# B2B contact data APIs compared in 2026: lookup keys, limits, bulk and credit rules

We read nine providers' API docs and pricing pages on October 15, 2026. See what each takes in, how it limits and bills you, and which one fits an app or an AI agent.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** A B2B contact data API turns a LinkedIn URL, email or name and company into a person's work email and mobile as JSON. Of nine compared, [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) fits agents and apps on plans from $29 a month, with no key to start. [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api) and [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/rate-limits) allow 1,000 enrichment calls a minute on paid plans.

## Key takeaways

- Eight of the nine APIs need an account and a credential before the first call. Enrich.chat's free tier and MCP server need no key.
- Eight of the nine say a lookup with no match is free. Lusha's docs disagree: one page sets a 1-credit minimum per request, another says a no match is not charged.
- Seven take a bulk batch of 10 to 100 people. RocketReach and FullEnrich send bulk results by webhook, and Apollo sends mobiles later. Enrich.chat has no bulk endpoint.
- Published default rate limits run from 15 requests a minute (Crustdata contact enrich, RocketReach Essentials) to 1,000 a minute (People Data Labs and Apollo on paid plans).
- For 1,000 contacts a month with an email and a mobile, list prices run from $90 on Enrich.chat to $720 on FullEnrich. Units and data differ, so compare price only.

## The verdict

For agents and apps that need a person's work email and mobile in one plain call, with no key to start, **Enrich.chat** is the pick: credits are spent only on matches, and there is no annual contract. For bulk calls, deep search or a sales app, one of the other eight fits better.

- Best for AI agents and apps: Enrich.chat (One GET, no key to start, plans from $29)
- Best for raw records and bulk: People Data Labs (100 people per call, SQL search, from $98 a month)
- Best for data plus outreach: Apollo (Free people search, sequences in the same seat)
- Best for a waterfall: FullEnrich (25+ sources behind one credit meter, webhook results)
- Best without a sales contract: ZoomInfo GTM AI (Prepaid credits, 25 records a call, OAuth)

## The 9 contact data APIs, ranked

Ranked for developers who put contact data in AI agents and apps, weighing lookup keys, rate limits, billing for misses, how answers arrive and agent access. Prices come from each vendor's own site, checked October 15, 2026.

### Enrich.chat

Contact and company data for AI agents and apps. Add the MCP server to ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, or call a plain HTTPS API with a LinkedIn URL, a work email or a name and company website.

- Best for: Agents and apps that look up one person at a time and want no key to start
- Pricing: Plans from $29 a month for 100,000 credits: 10 credits per work email, 250 per mobile, 5 per profile
- Strength: A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits, and each response shows credits_used
- Strength: The MCP server and the free tier need no sign-in or key, so an agent can start from one prompt
- Strength: The mobile comes back in the same response as the email, each field with its own status or line type
- Strength: Unlimited seats on every plan, billed monthly with no annual contract
- Watch out for: No bulk endpoint, no SDK yet and no company-name lookup: a list is one request per row, and SDKs are planned
- Watch out for: Search returns up to 25 people per call with no paging parameter, and results carry no phone numbers

### Apollo

Sales platform whose REST API enriches people and companies, with free people search and sequences behind the same account.

- Best for: Teams already on Apollo that want enrichment and outreach in one account
- Pricing: From [$49 a seat a month](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) billed yearly; [1 credit per email and 8 more per mobile](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing) (checked Oct 15, 2026)

- Watch out for: [Plans are for internal use: reselling Apollo data outside Apollo needs a custom agreement](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/developer-faqs)

### ZoomInfo GTM AI

ZoomInfo's contact and company records through an API, MCP server and CLI, bought as prepaid credits with no contract or seat fees.

- Best for: Teams that want ZoomInfo records over OAuth, with batch endpoints, and no sales contract
- Pricing: [$0.38 a data credit at the $1,000 tier](https://gtm.ai/pricing); top-ups from $20 (checked Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: [Enrich takes up to 25 contacts a call](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/enrichinterface_enrichcontact), and a No match result is not charged
- Strength: Search and lookup cost nothing, so you spend credits only on the records you enrich
- Strength: Do-not-call flags and a contact accuracy score come with the record
- Watch out for: [Mobile phone data is an Enterprise feature](https://gtm.ai/pricing) on GTM AI
- Watch out for: OAuth client-credentials setup, and its pricing page says credits both expire after 12 months and never expire

### People Data Labs

Developer-first person and company data APIs sold by credits, with SQL or Elasticsearch search and a bulk endpoint.

- Best for: Product and data teams that build on raw person records
- Pricing: [Pro from $98 a month for 350 credits](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person); yearly billing saves 20% (checked Oct 15, 2026)

- Strength: [A default of 1,000 Person Enrichment calls a minute for paying customers](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api)
- Watch out for: work_email is a plain string with no status field, so you validate it yourself
- Watch out for: No MCP server in its docs index

### Hunter

Email finding and verification with a REST API on every plan, plus email sequences.

- Best for: Teams that need work emails and cold email sending in one tool, and no mobile numbers
- Pricing: [Starter $49 a month for 2,000 credits](https://hunter.io/pricing); 1 credit per email found (checked Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: [Email Finder charges only when it finds an email](https://help.hunter.io/integrate-hunter/hunter-api)

- Strength: [Bulk lookup of up to 100 profiles](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/bulk-person-lookup-person-lookup-api), and search pages of 100 up to a start index of 10,000
- Strength: [Documented limits by plan](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/rate-limits), with a global 10 requests a second
- Watch out for: API lookups use export credits, and yearly plans cap exports at 1,200 to 20,000 a year
- Watch out for: A lookup can come back in progress, and bulk lookup needs a webhook

### Lusha

Contact data with a browser extension, a workspace, a REST API and an MCP server on one credit balance.

- Best for: Reps and small teams that also want the extension and CRM sync
- Pricing: [Starter $49.90 a month](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), or $37.45 billed yearly (checked Oct 15, 2026)

- Strength: [Bulk calls take 100 contacts](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk/post)
- Strength: Credits stay valid for 3 months on monthly tiers
- Watch out for: [Results arrive by webhook or poll, taking 30 to 90 seconds per contact](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/implement-in-product/quality-over-speed), so an agent cannot use them mid-turn
- Watch out for: [A limit of 60 calls a minute](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/ratelimit), and a catch-all email still costs 1 credit

### Crustdata

Search, enrich and watch APIs for people and companies, sold by credit, with a contact enrich call for emails and phones.

- Watch out for: [Batch contact enrich needs enterprise or higher access](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/batch)

## What is a B2B contact data API?

A B2B contact data API turns one identifier for a person, such as a LinkedIn URL or a work email, into JSON with their job, work email and mobile number. Vendors also call it a people data API, a contact enrichment API or a lead enrichment API. Most sell three calls: enrich one person, search for people, and look up a company.

This page compares the person side of nine APIs, read from each vendor's own docs and pricing pages on October 15, 2026. Company-only APIs are in our guide to the [best company data APIs](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-company-data-apis/), and email-only tools are in the [best email finder tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-email-finder-tools/). For apps with a screen, see the [best B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/).

Enrich.chat publishes this page and is one of the nine. Several roundups on this topic come from a vendor too: [Crustdata's list](https://crustdata.com/blog/b2b-contact-data-providers) ranks Crustdata first, and [Databar's list](https://databar.ai/blog/article/best-b2b-data-apis-2026) ranks Databar first. So each fact below links to a vendor's own page, and "not stated" means its pages do not say.

## Which contact data API fits your job?

Choose by the job, then check the limits. Enrich.chat fits agents and apps that look up one person at a time with no key. People Data Labs fits record pipelines, Apollo fits teams that also send email, and ZoomInfo GTM AI fits teams that want ZoomInfo records without a contract. Figure 1 maps seven jobs to the APIs whose docs support them.

**Figure 1: Which contact data API fits the job.** A decision map from the question what do you need to do to seven jobs and the contact data API whose own pages support each. Contact data inside an agent with a LinkedIn URL and no key points to Enrich.chat, and the other APIs sign you in first. Raw person records with SQL search and bulk calls of 100 point to People Data Labs, then Crustdata. Data plus outreach in one seat points to Apollo, then Hunter and RocketReach. Buying signals through intent filters point to ZoomInfo GTM AI, where mobiles need Enterprise. A waterfall across 25 or more sources points to FullEnrich, which returns results by webhook. Live hiring and headcount signals point to Crustdata, then Coresignal. A browser extension for revealing contacts by hand points to Lusha, then RocketReach.

*Seven common jobs and the contact data API whose own pages support each. The top name in each row is the closest fit, and the second line is the next option or the main catch. Sources, read October 15, 2026: [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/), [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-search-api), [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-api-search), [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/overview), [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing), [Crustdata](https://crustdata.com/pricing), [Coresignal](https://coresignal.com/pricing/), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [RocketReach](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) and [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing).*

Many teams use two sources: a quick first pass, then a fuller record for accounts that pass a filter. See our guide to [waterfall enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/waterfall-enrichment/). The free [email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/email-finder/) and [LinkedIn email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/) run lookups in a browser.

## What can you send in, and which endpoints does each API offer?

All nine contact data APIs accept a LinkedIn profile, as a URL or a handle. They differ on whether you can send a name and company, and on how search pages through results. The table lists the person calls each vendor documents, read on October 15, 2026.

| API | Lookup keys | Person call and search call |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | LinkedIn URL, work email, or name plus company website | Person: [`GET /v1/person`](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/), plus `/v1/email` and `/v1/mobile` Search: [`GET /v1/search`](https://enrich.chat/api/people-search/), plain English plus filters, up to 25 people, no paging parameter |
| Apollo | [Name plus domain, email, hashed email, LinkedIn URL or Apollo ID](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment) | Person: `POST /people/match` Search: [`POST /mixed_people/api_search`](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-api-search), 0 credits, no emails or phones, 100 a page, up to 50,000 records |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI | [Email, name plus company, LinkedIn or social URL, person ID or phone](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/enrichinterface_enrichcontact) | Person: `POST /gtm/data/v1/contacts/enrich` Search: [Search Contacts](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/pagination-batching-and-bulk), free, page[number] and page[size], up to 100 a page |
| People Data Labs | [Profile URL, email, phone, PDL ID, or name plus company, school or place](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api) | Person: `/v5/person/enrich` Search: [`/v5/person/search`](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-search-api), SQL or Elasticsearch query, 1 to 100 a call, then a scroll_token |
| Hunter | [Domain or company with a name, or a LinkedIn handle; email for People Find](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2) | Person: `GET /v2/email-finder` and `/v2/people/find` Search: `/v2/domain-search` lists emails at one domain, up to 100 a page; Discover finds companies |
| RocketReach | [Name plus current employer, LinkedIn URL, email or ID](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/people-lookup-api) | Person: `GET /api/v2/person/lookup` Search: [`POST /api/v2/person/search`](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/people-search-api), no contact details, page_size up to 100, start index up to 10,000 |
| Lusha | [Lusha ID, LinkedIn URL, email, or name plus company](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/search-contacts) | Person: `POST /v3/contacts/search`, then `POST /v3/contacts/enrich` with IDs Search: [`POST /v3/contacts/prospecting`](https://docs.lusha.com/api-reference/prospecting/prospecting-contacts), previews only, 10 to 100 a page, pages 0 to 1,000 |
| FullEnrich | [First and last name plus company domain or name, or a LinkedIn URL](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk/post) | Person: `POST /api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk` Search: Search API, synchronous |
| Crustdata | [LinkedIn profile URLs or business emails, one type per call](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/enrich) | Person: `POST /person/contact/enrich` Search: [`POST /person/search`](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/search/introduction), filter groups, a next_cursor token, 0.03 credits a result |

A LinkedIn URL is the strongest key, and a name without a company is weak: [Apollo warns](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment) that a name alone can return a 200 with nothing enriched. Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn, and a LinkedIn URL is only a lookup key. See the [person enrichment API](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/) and [LinkedIn URL to email and mobile API](https://enrich.chat/api/linkedin-to-contact/) pages for every field.

## How do you authenticate, and what are the rate limits?

Eight of the nine contact data APIs need an account and a credential before the first call. Enrich.chat's free tier and MCP server need no key, and a key from a paid plan is optional. The table shows each credential and default rate limit, with a source for every number.

| API | How you authenticate | Default rate limit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | No key on the free tier. A key from a paid plan is optional, in an Authorization header or a key parameter | Listed in the [API reference](https://enrich.chat/docs/), with retry_after on a 429 |
| Apollo | [x-api-key header](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment), or OAuth 2.0 for partner apps | [Rate limits page](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/rate-limits): 1,000 enrichment calls a minute on paid plans; 50 a minute and 600 a day on Free, per team |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI | [OAuth 2.0 client credentials](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/client-credentials-flow) and a short-lived bearer token | [5 requests a second on Builder, 25 on Standard, 35 on Scaling](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/rate-limits), with hourly and daily caps |
| People Data Labs | [X-Api-Key header or api_key parameter](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/authentication) | [Person Enrichment](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api): 1,000 a minute for paying customers, 100 free. [Person Search](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-search-api): 10 a minute by default |
| Hunter | [api_key parameter, X-API-KEY header or Bearer header](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2) | [15 a second and 500 a minute](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2) on Email Finder and enrichment; Email Verifier 300 a minute |
| RocketReach | [Api-Key header](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/people-lookup-api) | [Person lookup 15 a minute on Essentials to 100 on Ultimate](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/rate-limits), and 10 requests a second across all APIs |
| Lusha | api_key header | [25 requests a second per account](https://docs.lusha.com/rate-limiting) in its v3 docs; an older [API guide](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/lushas-api/all-there-is-to-know-about-lushas-api) lists 40 to 300 a minute by plan |
| FullEnrich | [Bearer API key](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/authentication) | [60 calls a minute](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/ratelimit) across Enrich, Reverse Email Lookup and Search |
| Crustdata | [Bearer token plus an x-api-version header](https://docs.crustdata.com/openapi-specs/2025-11-01/introduction) | [Defaults](https://docs.crustdata.com/general/rate-limits): contact enrich 15 a minute, person search 30 a minute |

Figure 2 plots the limits that each vendor states per minute or per second. A limit counts calls, not people: FullEnrich's 60 calls a minute carry up to 100 contacts each, which its docs put at 6,000 contacts a minute.

**Figure 2: Default rate limits of seven contact data APIs.** Bar chart on a log scale of default requests a minute for seven contact data APIs, as each vendor documents them. People Data Labs allows 1,000 Person Enrichment calls a minute for paying customers and Apollo 1,000 enrichment calls a minute on paid plans. Hunter allows 500 on Email Finder, ZoomInfo GTM AI 300 on its Builder package, which is 5 a second, and FullEnrich 60 calls, each of up to 100 people. RocketReach allows 15 person lookups a minute on Essentials and 100 on Ultimate, and Crustdata 15 contact enrich calls. Lusha lists two different sets of limits and Enrich.chat lists its limits in the API reference, so neither is charted.

*Default requests a minute on a paid or entry plan, on a log scale, as each vendor states them. Limits count calls, and each FullEnrich call carries up to 100 people. Limits vary by plan, endpoint and by key, team or account, so read your response headers. Sources, checked October 15, 2026: [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api), [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/rate-limits), [Hunter](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2), [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/rate-limits), [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/ratelimit), [RocketReach](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/rate-limits), [Crustdata](https://docs.crustdata.com/general/rate-limits) and [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/rate-limiting).*

Treat every fixed number as a default. Apollo, ZoomInfo, People Data Labs, RocketReach, Lusha and Crustdata answer an overage with HTTP 429, and most return headers that show what is left. On Enrich.chat, wait the `retry_after` seconds on a 429.

## Can you enrich in bulk, and how do results arrive?

Seven of the nine contact data APIs take a batch of 10 to 100 people in one call. Enrich.chat has no bulk endpoint, so a list is one request per row, and Hunter's API lists no bulk contact call. Figure 3 shows batch size and whether the answer comes back in the reply.

**Figure 3: People per bulk call and how results arrive.** Bar chart of the number of people one bulk call takes, with how the answer arrives. Enrich.chat takes 1 person per call and answers in the reply. Apollo takes 10, with mobile numbers sent later by webhook or poll. ZoomInfo GTM AI and Crustdata take 25 and answer in the reply. People Data Labs takes 100 and answers in the reply. RocketReach takes 100 with results by webhook, Lusha takes 100 and may return a job to poll, and FullEnrich takes 100 with results by webhook. Hunter has no bulk contact call in its API.

*People per bulk call as documented, and whether the answer comes back in the reply. Crustdata also runs batch jobs of up to 300 profile URLs, which need enterprise or higher access. Hunter's API lists no bulk contact call. Sources, read October 15, 2026: [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/bulk-people-enrichment), [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/pagination-batching-and-bulk), [Crustdata](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/enrich), [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/bulk-enrichment-api), [RocketReach](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/bulk-person-lookup-person-lookup-api), [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/enrich-contacts), [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk/post) and [Hunter](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2).*

Delivery matters more than batch size for an AI agent, because an agent wants the answer inside its turn. This is how each API behaves:

- **In the reply:** People Data Labs, ZoomInfo GTM AI, Crustdata's [contact enrich](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/enrich) and Enrich.chat return the result in the response. Crustdata's [batch contact enrich](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/batch) is a job of up to 300 URLs for enterprise access.
- **Mobile later:** [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment) sends mobiles to a webhook, or you poll with a request ID, never in the first response.
- **By webhook:** [RocketReach's bulk lookup](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/bulk-person-lookup-person-lookup-api) requires a webhook. [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk/post) returns an enrichment ID and posts results when done, and its docs say [most enrichments take 30 to 90 seconds per contact](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/implement-in-product/quality-over-speed).
- **Sometimes a job:** [Lusha's Enrich Contacts](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/enrich-contacts) can return a job to poll, and polling is free. RocketReach's single lookup can return a status of progress or searching until it completes.

## How do credits work, and what does a miss cost?

A credit is not one unit across contact data APIs. It buys a whole record at People Data Labs, one field at Enrich.chat and one export at RocketReach. Eight of the nine say a lookup that finds nothing is free, and Lusha's docs disagree with themselves. The table lists entry prices, what a credit buys and miss billing.

| API | Entry price, checked October 15, 2026 | What a credit buys | A lookup with no match |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | [Plans from $29 a month for 100,000 credits](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) | 10 credits per work email, 250 per mobile, 5 per profile | 0 credits |
| Apollo | [$49 a seat a month, billed yearly](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) | [1 credit for an email, 8 more for a mobile](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing) | [0 credits](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment) when no credit-consuming data is found |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI | [$0.38 a credit at the $1,000 tier; top-ups from $20](https://gtm.ai/pricing) | [1 data credit per new record](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/credit-usage-and-limits) | [No credit charged](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/enrichinterface_enrichcontact) |
| People Data Labs | [$98 a month for 350 credits](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) | 1 credit per matched record, with every field in it | [Billed per match](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api), so a 404 costs nothing |
| Hunter | [$49 a month for 2,000 credits](https://hunter.io/pricing) | [1 credit per email found, 0.5 per verification](https://help.hunter.io/integrate-hunter/hunter-api) | Email Finder charges only if an email is found |
| RocketReach | US list prices from our [RocketReach pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/rocketreach-pricing/): $69 a month or $399 a year. [Custom plans start at $6K a year](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) | One export credit per API contact; [Universal Credits](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/universal-credits-overview) on managed plans: 2 per email, 6 per phone | [No credit when no data is found](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/faq) |
| Lusha | [$49.90 a month for 400 credits](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) | [1 credit per email, 5 per phone](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) | Its docs disagree: a [1-credit minimum](https://docs.lusha.com/introduction) or [no charge](https://docs.lusha.com/faq/billing) |
| FullEnrich | [$29 a month for 500 credits](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) | [1 per work email, 10 per mobile](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/credit) | 0 credits; a catch-all email still costs 1 |
| Crustdata | [$20 in free credits; no dollar price per credit shown](https://crustdata.com/pricing) | [1 for a business email, 2 for a phone](https://docs.crustdata.com/general/pricing) | Unmatched identifiers are not billed |

Dollars compare better than credits. Our guides cover each vendor's plans in depth: [Apollo](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/), [People Data Labs](https://enrich.chat/blog/people-data-labs-pricing/), [ZoomInfo's API](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-api-pricing/), [Hunter](https://enrich.chat/blog/hunter-io-pricing/), [RocketReach](https://enrich.chat/blog/rocketreach-pricing/), [Lusha](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/) and [FullEnrich](https://enrich.chat/blog/fullenrich-pricing/).

### What do 1,000 contacts with an email and a mobile cost a month?

At list prices, 1,000 contacts with a work email and a mobile cost $90 a month on Enrich.chat and $141.58 to $720 on five others, if every lookup finds both fields. The table shows a published plan that covers the job.

| API | Plan that covers 1,000 contacts a month | Monthly cost |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | 260,000 credits on the Scale plan, with unlimited seats | $90 |
| RocketReach | Ultimate, US list: 12,000 of its 20,000 yearly exports, per our [RocketReach pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/rocketreach-pricing/) | $141.58, billed $1,699 a year; $209 on monthly billing |
| Apollo | 9,000 credits a month, or 108,000 a year: 4 Basic seats | [$196](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), billed yearly |
| People Data Labs | 1,000 matched records at the entry rate of $0.28 a credit | [$280](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) |
| Lusha | 6,000 credits on Premium with extra credits, monthly billing, per our [Lusha pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/) | $643.65 |
| FullEnrich | 11,000 credits: the 15,000-credit tier | [$720](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) |

Hunter has no phone credit, ZoomInfo GTM AI sells mobile data only in [Enterprise packages](https://gtm.ai/pricing), and Crustdata shows no dollar price per credit, so none of the three is priced here. Apollo and RocketReach prices assume yearly billing. The units and the data differ, so this compares price only, and this page makes no claim about which API finds more of your list.

### What does each API return for an email and a mobile?

Every API returns an email and most return a mobile, and most add a status or a grade. They differ in how much they say. The table lists each vendor's fields.

| API | Email fields | Mobile and phone fields |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | work_email with a status: verified, catch_all or unknown | mobile with a line type: mobile or unknown |
| Apollo | [email and an email_status field](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment), plus match_confidence per match | Phones sent later by webhook or poll |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI | [email, and a contactAccuracyScore per contact](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/enrichinterface_enrichcontact) | phone and mobilePhone, with do-not-call flags |
| People Data Labs | [work_email as a plain string](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/fields), and a likelihood score from 1 to 10 per match | mobile_phone as a string |
| Hunter | [email with a score and a status: valid, accept_all or unknown](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2) | No phone credit in its [credit guide](https://help.hunter.io/en/articles/1911617-what-is-a-credit-and-how-is-it-counted) |
| RocketReach | [emails with smtp_valid (valid, invalid, accept-all or unknown) and a grade](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/people-lookup-api) | phones with a type and a grade of A, A- or B |
| Lusha | [emails with a type and a confidence grade such as A+](https://docs.lusha.com/api-reference/enrich/enrich-contacts) | phones with a type and a doNotCall flag |
| FullEnrich | [work emails marked deliverable, high probability or catch-all](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/credit) | mobile phones; a landline costs no credits |
| Crustdata | [emails with a status: deliverable, catch_all, invalid or unknown](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/enrich) | phone_numbers and phone_numbers_info |

A status says what a vendor knows, not that the mailbox exists. A catch-all domain accepts every address, so no status can confirm one mailbox there. Treat catch_all and unknown emails as risky, and treat every contact as a strong lead, not a guarantee. The free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/) shows which domains behave this way.

## How do the RocketReach API and the Lusha API work?

The RocketReach API and the Lusha API both sit behind a web app and spend the same credits as the app. RocketReach spends export credits, and Lusha splits a lookup from a reveal.

### How does the RocketReach API work?

A `GET /api/v2/person/lookup` call takes a name plus current employer, a LinkedIn URL, an email or an ID, with an `Api-Key` header, per [RocketReach's lookup docs](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/people-lookup-api). The reply can carry a status of complete, progress, searching or not queued, so you may need to check status or use a webhook. Emails come with smtp_valid and a grade, and phones with a grade of A, A- or B.

- **Credits:** API lookups use export credits. RocketReach's [pricing page](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) lists 1,200, 3,600 or 20,000 exports a year on its yearly plans, and [no credit is charged when no data is found](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/faq).
- **Limits:** [A global limit of 10 requests a second](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/rate-limits), and person lookups from 15 a minute on Essentials to 100 on Ultimate, or 5,000 to 50,000 a month.
- **Bulk:** [Up to 100 lookups per batch](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/bulk-person-lookup-person-lookup-api), with a webhook required.
- **Access:** its pricing page lists MCP and API access on all three plans. Our [RocketReach pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/rocketreach-pricing/) has the US prices.

### How does the Lusha API work?

Lusha's v3 API has two steps. [Search Contacts](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/search-contacts) takes up to 100 contacts by Lusha ID, LinkedIn URL, email, or name plus company, and returns a preview with no emails or phones. [Enrich Contacts](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/enrich-contacts) then takes up to 100 IDs and reveals emails, phones or both, billed per data point.

- **Credits:** [1 credit per email and 5 per phone](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted). Lusha's docs disagree on a miss: its [introduction](https://docs.lusha.com/introduction) sets a 1-credit minimum per request, and its [billing FAQ](https://docs.lusha.com/faq/billing) says a no match is not charged.
- **Limits:** [25 requests a second per account](https://docs.lusha.com/rate-limiting) in its v3 docs. An older [API guide](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/lushas-api/all-there-is-to-know-about-lushas-api) lists 40 to 300 a minute by plan, so read the headers on your account.
- **Agents:** [the MCP server](https://docs.lusha.com/mcp-docs) lists 50 tools, with OAuth in Claude, ChatGPT and Codex and an API key elsewhere.
- **Terms:** the older API guide says API data may not be used to train AI or machine learning systems, subject to Lusha's terms. Read it before you feed Lusha data to a model.

Our [Lusha pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/) covers its plans and credit costs.

## Which contact data APIs have an MCP server?

Eight of the nine contact data APIs document an MCP server, and People Data Labs lists none in its docs index. Only Enrich.chat's needs no sign-in on the free tier. The table shows each address, how you sign in and how big the server is.

| API | MCP address | Sign-in | Size |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | [enrich.chat/mcp](https://enrich.chat/install/) | None on the free tier; a key from a paid plan is optional | 8 tools, all read-only |
| Apollo | mcp.apollo.io/mcp | [OAuth 2.0, or a master API key](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) | 52 actions |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI | mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp | [Your own ZoomInfo login](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/getting-started) | [Up to 10 records per enrich call](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits) |
| People Data Labs | None listed | Not applicable | [Docs index lists SDKs in five languages](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/llms.txt) |
| Hunter | mcp.hunter.io/mcp | [API key in a header, or OAuth](https://hunter.io/mcp) | Discover, Domain Search, Email Finder, Verifier, enrichment, leads |
| RocketReach | mcp.rocketreach.co/mcp | [OAuth 2.1 with PKCE](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/mcp) | [9 tools](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/mcp-tools) |
| Lusha | mcp.lusha.com | [OAuth, or an x-api-key header](https://docs.lusha.com/mcp-docs) | 50 tools |
| FullEnrich | mcp.fullenrich.com/mcp | [Browser sign-in to FullEnrich](https://help.fullenrich.com/en/articles/14190120-mcp-server) | Search, enrich and export |
| Crustdata | install.crustdata.com/mcp | [OAuth, or a Bearer API key](https://docs.crustdata.com/for-agents/mcp) | Companies, people, jobs, social and web |

MCP is a standard that lets an AI app call a tool directly. A server with 50 tools puts more in front of the model than one with 8, so switch off the tools you do not use. Our guide to the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/) goes deeper on sign-in, cost and write access. You can also skip MCP: paste a prompt that starts with "Use www.enrich.chat" and the agent reads [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) and calls the plain API. The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has one-click steps.

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the head of sales at acme.com with a work email and a mobile. Show the email status and the mobile line type, mark anything not found, and tell me the credits_used
```

## When is another contact data API the better choice than Enrich.chat?

Another contact data API is better when you need bulk calls, deep search or a sales app. Match the gap to the vendor:

- **You enrich lists in bulk.** [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/bulk-enrichment-api), [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/enrich-contacts), [RocketReach](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/bulk-person-lookup-person-lookup-api) and [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk/post) take 100 people per call, and [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/enrichinterface_enrichcontact) takes 25. Enrich.chat takes one lookup per call. For bulk files, ask about Enterprise at sales@enrich.chat.
- **You search deeply.** [Apollo's search](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-api-search) reaches 50,000 records at 0 credits, and [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-search-api) accepts SQL and pages with a scroll token. Enrich.chat returns up to 25 people per call: see the [people search API](https://enrich.chat/api/people-search/) page.
- **You want sending and a screen.** [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [Hunter](https://help.hunter.io/en/articles/1911617-what-is-a-credit-and-how-is-it-counted) include sequences, and [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) lists a browser extension. Enrich.chat has no sequencing, dialer or extension.
- **You want a waterfall.** [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) queries 25+ sources behind one credit meter.
- **You need buying signals or live data.** [ZoomInfo's API docs](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/overview) list intent signals as a search filter, and [Crustdata](https://crustdata.com/pricing) sells real-time hiring, funding and company event signals.
- **You want data files or SDKs.** [Coresignal's Bulk Collect](https://docs.coresignal.com/api-introduction/requests/bulk-collect) returns up to 10,000 records as a file, but its [Contact Enrichment API](https://docs.coresignal.com/employee-data/api/contact-enrichment-api) takes a Coresignal employee ID and leaves out people in the EEA and UK. People Data Labs lists SDKs in five languages.
- **Your records live in HubSpot.** Clearbit's [changelog](https://clearbit.com/changelog) says new sign-ups need a HubSpot account, and [HubSpot's enrichment](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ai-tools/get-started-using-breeze-intelligence) does not use HubSpot Credits. See our [Clearbit alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/clearbit/).

For single vendors, see our [People Data Labs alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/people-data-labs/), [Apollo API guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-api/) and [ZoomInfo API guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-api-pricing/).

### What to watch out for with Enrich.chat

- There is no bulk endpoint, no SDK yet and no company-name lookup: a list is one request per row, SDKs are planned, and company calls take a website domain.
- Search returns up to 25 people per call with no paging parameter and no phone numbers, and there is no visual table builder, sequencing or Chrome extension.

### How do you test a contact data API before you sign?

Run the same 25 rows through each API you are weighing, on its free tier or trial, and check every field yourself. Vendor claims use their own samples.

1. **Pick 25 people you know,** with and without a LinkedIn URL.
2. **Send the best key you have:** the LinkedIn URL, then the email, then name and company.
3. **Check statuses and misses.** Count catch-all and unknown emails as risky, and read the usage log to see what each miss cost.
4. **Price what you can use:** divide the plan price by the contacts that came back right.

Run a first pass from your agent with this prompt:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to look up these 25 contacts. For each row use the LinkedIn URL, or the name and company website when there is no URL. Return the work email with its status and the mobile with its line type, mark every miss as not found, and tell me the total credits_used: [paste rows]
```

Our guide to the [best B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/) explains blind tests in more depth. Contact data is personal data, so you are responsible for the laws that apply to your outreach, such as TCPA for calls and texts, CAN-SPAM for email and GDPR. Anyone can opt out of Enrich.chat at [enrich.chat/opt-out/](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/), and requests are processed within 15 days. Accounts are covered by our [terms](https://enrich.chat/terms/). This is not legal advice. For plans, see the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best B2B data API for contact data?

It depends on the build. [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) suits agents and apps that look up one person at a time, with no key to start and plans from $29 a month. [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/bulk-enrichment-api) suits record pipelines with 100-person bulk calls, and [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing) suits teams that also send email. Test your top two on 25 of your own rows before you pay. See [best B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/) for full apps.

### What are the rate limits of the main B2B contact data APIs?

Defaults checked October 15, 2026: [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api) allows 1,000 Person Enrichment calls a minute for paying customers, and [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/rate-limits) allows 1,000 enrichment calls a minute on paid plans. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2) allows 500 a minute on Email Finder, [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/rate-limits) allows 5 a second on its Builder package, and [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/ratelimit) allows 60 calls a minute. Enrich.chat lists its limits in its [API reference](https://enrich.chat/docs/).

### Which contact data APIs charge nothing when a lookup finds no match?

Eight of the nine say so in their own pages. Enrich.chat uses 0 credits, and [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment), [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/enrichinterface_enrichcontact), [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api), [Hunter](https://help.hunter.io/integrate-hunter/hunter-api), [RocketReach](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/faq), [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/credit) and [Crustdata](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/enrich) do not charge for a miss. [Lusha's docs disagree](https://docs.lusha.com/introduction): one page sets a 1-credit minimum per request, and its billing FAQ says a no match is not charged. Read your usage log after a few misses.

### Is there a free B2B contact data API?

Yes, several, each with limits. Enrich.chat gives each IP address 10 lookups a day with no signup. [Apollo's Free plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) has 900 credits per seat a year, [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) gives 1,000 data credits once, [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing) gives 50 credits a month with API access, and [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) gives 40 credits a month. [People Data Labs](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) gives 100 credits a month but hides emails and phones. FullEnrich gives 50 trial credits, RocketReach 3 lookups and Crustdata $20 in credits.

### Which B2B data APIs work with ChatGPT or Claude?

Eight of the nine document an MCP server. Enrich.chat's at enrich.chat/mcp needs no sign-in on the free tier, or you can paste a prompt that starts with "Use www.enrich.chat". Apollo, ZoomInfo GTM AI, Hunter, RocketReach, Lusha, FullEnrich and Crustdata sign you in with OAuth or a key. People Data Labs lists none in its [docs index](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/llms.txt). The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has one-click steps.

### Which contact data API supports bulk enrichment?

Seven of the nine do. [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/bulk-enrichment-api), [RocketReach](https://docs.rocketreach.co/reference/bulk-person-lookup-person-lookup-api), [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/enrichment/enrich-contacts) and [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/contact/enrich/bulk/post) take 100 people per call, [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/pagination-batching-and-bulk) and [Crustdata](https://docs.crustdata.com/person-docs/contact/enrich) take 25, and [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/bulk-people-enrichment) takes 10. RocketReach and FullEnrich send bulk results by webhook. Enrich.chat has no bulk endpoint, so an agent loops one request per row. For bulk files, ask about Enterprise at sales@enrich.chat.
