# The best AI SDR tools in 2026, compared on price, contact data and control

We read eight AI SDR vendors' pricing and product pages on October 15, 2026. Here is what each costs, where its contacts come from, and how to pilot one before you scale it.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** The best AI SDR tool depends on how much you want automated: [HubSpot's Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) costs $1 per lead it recommends, [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) charges $1.50 per person prospected, [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) starts at $3,750 a month billed annually, and Artisan publishes no prices. Each one still needs good contact data. Enrich.chat is that data layer for your own agent, not an AI SDR.

## Key takeaways

- Prices checked October 15, 2026: HubSpot's Prospecting Agent costs $1 per lead it recommends, AiSDR $1.50 per person prospected, and 11x from $3,750 a month billed annually. Artisan publishes no prices.
- For 2,000 people a month, those published prices come to about $2,000 (HubSpot), $3,000 (AiSDR) and $3,750 (11x), by our arithmetic. The contact data alone for that volume is 20,000 Enrich.chat credits, which fits the Growth plan at $29 a month.
- SaaStr's founder reports that its AI SDR sent 3,221 emails a month against 75 to 285 per human rep, with response rates about the same, 5% to 12% depending on lead warmth.
- 11x, Artisan, AiSDR and Amplemarket bundle a contact database. HubSpot's agent sources contacts from named providers, and Salesforce's works from your own data.
- Enrich.chat is a data layer for your own agent, not an AI SDR. It has no sequencing, dialer or sending.

## The verdict

To build your own AI SDR in ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, add **Enrich.chat** as the data layer: contacts by API or MCP, each with a status, from a free tier. To have a vendor run outreach for you, compare the eight AI SDR products below, and run a supervised pilot before you scale any of them.

- Best data layer for your own AI SDR: Enrich.chat (Work emails and mobiles by API or MCP, each with a status. Not an AI SDR.)
- Best managed outbound agent: 11x (From $3,750 a month, billed annually, with contact data bundled)
- Best for HubSpot teams: HubSpot Prospecting Agent ($1 per lead it recommends, with a review step before sending)
- Best low-cost start: AiSDR ($1.50 per person prospected, no sales call needed)

## The 9 options, from data layer to full AI SDR

Enrich.chat is first because it is the data layer your own agent calls, not an AI SDR. The eight AI SDR products follow, roughly from most hands-off to most assistive. The order is not a quality ranking. Prices come from each vendor's own site, checked October 15, 2026.

### Enrich.chat

Contact and company data for your own AI SDR. Your agent calls a plain HTTPS API or a keyless MCP server and gets work emails, mobiles and company profiles, each with a status.

- Best for: Teams that build their own AI SDR in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or n8n and need contacts
- Pricing: Plans from $29 a month for 100,000 credits: 10 credits per email, 250 per mobile, 5 per profile
- Strength: Credits are spent only on matches: a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits
- Strength: Works in any AI agent with one prompt or a keyless MCP server, and the free tier needs no account
- Strength: Every email comes back with a status, and every mobile with a line type
- Strength: Unlimited seats, billed monthly, no annual contract
- Watch out for: Not an AI SDR: no sequencing, dialer or sending, so you add the agent and the sender
- Watch out for: No Chrome extension or native HubSpot or Salesforce app, and SDKs are still planned

### 11x

Alice, an outbound agent, and Julian, an inbound agent, sold as a managed platform with contact data and mailboxes bundled into the price.

- Best for: Teams that want outbound run for them and can sign an annual contract
- Pricing: From $3,750 a month, billed annually: Growth covers up to 5 users and 2,000 new prospects a month. Pro and Enterprise are custom ([11x pricing](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Priced per lead, not per send, and the entry price is published
- Strength: Lists managed mailboxes, warmup, bounce suppression and two-way CRM sync
- Strength: Lists multichannel sequences and a phone agent
- Watch out for: Annual billing is the default, and Growth works out to about $45,000 a year
- Watch out for: The pricing page shows $3,750 a month while its FAQ says $36,000 a year, so confirm in writing

### Artisan

Ava, an AI BDR that finds leads, writes outreach, handles replies and books meetings, with a built-in contact database.

- Best for: Teams that want a managed AI BDR and are fine asking for a quote
- Pricing: Not published. Plans are sized to leads contacted, mailboxes and dialer seats, and all three route to sales ([Artisan pricing](https://www.artisan.co/pricing), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Approve before sending, lock tone and calls to action, and set banned phrases
- Strength: Salesforce and HubSpot sync, plus an AI dialer add-on per seat
- Strength: Every plan includes the full platform, per its pricing page
- Watch out for: No price on any plan, so you cannot compare cost before a sales call
- Watch out for: Ava sends in your reps' names from your own domains, so a bad list damages your domain

### AiSDR

Ami, an AI outbound agent that builds and runs email and LinkedIn campaigns, with a built-in lead database and bounce checks.

- Best for: Teams that want to start small without a sales call
- Pricing: $1.50 per person prospected, charged daily, with no monthly fee. Team plans for 1,000+ people a month are quoted ([AiSDR pricing](https://aisdr.com/pricing), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Self-serve start, and research, lists and writing cost nothing extra
- Strength: Co-pilot mode lets you review replies before they go
- Strength: Two-way HubSpot sync, with a Salesforce integration on team plans
- Watch out for: Calls need the Aircall dialer, and its FAQ gives two different minimums for a first campaign, $7.50 and $3
- Watch out for: Team plans are quoted and run on quarterly contracts

### HubSpot Prospecting Agent

A HubSpot agent that researches accounts, finds the buying committee and drafts outreach in each rep's voice, inside the CRM.

- Best for: Teams that already run on HubSpot
- Pricing: $1 per lead it recommends outreach for, on HubSpot Credits, with a Starter, Professional or Enterprise edition ([HubSpot](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Review and edit drafts before sending, then switch to autonomous mode if you choose
- Strength: Outreach rules, guardrails and custom prompts for each play
- Strength: Pricing is per lead, not per message
- Watch out for: Contacts come from providers you connect, so their terms and costs apply
- Watch out for: Only useful if your team works in HubSpot

### Salesforce Agentforce

Salesforce's SDR agent does personalized outreach to leads, answers questions and sets up first meetings, using your Salesforce data.

- Best for: Salesforce teams working inbound and existing leads
- Pricing: $0.10 per standard action or $2 per conversation; add-ons from $125 per user a month. The page does not say which model covers the SDR agent ([Agentforce pricing](https://www.salesforce.com/agentforce/pricing/), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Works on the records already in your Salesforce org
- Strength: Hands interested leads to a sales rep
- Watch out for: No price is listed for the SDR agent itself
- Watch out for: Salesforce's module does not say where net-new contacts come from

### Amplemarket

A sales platform with a B2B database, signals and Duo AI agents that research prospects and draft multichannel sequences for a rep to approve.

- Best for: Teams that want AI to prepare outreach and a rep to approve it
- Pricing: Startup from $600 a month on an annual term, with 2 users. Growth and Elite are custom ([Amplemarket pricing](https://www.amplemarket.com/pricing), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Duo suggests and drafts, and says it does not send or change anything without visibility ([Duo page](https://www.amplemarket.com/duo))
- Strength: Lists phone credits and an outbound dialer
- Strength: Lists an MCP connector for Claude and ChatGPT
- Watch out for: Startup needs an annual term, and Growth and Elite prices are not published
- Watch out for: Credits are set per user per year, so a small team gets a small pool

### RegieGO (Regie.ai)

Regie.ai's agentic sales workspace with built-in enrichment, emailing, dialing and workflows. You prompt agents to source, rank, write and follow up.

- Best for: Founders and small teams that want a self-serve start
- Pricing: Free; Pro $49 a month for one person; Team $150 per seat a month, two seats minimum. Annual billing saves 17% ([Regie.ai pricing](https://www.regie.ai/pricing), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Self-serve plans with no contract, cancel anytime
- Strength: Power dialer on Pro, and syncs with HubSpot, Salesforce or Monday CRM
- Strength: Says every contact is verified before it sends
- Watch out for: Paid credits reset each period and do not roll over
- Watch out for: Data sources and approval controls are not described on its pricing page

### Apollo

An all-in-one sales platform with a contact database, sequences, a dialer, an AI Assistant and AI research, priced by seat.

- Best for: Small teams that want data, sequences and a dialer in one seat at published prices
- Pricing: Free plan; Basic $49 per seat a month, billed annually, with 30,000 credits per seat a year ([Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), Oct 15, 2026)
- Strength: Published prices, a free plan and monthly billing
- Strength: Lists an Apollo MCP server and API access
- Strength: Sequences, dialer and CRM integrations in one product
- Watch out for: AI is assistive: you build and run the sequences yourself
- Watch out for: Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle

## What is an AI SDR tool, and why does it need a data layer?

An AI SDR tool is software that does a sales development rep's job: it finds prospects, writes outreach, sends it, handles replies and books the first meeting. Vendors also call it an AI BDR or an AI sales agent. Our guide to [AI sales agents](https://enrich.chat/blog/ai-sales-agents/) covers the wider category and the evidence behind it.

The options on this page follow three designs, shown in Figure 1. A bundled platform, such as [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) or [Artisan](https://www.artisan.co/pricing), sells the database, the agent and the mailboxes together. A CRM agent, such as [HubSpot's Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent), works inside the CRM you already use. A build-your-own agent is a model you run yourself, with a data API for contacts and a tool to send.

**Figure 1: Three ways to run an AI SDR.** A grid with three rows and three columns. The rows are a bundled platform, a CRM agent and your own agent. The columns are contact data, writing and sending, and replies and booking. A bundled platform has the vendor's database, agent and mailboxes in one product. A CRM agent uses your CRM records and the providers connected to it. In your own agent, Enrich.chat supplies the contact data and you add the agent and the sender. A note says Enrich.chat covers the contact data column only and has no sequencing, dialer or sending.

*Three designs for an AI SDR. Bundled platforms include 11x, Artisan, AiSDR, Amplemarket, RegieGO and Apollo. CRM agents include HubSpot's Prospecting Agent and Salesforce's Agentforce. Editorial diagram based on the vendor pages listed in Sources.*

The agent gets the attention, but the contact source matters just as much, because an agent sends to whatever list it is given. A language model cannot recall a real work email, so it needs a database or a tool. That is the layer Enrich.chat fills. It returns work emails, mobiles and company data to an agent you already run, and it does nothing else.

## How much do AI SDR tools cost in 2026?

Published AI SDR prices run from $1 per lead to $3,750 a month on an annual contract, and Artisan publishes none. The billing units differ, so the fair comparison is the cost of a fixed workload. Figure 2 prices 2,000 people a month.

| Product | Published price | What you pay for | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [11x Alice](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) | From $3,750 a month, billed annually | Growth plan: up to 5 users and 2,000 new prospects a month | Pro and Enterprise are custom. The pricing FAQ says $36,000 a year, so confirm the number in writing |
| [Artisan Ava](https://www.artisan.co/pricing) | Not published | Plans sized to leads contacted, mailboxes and dialer seats | Two plans list about 2,500 and 6,000 leads contacted a month, and all three route to sales |
| [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) | $1.50 per person prospected | Each person it reaches, charged daily | Team plans for 1,000+ people a month are quoted and run on quarterly contracts |
| [HubSpot Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) | $1 per lead | Each lead it recommends outreach for | Runs on HubSpot Credits. Needs a Starter, Professional or Enterprise edition |
| [Salesforce Agentforce](https://www.salesforce.com/agentforce/pricing/) | $0.10 per standard action, or $2 per conversation | Actions on Flex Credits, or conversations | Add-ons from $125 per user a month are listed. The page does not say which model covers the SDR agent |
| [Amplemarket](https://www.amplemarket.com/pricing) | From $600 a month on an annual term | Startup plan: 2 users and Duo Copilot | Growth and Elite are custom. Email and phone credits are set per user per year |
| [RegieGO](https://www.regie.ai/pricing) | Free; Pro $49 a month; Team $150 per seat a month | Credits for research, drafting, enriching and dialing | Annual billing saves 17%. Team needs two seats. Paid credits do not roll over |
| [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) | Free; Basic from $49 per seat a month, billed annually | Seats plus credits: 1 per email, 8 per phone number | Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over |
| Your own agent plus a data API | 10 free lookups a day, then plans from $29 a month | Credits, spent when a lookup finds something | You supply the model and the sending tool. See [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) |

Figure 2 uses each vendor's own unit. HubSpot's $1 per lead gives $2,000 for 2,000 leads. AiSDR's $1.50 per person gives $3,000 for 2,000 people. The Growth plan from 11x covers up to 2,000 new prospects for $3,750 a month. These totals are our arithmetic from published prices, and each leaves out anything billed separately, such as a HubSpot edition.

**Figure 2: What 2,000 people a month cost under each published price.** A bar chart of monthly cost for 2,000 people at published prices. HubSpot's Prospecting Agent at $1 per lead comes to $2,000. AiSDR at $1.50 per person comes to $3,000. The 11x Growth plan costs $3,750 a month. Artisan publishes no price. The contact data alone, looked up through Enrich.chat, uses 20,000 credits and fits the Growth plan at $29 a month, but it includes no agent, so the bars do not measure the same job.

*The monthly cost of 2,000 people under each vendor's own unit, from [HubSpot](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) ($1 per lead), [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) ($1.50 per person) and [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) (Growth plan, up to 2,000 new prospects). The totals are our arithmetic. HubSpot's excludes the HubSpot edition. Enrich.chat's bar is the data alone, priced from the [published plans](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

Now price the data alone. Suppose your own agent looks up a work email for each of those 2,000 people on Enrich.chat and every lookup matches. That uses 20,000 credits, which fits the Growth plan at $29 a month. A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. You still pay for the model and a sending tool, and you do the setup that 11x says its price covers: mailboxes, warmup and CRM sync. For wider price comparisons, see our guides to [sales intelligence tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-sales-intelligence-tools/) and [lead generation tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-lead-generation-tools/).

## Which AI SDR tool should you choose?

Choose by how much of the job you want handed over and where your records live. Each line below matches a situation to the option whose own pages fit it.

- **You want outbound run for you.** [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) and [Artisan](https://www.artisan.co/pricing) sell managed outbound with contact data and mailboxes built in. 11x publishes its entry price. Artisan quotes every plan.
- **Your team works in HubSpot.** [HubSpot's Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) bills $1 per lead it recommends and lets you review drafts before anything sends.
- **You work inbound leads in Salesforce.** [Salesforce's Agentforce SDR agent](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/agentforce-sales-agents-quick-look/discover-agentforce-sales-agents) handles outreach to leads, answers questions and sets up first meetings from your own data.
- **You want to start small.** [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) starts at $1.50 per person without a sales call. [RegieGO](https://www.regie.ai/pricing) has a free plan with 250 one-time credits per person.
- **You want a rep to approve each sequence.** [Amplemarket's Duo](https://www.amplemarket.com/duo) drafts multichannel sequences that a rep edits or sends.
- **You want data, sequences and a dialer in one seat.** [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) publishes prices from $49 a seat a month, billed annually. Our [Apollo pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) has the detail.
- **You are building your own.** Pair a model with Enrich.chat for contacts and follow [how to build an AI SDR](https://enrich.chat/blog/how-to-build-an-ai-sdr/).

Do not buy several at once. [SaaStr's founder says](https://www.saastr.com/10-things-to-know-before-you-deploy-your-first-ai-sdr-the-very-latest-with-saastrs-jason-and-amelia/) one vendor covers 90% or more of use cases, and most teams need at most two, one for outbound and one for inbound. SaaStr itself runs four.

## Where does each AI SDR tool get its contact data?

Most AI SDR tools bundle their own database. HubSpot's agent connects outside providers, and Salesforce's agent works from the data in your org. The table shows what each vendor's own pages say, so you know what to ask before you buy.

| Tool | Where contacts come from | What the page says about checking them |
| --- | --- | --- |
| [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) | Bundled in every plan | Lists bounce suppression and domain health monitoring |
| [Artisan](https://www.artisan.co/pricing) | Built-in database; Artisan claims 250M+ verified contacts | Does not describe how contacts are checked |
| [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) | Built-in database (it cites 300M+ leads) and waterfall enrichment across 20 providers | Three bounce checks before sending, including catch-all addresses |
| [HubSpot Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) | Your HubSpot records plus ZoomInfo, Apollo, Surfe and Seamless | No email checks described. You can review drafts before sending |
| [Salesforce Agentforce](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/agentforce-sales-agents-quick-look/discover-agentforce-sales-agents) | Your own sales, product and customer data | Does not say where new contacts come from |
| [Amplemarket](https://www.amplemarket.com/pricing) | Built-in database, with email and phone credits per user | Lists real-time email validation |
| [RegieGO](https://www.regie.ai/pricing) | Built-in enrichment; sources are not named | Says every contact is verified before it sends |
| [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) | Apollo's database, which its menu sizes at 240M contacts and 30M companies | Says email credits give access to verified emails |
| Enrich.chat | The API or MCP server your own agent calls | Every work email returns `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`, and every mobile returns a line type |

Database sizes are each vendor's own claims, and we did not verify them. Size also says nothing about freshness: people change jobs, and a stale list sends to the wrong person at scale. Our guide to [how fast B2B contact data goes bad](https://enrich.chat/blog/b2b-data-decay/) explains the problem. AiSDR describes a waterfall across 20 providers, an approach our guide to [waterfall enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/waterfall-enrichment/) explains. Ask any vendor to run a blind sample on records you already know, as our guide to [B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/) suggests.

## Do AI SDR tools actually work?

They raise sending volume sharply, but public evidence that they raise reply rates on their own is thin, and most results come from vendors or their customers. Three sources give a balanced picture.

### One buyer's account: volume up, replies about the same

[SaaStr founder Jason Lemkin](https://www.saastr.com/the-1-most-important-thing-to-understand-about-ai-sdrs/) reports that SaaStr's AI SDR sends 3,221 emails a month, while its human reps sent 75 to 285 each. He says response rates were essentially the same, 5% to 12% depending on lead warmth, whether a person or the AI sent the email. He also says he has watched hundreds of B2B companies deploy AI SDRs and the vast majority got nothing. SaaStr read the first 1,000 emails by hand, trained its AI SDR daily for 30 days and audited it daily for 90 more. This is one company's own account, and SaaStr also runs events about this market, so treat it as a case study and not a benchmark.

### A benchmark: agents handle workflows better than conversations

Salesforce AI Research's [CRMArena-Pro paper](https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.18878), from May 2025, tested agents on 19 tasks across sales, service and quoting. Leading agents solved about 58% of tasks in one turn and about 35% when the work took several turns. They did best at executing a defined workflow, where top scores passed 83%. Models have changed since May 2025, so read it as a snapshot. Our guide to [AI sales agents](https://enrich.chat/blog/ai-sales-agents/) covers more of the evidence.

### A reported pilot that did not work out

[TechCrunch reported in March 2025](https://techcrunch.com/2025/03/24/a16z-and-benchmark-backed-11x-has-been-claiming-customers-it-doesnt-have/) that several companies on 11x's customer list said they were not customers. ZoomInfo, one of them, said it ran a one-month pilot of 11x's AI SDR, did not move forward, and found the product performed worse than its own SDRs. 11x said it removes inaccurate mentions on request, that the remaining cases were human error, and that results depend on input quality. This is one reported case about one vendor. The lesson applies to every tool: run your own pilot against your current process before you sign.

## How do you test an AI SDR before you scale it?

Run a small, supervised pilot with a control group, and read the first messages yourself. Figure 3 shows the rollout SaaStr describes, with Google's spam-rate limits as the guardrail.

1. **Prove the playbook with people first.** SaaStr's founder says an AI SDR multiplies a motion that already works and cannot invent one. If your reps do not get replies, an agent will not either.
2. **Sample the data before you send.** Take 100 contacts whose status you already know and see how the tool scores them. Treat catch-all addresses as risky, because a domain that accepts every address cannot confirm one. The free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/) shows whether a domain accepts any address.
3. **Read the first 1,000 messages.** SaaStr reports it scored each one from 1 to 5 and retrained its agent on anything below 4.
4. **Watch your spam rate.** [Google tells bulk senders](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126?hl=en) to keep the spam rate in Postmaster Tools below 0.10% and to avoid ever reaching 0.30%. Of every 2,000 messages, 0.30% is 6 spam reports, so a high-volume agent can reach the limit quickly. Google also advises against buying email addresses.
5. **Count meetings held, not messages sent.** Compare the agent with your current process for 30 days. Our guides to [email bounce rate](https://enrich.chat/blog/email-bounce-rate/) and [cold email data](https://enrich.chat/blog/cold-email/) explain the numbers to track.
6. **Keep approval on.** HubSpot lets you review drafts first, Artisan lets you approve before sending, and AiSDR offers a co-pilot mode for replies. Switch to autonomous only after the output holds up.

**Figure 3: A 120-day AI SDR rollout as SaaStr reports it.** A timeline from day 0 to day 120. SaaStr read the first 1,000 emails by hand at launch. It trained the agent every day for 30 days, then audited its output daily from day 31 to day 120, about 30 to 45 minutes a day. Throughout, a sender should keep the spam rate reported in Google Postmaster Tools under 0.10% and never reach 0.30%.

*One buyer's rollout, with a sender guardrail. The training and audit periods come from [SaaStr founder Jason Lemkin](https://www.saastr.com/the-1-most-important-thing-to-understand-about-ai-sdrs/), who runs AI SDRs. The spam-rate limits come from [Google's email sender guidelines](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/81126?hl=en). Treat the timeline as one company's account, not a standard.*

## Is it legal to run an AI SDR?

Often yes for email if you follow CAN-SPAM, but AI voice calls need prior express consent, and you stay responsible when a vendor sends for you. This is general information, not legal advice.

[The FTC's CAN-SPAM guide](https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business) says the law makes no exception for business-to-business email. It sets penalties of up to $53,088 per violating email and requires you to honor an opt-out within 10 business days. It also says hiring another company to send your email does not transfer your obligations, and both the company whose product is promoted and the company that sends the message may be held responsible. For calls, the [FCC ruled in February 2024](https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/FCC-24-17A1.pdf) that the TCPA's limits on artificial voices cover current AI technologies that generate human voices, so those calls need the called party's prior express consent. Voice features are on sale: [11x lists an AI phone agent](https://www.11x.ai/) and [Amplemarket sells Duo Voice](https://www.amplemarket.com/pricing). Our guide to [TCPA and B2B cold calling](https://enrich.chat/blog/tcpa-b2b-cold-calling/) covers the call side. You are responsible for TCPA, CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance in your own outreach, and anyone can opt out of Enrich.chat at [enrich.chat/opt-out/](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/).

## When is a full AI SDR a better choice than Enrich.chat?

A full AI SDR is the better choice when you want a vendor to run the whole motion. Enrich.chat is not built for that. It has no sequencing, no dialer, no sending, no Chrome extension and no native HubSpot or Salesforce app, and its SDKs are planned. It returns contact and company data to an agent or app you control.

- **Choose 11x or Artisan** if you want mailboxes, warmup, sequencing and reply handling managed for you, and you accept an annual contract or a quote.
- **Choose the HubSpot or Salesforce agent** if your reps already work in that CRM and you want the agent to use the records there.
- **Choose Amplemarket or Apollo** if you want a database, sequences and a dialer in one product, with seats.
- **Choose Enrich.chat** if you already run an agent in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or n8n and need contacts, or if your AI SDR accepts lists you bring.

## How do you add Enrich.chat as the data layer for an AI SDR?

Give your agent a prompt that starts with "Use www.enrich.chat". It reads [enrich.chat/agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) and learns the endpoints and rules. You can also add the keyless MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp`, with one-click steps on the [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/). It works in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, VS Code, n8n, Make and Zapier (via HTTP). The free tier needs no key, and your agent can call the [API](https://enrich.chat/agents/) directly.

Paste this prompt to build a pilot list. Eight people with a work email each use at most nine of your 10 free lookups for the day, because one search counts as one lookup however many people it returns.

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find 8 operations leaders at US logistics companies with 50 to 200 employees. Add each work email with its status, put verified emails in one list and catch_all and unknown emails in a second list marked hold, and return a table with name, title, company, LinkedIn URL and email status. Do not write or send anything. Tell me the total credits_used.
```

If you build your own agent, give it a standing rule before any message is queued:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to check every work email before you queue a message. Queue only emails with the status verified. Hold catch_all and unknown for a person, skip anyone not found, and never write an address from memory.
```

Each response includes `credits_used`, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. Treat every contact as a strong lead, not a guarantee. A LinkedIn URL is only a lookup key, and Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn. If your AI SDR accepts lists you bring, as [AiSDR's page](https://aisdr.com/pricing) says it does, have the agent return a table and import it there. Otherwise, move results with an automation, as in our guide to [n8n lead enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/n8n-lead-enrichment/). To build the list itself, try the free [lead list builder](https://enrich.chat/tools/lead-list-builder/). Plans start at $29 a month, with 10 free lookups a day first. See [pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best AI SDR tool?

It depends on how much you want automated. For managed outbound, compare [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) (from $3,750 a month, billed annually) and [Artisan](https://www.artisan.co/pricing) (quote only). HubSpot teams can use [the Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) at $1 per lead it recommends. To start small, [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) charges $1.50 per person prospected. If you build your own, Enrich.chat supplies the contacts. Run a supervised pilot before you scale any of them.

### How much does an AI SDR cost?

On October 15, 2026, [HubSpot](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) listed its Prospecting Agent at $1 per lead, [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) listed $1.50 per person prospected, and [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) listed Growth from $3,750 a month billed annually. [Amplemarket](https://www.amplemarket.com/pricing) started at $600 a month, and Artisan published no prices. A build-your-own setup costs less for data: Enrich.chat has 10 free lookups a day and plans from $29 a month. See [pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

### Is there a free AI SDR?

Partly. [RegieGO](https://www.regie.ai/pricing) has a free plan with 250 one-time credits per person, and [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) has a free plan with 900 credits per seat a year. [AiSDR](https://aisdr.com/pricing) lets you build a campaign before you pay. None is free for steady use. If you only need contacts for your own agent, Enrich.chat gives 10 free lookups a day with no signup, but it is a data layer, not an AI SDR.

### Can an AI SDR replace a human SDR?

Not fully, on the public evidence. [SaaStr's founder reports](https://www.saastr.com/the-1-most-important-thing-to-understand-about-ai-sdrs/) that its AI SDR sent 3,221 emails a month against 75 to 285 per human rep, with response rates about the same, and that most companies he has seen got nothing from AI SDRs. In [CRMArena-Pro](https://arxiv.org/abs/2505.18878), leading agents solved about 35% of multi-turn tasks. Keep a person on approvals and meetings.

### Where do AI SDR tools get their contact data?

Most bundle a database: [11x](https://www.11x.ai/products/alice/pricing) says every plan includes contact data, and Artisan, AiSDR and Amplemarket describe built-in databases. [HubSpot's Prospecting Agent](https://www.hubspot.com/products/sales/ai-prospecting-agent) sources contacts from providers it names, including ZoomInfo, Apollo, Surfe and Seamless. [Salesforce's module](https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/agentforce-sales-agents-quick-look/discover-agentforce-sales-agents) says its agent works from your own data. A build-your-own agent calls a data API such as Enrich.chat, which returns a status on every work email.

### Can I build my own AI SDR with ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes, for research, list building and drafting. A model cannot recall real contact details, so give it a data tool. Start with a prompt that begins "Use www.enrich.chat" or add the keyless MCP server, then add a sender and an approval step. Enrich.chat does not send, sequence or dial. Our guide to [how to build an AI SDR](https://enrich.chat/blog/how-to-build-an-ai-sdr/) walks through the build.
