# The best B2B data providers in 2026, compared on price, data and terms

We read ten providers' pricing pages, docs and terms on October 15, 2026. Here is who each one suits, what it costs, and how to test any vendor's data before you sign.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** The best B2B data providers in 2026 are Enrich.chat for AI agents and apps on credit plans from $29 a month, ZoomInfo for enterprise intent and org data, Apollo for data plus outreach from [$49 a seat a month](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) billed yearly, and Cognism for European mobiles. ZoomInfo and Cognism publish no prices, and [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median ZoomInfo contract at $33,500 a year. Test any vendor on your own records before you sign.

## Key takeaways

- B2B data providers bill four ways: per seat (Apollo), credit plans (Enrich.chat, Lusha, UpLead, RocketReach, People Data Labs), quote-only contracts (ZoomInfo, Cognism, Seamless.AI) and prepaid top-ups (ZoomInfo GTM AI).
- For 500 contacts a month with an email and a mobile, the cheapest published yearly plans cost $98 (Apollo) to $299.95 (Lusha) a month. The same contacts need 130,000 credits a month on Enrich.chat, which fits the Scale plan at $90 a month.
- ZoomInfo, Cognism and Seamless.AI publish no prices. Vendr reports a $33,500 median ZoomInfo contract, and SpendHound reports $8,300 a year on average for Seamless.AI's small-business customers.
- Vendor accuracy claims of 95% to 99.8% each use their own method and sample. A blind test on 100 to 200 of your own records tells you more.
- The UK's ICO says accepting a data broker's assurances is not enough: the buyer must do its own due diligence before using the data.

## The verdict

For teams that put contact data inside AI agents and apps, or want a low entry price with unlimited seats, **Enrich.chat** is the best B2B data provider: one prompt, no annual contract, and credits spent only on the emails and mobiles it finds.

- Best for AI agents and apps: Enrich.chat (One prompt, credit plans from $29, no annual contract)
- Best for enterprise intent: ZoomInfo (Intent, org charts and hierarchy data)
- Best all-in-one for SMBs: Apollo (Data, sequences and a dialer in one seat)
- Best for European mobiles: Cognism (Phone-verified mobiles, by its own account)

## What is a B2B data provider?

A B2B data provider sells information about companies and the people who work at them, so sales, marketing and product teams can find and reach buyers. Most sell the same five kinds of data. They differ in how deep that data goes, how you pay for it and how you get it out: an app, a browser extension, an API or an AI agent.

| Data type | What it includes | Typical use |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Contact data | Work emails, mobiles and [direct dials](https://enrich.chat/blog/direct-dials/) | Email and phone outreach |
| Firmographics | Industry, headcount, revenue range, location | Targeting and lead routing |
| Technographics | The software a company runs | Selling to users of a tool |
| Intent and signals | Topics a company researches, job changes, funding | Timing your outreach |
| Company structure | Parents, subsidiaries and IDs such as D-U-N-S numbers | Account planning and risk |

Dun & Bradstreet, for example, keys its records to the [D-U-N-S Number](https://www.dnb.com/en-us/smb/duns.html), a nine-digit identifier for businesses. Our guide to [firmographic and technographic data](https://enrich.chat/blog/firmographic-data/) explains the company fields, and [what data enrichment is](https://enrich.chat/blog/what-is-data-enrichment/) covers adding this data to records you already hold.

## How do B2B data providers charge?

B2B data providers use four pricing models: a fee per seat, a credit plan with a set allowance, an annual contract quoted by sales, or prepaid top-ups. The model decides what you pay in a quiet month, so check it before you compare prices. Figure 1 places each provider by its main model and the deepest data on its plans, from pages we read on October 15, 2026.

**Figure 1: B2B data providers by pricing model and data depth.** A grid of B2B data providers. Rows are pricing models: per seat (Apollo); credit plans (People Data Labs, Enrich.chat, Lusha, UpLead, RocketReach and D&B Hoovers Essentials); quote-only annual contracts (Cognism, Seamless.AI, ZoomInfo and D&B Hoovers); and prepaid top-ups (ZoomInfo GTM AI). Columns are data depth: contacts and company data, then intent and buying signals, then org charts or corporate family trees.

*Each provider placed by its main way of billing and the deepest data on its plans. Several sell more than one way: ZoomInfo also sells GTM AI credits, and Dun & Bradstreet sells a self-serve Hoovers Essentials plan. Sources, checked October 15, 2026: [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [PDL](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [UpLead](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/), [RocketReach](https://rocketreach.co/pricing), [D&B Essentials](https://www.dnb.com/en-us/products/dnb-hoovers-smb.html), [D&B Family Tree](https://community.dnb.com/additional-resources-for-hoovers-76/corporate-family-tree-d-b-hoovers-1517), [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), [Seamless.AI](https://seamless.ai/pricing), [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) and [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing).*

- **Per seat.** [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) charges $49 to $119 a seat a month billed yearly, and each seat adds credits to a shared pool. [Apollo's credits page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits) says an email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8, and unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
- **Credit plan.** [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) sells monthly plans from $29 for 100,000 credits, and spends 10 credits on a work email and 250 on a mobile. Lusha, UpLead, RocketReach, People Data Labs and D&B Hoovers Essentials sell a monthly or yearly allowance. One contact can cost several credits: [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) charges 1 credit for an email and 5 for a phone, while [UpLead](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/) sells one credit for both.
- **Quote only.** ZoomInfo, Cognism and Seamless.AI sell contracts through sales. [Cognism's terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) renew each order for at least a year unless you give 60 days' written notice, and [Seamless.AI](https://seamless.ai/customers/education/articles/upgrading-or-canceling-your-account) says you must act at least 60 days before your renewal date.
- **Prepaid top-ups.** ZoomInfo's [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) sells prepaid credits from $20 with no contract or seat fees.

Two rules cost buyers the most. Credits that expire turn every unused credit into a sunk cost, and a missed renewal window locks in another year. Our [Apollo pricing breakdown](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) shows how expiry raises the real price of each contact.

## How much do B2B data providers cost in 2026?

Published entry prices run from $33 a month (RocketReach Essentials, billed yearly) to $98 a month (People Data Labs Pro), while ZoomInfo, Cognism and Seamless.AI publish no price for their main plans. Each figure below comes from the vendor's own page on October 15, 2026.

| Provider | Entry price | Free tier | Commitment |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | [$29 a month for 100,000 credits](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) | 10 lookups a day, no signup | Monthly, cancel anytime |
| ZoomInfo | Quote; [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) top-ups from $20 | 1,000 GTM AI data credits once | Contract for Sales plans |
| Apollo | [$49 a seat a month yearly, $65 monthly](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) | 75 credits a seat a month | Monthly or yearly |
| Cognism | [Quote; 5 seats included](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) | Demo only | Renews yearly, 60 days' notice |
| Lusha | [$37.45 a month yearly, $49.90 monthly](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) | 40 credits a month | Monthly or yearly |
| People Data Labs | [$98 a month for 350 credits](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) | 100 credits a month, no contact data | Monthly or yearly; Enterprise annual |
| D&B Hoovers | [Essentials $49 a month or $529 a year](https://www.dnb.com/en-us/products/dnb-hoovers-smb.html) | First month free on Essentials | Auto-renews at list price |
| UpLead | [$74 a month yearly, $99 monthly](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/) | 7-day trial, 5 credits | Monthly or yearly |
| Seamless.AI | [Quote](https://seamless.ai/pricing) | 50 credits once | Auto-renews; 60 days to change |
| RocketReach | [$399 a year ($33 a month)](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) | 3 lookups | Monthly or yearly, prepaid |

For providers that hide prices, buyer data gives a rough guide. [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) shows a median ZoomInfo contract of $33,500 a year across 1,577 purchases. [Vendr's Dun & Bradstreet page](https://vendr.com/marketplace/dun-and-bradstreet) shows a $41,400 median across 109 purchases of all its products, not Hoovers alone. [SpendHound](https://www.spendhound.com/marketplace/seamlessai-pricing) reports that Seamless.AI's small-business customers pay $8,300 a year on average. See [what ZoomInfo buyers pay](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/) and [Seamless.AI pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/seamless-ai-pricing/) for detail.

### What 500 contacts a month cost on each plan

For 500 contacts a month with a work email and a mobile each, the cheapest published yearly plans cost $98 to $299.95 a month. On Enrich.chat the same contacts need 130,000 credits a month, which fits the Scale plan at $90 a month.

**Figure 2: Monthly cost of 500 contacts with an email and a mobile.** Bar chart of the monthly cost of 500 contacts a month, each with a work email and a mobile, on the cheapest published plan billed yearly, checked October 15, 2026: Enrich.chat $90 a month on the Scale plan, Apollo $98 for two Basic seats, RocketReach $142 on Ultimate, UpLead $199 on Plus with extra credits, and Lusha $299.95 on Premium. ZoomInfo, Cognism and Seamless.AI publish no price.

*Cheapest published plan for 500 contacts a month, each with a work email and a mobile, billed yearly and shown per month. The Enrich.chat bar is the Scale plan at $90 a month, billed monthly, which covers the 130,000 credits these contacts need. D&B Hoovers Essentials and PDL Pro entry plans include fewer than 500 contact credits a month. Sources, checked October 15, 2026: [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [RocketReach](https://rocketreach.co/pricing), [UpLead](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) and [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

- **Apollo:** 500 contacts use 4,500 credits a month, at 1 per email and 8 per phone. [Basic](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) grants 30,000 credits a seat a year, so 2 seats cover it at $98 a month, billed yearly.
- **RocketReach:** 500 contacts a month are 6,000 exports a year. [Pro](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) includes 3,600, so you need Ultimate at $1,699 a year.
- **UpLead:** [Plus](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/) includes 4,800 credits a year for $149 a month billed yearly. The other 1,200 credits cost $0.50 each, which brings the total to about $199 a month.
- **Lusha:** 500 contacts use 3,000 credits a month, at 1 per email and 5 per phone. Only [Premium's yearly plan](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), with 40,800 credits a year, covers it.
- **Enrich.chat:** 500 emails use 5,000 credits and 500 mobiles use 125,000, 130,000 in all if every lookup returns both. That fits the Scale plan at $90 a month. Pro-rated at that plan's rate the credits are worth $23.40, but the plan price is what you pay. Each response shows `credits_used`.

Billed monthly, the same job costs $130 on Apollo and $399.90 on Lusha, against $90 on Enrich.chat, which bills monthly only. Price your own mix on the [Enrich.chat pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

## Which B2B data provider should you choose?

Pick the provider whose strength matches the job you hire it for. Most teams need one main source, and some add a second for one region or one data type.

| If you need | Choose | Why |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Contact data inside an AI agent, a script or your app | Enrich.chat | One prompt, credit plans from $29, a status on every field |
| Intent data and org charts for a large sales team | ZoomInfo | Intent, website visitors and hierarchy data on Copilot plans |
| Data, sequences and a dialer in one seat | Apollo | Published prices and outreach tools included |
| Mobiles for calling into the UK and Europe | Cognism | Phone-verified mobiles and DNC screening, by its own account |
| Phone numbers from a Chrome extension | Lusha | Free plan and monthly billing |
| Raw person and company records for a product | People Data Labs | API-first, per-match enrichment, bulk licenses |
| Company structure and context | D&B Hoovers | D-U-N-S records and corporate family trees |
| One flat credit per contact | UpLead | Email and mobile in one credit |

If a single source leaves too many gaps, read our guide to [waterfall enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/waterfall-enrichment/) and the list of the [best data enrichment tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-data-enrichment-tools/).

## How do you evaluate a B2B data provider without trusting its accuracy claims?

Test each provider on records you have already verified, score every field yourself, and ask how the data was collected. Vendor accuracy figures use each vendor's own method and sample, so you cannot compare them with each other.

| Vendor | Published claim, October 15, 2026 | What to ask |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Apollo | ["a seven-step verification process for a 98% accuracy rate"](https://www.apollo.io/product/b2b-data) for emails | Do catch-all emails count as accurate? |
| RocketReach | ["Verified on demand and in real time with 98% accuracy"](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) | Which fields, on which sample? |
| UpLead | ["a data accuracy rate of 95%"](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/) for email addresses | What is the figure for phones? |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI | ["99.8% of ZoomInfo emails are name-corroborated to the target contact"](https://gtm.ai/pricing) in its own benchmark | Does a name match mean the email delivers? |

### Run a blind sample

A blind sample tests every vendor on the same rows, with the answers held back. Figure 3 shows the five steps.

**Figure 3: A blind-sample test for any B2B data provider.** Five steps to test a B2B data provider before you sign: pick 100 to 200 records you have already verified, send each vendor only the inputs, score every field for bounces, catch-all domains, live lines and wrong people, check how the data was collected, and price the real workload. Then choose on cost per usable row, not on claimed database size.

*A test you can run on free tiers and trials. The ICO says accepting a data broker's assurances is not enough, so score the data yourself and ask how it was collected. Sources: [ICO guidance on data brokers](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/organisations-using-marketing-services-of-data-brokers/), [GDPR Article 14](https://gdpr-info.eu/art-14-gdpr/) and the [California Data Broker Registry](https://cppa.ca.gov/data_broker_registry/).*

1. **Pick 100 to 200 records you trust.** Use contacts you have already verified, spread across the regions, titles and company sizes you sell to. Keep the known answers apart.
2. **Send only the inputs.** Give each vendor a name and company, or a LinkedIn URL, and nothing else. Free tiers and trials keep the test cheap.
3. **Score every field.** Record whether each field matched, bounced, hit a catch-all domain, reached a live line or found the wrong person. Favor vendors that return a status with each field, so you can drop risky rows before you send. Check doubtful domains with the free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/) and numbers with the [phone number validator](https://enrich.chat/tools/phone-number-validator/).
4. **Check how the data was collected.** Ask each vendor, in writing, for its sources, its privacy notice and its opt-out process. Look for named sources, a privacy notice and a public opt-out page.
5. **Price the real workload.** Divide what the plan costs by the rows you would really use, after seats, minimums, expiring credits and billed misses. Repeat the test before renewal, because people change jobs and last year's result says little about today's records.

### Check compliance and collection methods

The UK regulator puts the burden on the buyer. The ICO's [guidance on data brokers](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/organisations-using-marketing-services-of-data-brokers/) says: "Simply accepting a data broker's assurances that the data they are supplying is compliant is not enough." It suggests you first establish:

- Who compiled the data, and whether it came from the people directly or from other sources.
- What people were told when their data was collected, and when that was.
- How the data was collected, and records of consent if the list is sold as consented.

Work emails count. The ICO's [B2B marketing guidance](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/business-to-business-marketing/) says data about a named person is personal data even when they act in a business role, and that the right to object to direct marketing is absolute. The data broker guidance adds that you must give people on a bought list your privacy information within one month. Both ICO pages say they are under review after the Data (Use and Access) Act.

Then run three quick checks on each vendor:

- **Read the privacy policy for its sources.** [GDPR Article 14](https://gdpr-info.eu/art-14-gdpr/) requires a controller to tell people "from which source the personal data originate". [RocketReach's privacy policy](https://rocketreach.co/privacy), for example, lists scans of public websites, third-party data providers and data brokers, and email accounts its customers connect. [Cognism's compliance page](https://www.cognism.com/compliance) lists community-sourced data, public information, machine learning models and partner data.
- **Check the California registry.** The [California Data Broker Registry](https://cppa.ca.gov/data_broker_registry/) listed 603 data brokers on July 29, 2026, and registered brokers had to start processing deletion requests from the state's DROP platform on August 1, 2026. Ask a vendor whether it is registered and how it handles those requests.
- **Find the opt-out.** A public opt-out page with a stated time frame shows the vendor handles removals. Enrich.chat processes opt-outs at [enrich.chat/opt-out](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/) within 15 days.

Phone numbers bring their own rules. Whichever provider you use, you stay responsible for TCPA rules on calls and texts, and for CAN-SPAM and GDPR on email.

## What do B2B data providers say about GDPR and do-not-call lists?

Most providers say they follow GDPR and CCPA, and a few describe extra steps such as notifying people or screening phone numbers. These are the vendors' own statements, read on October 15, 2026, not findings of ours.

| Provider | What the vendor says | Source |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ZoomInfo | Extends GDPR data subject rights to its whole database, offers DNC screening, and is SOC II, ISO 27701 and ISO 27001 certified | [Privacy at ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/trust-center/privacy-at-zoominfo) |
| Apollo | GDPR compliant, processing on a legitimate-interest basis; SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified | [Apollo Data FAQ](https://www.apollo.io/product/b2b-data) |
| Cognism | Follows GDPR and CCPA, notifies contacts within GDPR timeframes, and says it screens against do-not-call and TPS lists (its own pages give different counts) | [Compliance page](https://www.cognism.com/compliance) |
| Lusha | Lists GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27701 and a do-not-call list under compliance | [Pricing page](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) |
| People Data Labs | ISO and SOC 2 Type 2 compliant | [Pricing page](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) |
| D&B Hoovers | Verifies every Essentials contact by name, company, title and contact info | [Essentials page](https://www.dnb.com/en-us/products/dnb-hoovers-smb.html) |
| UpLead | Follows data protection policies to comply with GDPR and CCPA | [Help center](https://support.uplead.com/en/articles/5621348-is-the-uplead-website-secure) |
| Seamless.AI | Lists GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2 Type II and ISO | [Homepage](https://seamless.ai/) |
| RocketReach | Relies on legitimate interests for people it has no contract with, and takes deletion requests online | [Privacy policy](https://rocketreach.co/privacy) |
| Enrich.chat | Processes opt-outs within 15 days and never logs in to LinkedIn; you handle TCPA, CAN-SPAM and GDPR | [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) |

A SOC 2 report or an ISO certificate tests a vendor's security and privacy controls. It does not tell you whether a list is lawful for your campaign. Use these statements to build a shortlist, then ask for the vendor's data processing agreement and run your own blind test.

## When is ZoomInfo, Cognism or another provider the better choice?

Another provider is the better choice when you need data or tools that Enrich.chat does not offer, such as intent data, org charts or a sales app your reps live in.

- **ZoomInfo** when you sell on intent and need hierarchy data across many accounts. [ZoomInfo's pricing page](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) lists buyer intent, website visitors and champion tracking on Copilot Advanced. Budget for a contract: [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median at $33,500 a year.
- **Cognism** when phone outreach into the UK and Europe is the main job. [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/compliance) says its researchers check mobile numbers by phone and that it screens against do-not-call lists.
- **Apollo** when your reps want data, sequences and a dialer in one seat. Its [pricing FAQ](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) says standard plans are for internal use, so a product built on Apollo data needs a separate agreement.
- **D&B Hoovers** when company structure matters. Its [Corporate Family Tree](https://community.dnb.com/additional-resources-for-hoovers-76/corporate-family-tree-d-b-hoovers-1517) gives "a clear view of parent companies, subsidiaries, and global connections."
- **People Data Labs** when you license bulk person and company data for a product, with formal data testing on its [Enterprise plan](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person).
- **Lusha, UpLead, Seamless.AI or RocketReach** when one rep reveals contacts in a browser extension or web app, one at a time.

Enrich.chat has two honest gaps. It has no intent data, org charts or corporate family trees: it returns people, work emails, mobiles and company profiles. And it has no Chrome extension, sequencer or dialer, and its SDKs are still planned. For more head-to-head detail, see [ZoomInfo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/zoominfo/), [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/), [RocketReach alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/rocketreach/) and [Apollo vs ZoomInfo](https://enrich.chat/compare/apollo-vs-zoominfo/).

## How do you use a B2B data provider from an AI agent?

With Enrich.chat, you add the remote MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp` to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code or Codex, with no sign-in and no key. The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has the steps. Or paste one prompt: the agent reads [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) and calls a plain HTTPS API. Either way you get 10 free lookups a day and no signup. To go past that, log in on the [account page](https://enrich.chat/account/) with your email and a one-time code, pick a plan and pay through checkout, and your API key appears there. ZoomInfo GTM AI, Apollo, Lusha, Cognism and [D&B Hoovers](https://www.dnb.com/en-us/products/dnb-hoovers.html) offer MCP connections too, and each one needs an account first.

| Enrich.chat call | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| `GET /v1/person` | Enriches a person from a LinkedIn URL, an email, or a name and company |
| `GET /v1/search` | Finds people from a plain-English description, with filters |
| `GET /v1/company` | Enriches a company by its domain |
| `GET /v1/company/people` | Lists people at a company by title |

Each work email comes back as `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`, and each mobile has a line type of `mobile` or `unknown`. The line type describes the number, not whether the person still answers it. A LinkedIn URL is only a lookup key: Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn. Run the blind test from your agent with this prompt:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to look up these contacts by name and company. Compare each work email and mobile you find with my known_email and known_mobile columns, flag catch_all emails, and report matches, mismatches, misses and total credits_used: [paste rows]
```

To build a test list first, describe your buyers to the free [AI lead list builder](https://enrich.chat/tools/lead-list-builder/). The [person enrichment API](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/) and [AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) pages cover setup.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best B2B data provider?

It depends on the job. For contact data inside an AI agent or app, Enrich.chat fits best: one prompt, credit plans from $29 a month and no annual contract. ZoomInfo suits large teams that need intent data and org charts. Apollo suits small teams that want data plus outreach from $49 a seat a month billed yearly, per [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). Cognism suits teams calling into Europe. Test your top two on your own records before you sign.

### Which B2B data provider has the most accurate data?

No independent benchmark covers every provider, and each vendor measures accuracy its own way. On October 15, 2026, [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/product/b2b-data) claimed a 98% email accuracy rate, [RocketReach](https://rocketreach.co/pricing) claimed 98% accuracy and [UpLead](https://www.uplead.com/pricing/) a 95% email accuracy rate, each on its own sample. The reliable answer is a blind test: run 100 to 200 records you have already verified through each vendor and score every field for bounces, catch-all domains, live lines and wrong people.

### How much does B2B contact data cost?

Published entry plans run from $33 a month (RocketReach Essentials, billed yearly) to $98 a month (People Data Labs Pro), checked October 15, 2026. ZoomInfo, Cognism and Seamless.AI quote prices, and [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) reports a $33,500 median ZoomInfo contract. An email plus a phone costs 9 credits on Apollo and 6 on Lusha. Enrich.chat plans start at $29 a month for 100,000 credits: an email costs 10 credits, a mobile 250, and a miss 0.

### Is there a free B2B database?

Several providers have free tiers, though none gives full access. Enrich.chat gives every IP address 10 lookups a day with no signup. [Apollo's free plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) includes 75 credits a seat a month, [Lusha's](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) 40 credits a month, and [People Data Labs'](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) 100 credits a month with contact data hidden. Seamless.AI gives 50 credits once, RocketReach 3 lookups and UpLead a 7-day trial with 5 credits, as of October 15, 2026.

### Is it legal to buy B2B contact data under GDPR?

It can be, but the buyer carries the duty. The UK ICO says a named work email is personal data even when the person acts for a business, and that accepting a data broker's assurances is not enough: you must do your own due diligence. You must also give people on a bought list your privacy information within one month and honor any objection to direct marketing. See the [ICO's guidance on data brokers](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/organisations-using-marketing-services-of-data-brokers/).

### Can I use a B2B data provider inside ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. With Enrich.chat you add the MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp, or paste one prompt that points your agent to enrich.chat/agents.md, with no signup for the first 10 lookups a day. [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing), Apollo, Lusha, Cognism and [D&B Hoovers](https://www.dnb.com/en-us/products/dnb-hoovers.html) offer MCP connections too, but those need an account first. Our page on the [data API for AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) shows the setup, and our [ChatGPT lead generation prompts](https://enrich.chat/blog/chatgpt-lead-generation-prompts/) give ready examples.
