provides data in line with GDPR and CCPA, and that customers stay responsible for their own compliance. [Lawyer Monthly](https://www.lawyer-monthly.com/2022/06/cognisms-acquisition-of-kaspr/) reported that Cognism bought Kaspr in 2022, so the two may share an owner. Check current ownership if that matters to you. See our [Lusha alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/lusha/) page.
- **You want more sources behind each lookup.** FullEnrich runs a waterfall across many sources and sells credits on a monthly plan. Our [waterfall enrichment guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/waterfall-enrichment/) explains the idea.
- **You need intent data and accept a long contract.** ZoomInfo's [intent page](https://www.zoominfo.com/features/intent-data) describes person-level intent. [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median ZoomInfo contract at $33,500 a year. Our [ZoomInfo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/zoominfo/) page has more.
- **You want a Chrome extension and unlimited users on one quote.** Seamless.AI sells by quote, and its [terms](https://seamless.ai/policies/terms-of-use) make every subscription annual, with cancellation due 60 days before renewal. See our [Seamless.AI alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/seamless-ai/) page.

## Can you use Cognism inside ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes, if you have a Cognism account. Cognism runs a remote MCP server at mcp.cognism.com/mcp that signs you in with OAuth, and its [pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) lists MCP and API access on the Standard package. The server acts as your own Cognism user, with your subscription, credits and compliance settings.

- **Access.** Cognism's [MCP docs](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/mcp-server) list an active account, credits for reveals and a browser for sign-in as requirements. A 404 or 403 after sign-in can mean MCP access is not enabled for your account yet, so you would contact your Cognism account team.
- **Cost.** One search token is spent per record returned, and one credit per contact revealed. Cognism's [credits and search tokens page](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/credits-and-search-tokens) tells agents to ask you before they reveal contacts for more than a handful of records.
- **Training and automation limits.** The MCP docs warn that data from the server may not be used to train AI models. Cognism's [terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) also bar using its data to train third-party AI models, and bar access by bots, scripts or AI agents except through interfaces Cognism provides.

Other vendors work in similar ways. [Apollo's MCP server](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) uses OAuth and costs nothing extra, but free accounts registered with a personal email cannot run search or enrichment through it. [Lusha's server](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/mcp/lusha-model-context-protocol-mcp-server) works on any plan and connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Codex with OAuth. [ZoomInfo's server](https://www.zoominfo.com/solutions/zoominfo-mcp) signs in with your ZoomInfo credentials. [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) and [Seamless.AI](https://seamless.ai/pricing) list MCP servers too, and Seamless.AI has apps for Claude and ChatGPT. We found no MCP server on Kaspr's [pricing](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing) or [API](https://www.kaspr.io/api) pages.

Enrich.chat's remote MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp` needs no sign-in and no key. The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has one-click links and per-app steps. You can also paste one prompt, and your agent reads [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) and calls a plain HTTPS API. Each work email comes back as verified, catch_all or unknown, and each mobile has a line type. SDKs are planned. See the [data API for AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) page and our list of the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/).

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the work email and mobile for each person in this list. Mark misses as not found, flag catch_all emails as risky, and tell me the total credits used: [paste a LinkedIn URL, or a name and company website, per row]
```

For more agent workflows, see [Claude for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/claude-for-sales/).

## Does GDPR change which data vendor you pick?

GDPR duties attach to how you use a person's data, whichever vendor supplied it. If you hold details that you did not collect from the person, you must give them privacy information within a reasonable time and at the latest within one month, according to the [ICO's guidance on the UK GDPR](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/uk-gdpr-guidance-and-resources/individual-rights/the-right-to-be-informed/when-should-we-provide-privacy-information/). [Article 14 of the EU GDPR](https://gdpr-info.eu/art-14-gdpr/) sets the same limit.

Vendors handle part of this for you. Cognism's [FAQ](https://www.cognism.com/faq) says it notifies business contacts when they enter its database and monitors them against do-not-call and TPS lists. Kaspr's [data page](https://www.kaspr.io/our-data) says it works on an opt-out basis and emails the people in its database. Those are vendor statements. They do not move your own duties to the vendor.

For calls, the ICO's [B2B marketing guidance](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/business-to-business-marketing/) says not to call numbers on the TPS or CTPS registers unless the business has consented, and to screen against both. Anyone can opt out of Enrich.chat at [enrich.chat/opt-out](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/), and you stay responsible for TCPA, CAN-SPAM and GDPR rules. This is not legal advice. Our guides to [TCPA and B2B cold calling](https://enrich.chat/blog/tcpa-b2b-cold-calling/) and [cold email data](https://enrich.chat/blog/cold-email/) go further.

## When is Cognism the better choice?

Cognism is the better choice when your team sells into Europe, makes a lot of calls and can sign a longer contract. It fits these cases:

- **You cold-call European decision-makers** and want Cognism's Diamond Verified Phone Data.
- **You need do-not-call screening** built into the data you buy.
- **You sell on buying intent**, and the Bombora topics on Pro fit your market.
- **You want controls and support.** Cognism's [plan table](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) lists SSO, live chat support and an account manager.
- **You want the vendor to keep CRM records current.** Its [CRM Enrichment](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) product covers that.

Enrich.chat has no intent data, Chrome extension, sequencing or dialer, and its plans use credits, not seats. If one of Cognism's strengths is a must, keep Cognism and read our [Cognism pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/cognism-pricing/) before you renew. You can still use Enrich.chat's free tier beside it for agent workflows.

## How do you switch from Cognism without a gap?

Plan the move around your renewal date, not the day you start with a new tool. Work through these steps:

1. Find the renewal date and notice period in your order form. The [general terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) set 60 days of written notice to stop a renewal, and the same 60 days if you want to leave for another provider.
2. Send written notice before that date, as the terms describe, and keep a copy. Fees due for the term stay payable.
3. Export what you are allowed to keep. The [terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) let you keep using data stored on your systems before the term ends, at your own risk and subject to the law, but Cognism gives no service for it afterwards.
4. Test replacements on your own rows. Run 10 of your contacts a day through Enrich.chat's free tier and compare each field with what Cognism returned.
5. Map the fields. Store the email status, the mobile line type and the date you checked with each row, and treat catch_all emails as risky.
6. Point your CRM or workflow tool at the new source. The [person enrichment API](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/) lists every parameter, and n8n, Make or Zapier can call it over HTTP.
7. Honor opt-outs. Cognism's [terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) ask you to review its opt-out list at least every 30 days and delete the people on it while your agreement runs. Keep removing anyone who opts out afterwards, too.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best alternative to Cognism?

It depends on how you work. For contact data inside an AI agent or app, [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) has monthly plans from $29 with unlimited seats. For European phone data on a budget, try [Kaspr](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing) or [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/). For intent data on a large contract, ZoomInfo is the closest rival.

Cognism does not publish a price. Its [pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) lists Standard and Pro packages with 5 seats each and asks you for a quote. One credit reveals one contact, and the page does not state each seat's credit allowance. The third-party guides we read quote annual figures without a named source, so we do not repeat them. Our [Cognism pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/cognism-pricing/) lists what to ask.

### Is there a free alternative to Cognism?

Yes. Cognism's pricing page lists no free plan. Enrich.chat gives 10 free lookups a day with no signup. [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) gives 40 credits a month, [Kaspr](https://www.kaspr.io/pricing) gives 15 email and 5 phone credits a month, and [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) gives 75 credits a seat a month. [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) offers 50 trial credits without a card. Free tiers cap volume, so test with a small list.

### Can you cancel Cognism early?

Usually not. [Cognism's general terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) call payment obligations non-cancellable and fees non-refundable, except when an order ends for cause. By default, orders renew for the longer of the first term or one year, and either side can stop a renewal with written notice 60 days before the term ends. Your order form can differ from the general terms, so read it before you sign or renew. This is not legal advice.

### Does Cognism work with ChatGPT and Claude?

Yes, with an active Cognism account. Cognism runs a remote MCP server at mcp.cognism.com/mcp that signs you in with OAuth, per its [MCP docs](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/mcp-server). Searches spend search tokens, and revealing contacts spends credits. If the server returns a 404 or 403 after sign-in, MCP access may not be enabled for your account yet. [Enrich.chat's MCP server](https://enrich.chat/install/) needs no sign-in or key.

### Is Cognism better than ZoomInfo?

They lean on different strengths. Cognism's own pages stress European phone-verified data and do-not-call screening, while ZoomInfo's pages stress intent data and a broad platform. Both sell by quote and by contract, so compare written quotes for the same seats and credits. Our [ZoomInfo vs Cognism comparison](https://enrich.chat/compare/zoominfo-vs-cognism/) goes deeper.
