# The best email finder tools in 2026, compared on price, misses and AI agent access

We read nine vendors' pricing pages and docs on October 15, 2026. See what each email finder costs, what it charges when it finds nothing, and how an AI agent connects to it.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** The best email finder depends on how you work. [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) fits AI agents and apps, with 10 lookups a day and no signup, and plans from $29 a month. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing) suits browser prospecting from $49 a month, and [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) bills only for verified emails from $29 a month.

## Key takeaways

- Monthly-billed entry plans start at $29 on Enrich.chat and $29 on Anymail Finder, and reach $99 on Findymail. Hunter, Prospeo and Voila Norbert each start at $49.
- Seven of the nine tools say a search that finds nothing costs nothing. Snov.io charges 1 credit for an email with an unknown status, and Lusha's API charges at least 1 credit per request.
- Eight of the nine list an MCP connection. The Enrich.chat MCP server needs no key, and the first 10 lookups a day need no signup. The others connect to a vendor account.
- Apollo and Prospeo price per seat or user, so five people cost $325 and $245 a month on their entry plans. 500 work emails a month need 5,000 credits on Enrich.chat, which fits the Growth plan at $29 a month with unlimited seats.
- A catch-all domain accepts mail for any address, so no tool can confirm a mailbox there. Hunter advises keeping accept-all addresses to 2% to 5% of a list.

## The verdict

For people who put email lookups inside AI agents and apps, or who want unlimited seats on a low monthly plan, **Enrich.chat** is the pick: one prompt, no annual contract, and credits spent only on the emails and mobiles it finds. For browser prospecting, verified-only billing or a full sales app, one of the other eight tools fits better.

- Best for AI agents and apps: Enrich.chat (No key to start, MCP server, plans from $29)
- Best for browser prospecting: Hunter (Extensions, sequences and a free plan)
- Best for verified-only billing: Anymail Finder (Credits spent only on verified emails, from $29)
- Best for emails plus phones: Findymail (Phone finder on every plan, from $99)
- Best all-in-one sales app: Apollo (Database, sequences and calls from $49 a seat)

## The 9 best email finder tools, ranked

Ranked for people who want a work email from a name and a company, in an app or an AI agent, weighing price transparency, what a miss costs, contract terms and agent access. Prices come from each vendor's own site, checked October 15, 2026.

### Enrich.chat

Contact and company data for AI agents and apps. Pass a name and a company website, or a LinkedIn URL, and get a work email with a verified, catch_all or unknown status, plus a mobile when you ask for one.

- Best for: AI agents, apps and small teams that want emails without per-seat fees or an annual contract
- Pricing: Monthly plans from $29: 10 credits per work email, 250 per mobile, 5 per tech stack or profile
- Strength: A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits
- Strength: Unlimited seats on every plan, billed monthly, cancel anytime
- Strength: Each work email comes back as verified, catch_all or unknown, and each mobile with a line type
- Strength: A keyless MCP server and a plain HTTPS API, and a LinkedIn URL works as a lookup key without logging in to LinkedIn
- Watch out for: It needs the company website, not its name, and has no bulk upload or standalone verifier for emails from other tools
- Watch out for: No Chrome extension, sequencer or dialer, and SDKs are still planned

### Hunter

Email finder, verifier and domain search with a B2B database search, cold-email sequences and browser extensions. A name and a company go in; a confidence score and, when the address is public, up to 20 source pages come out.

## What is the best email finder tool in 2026?

No single email finder wins every job. Pick [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) for AI agents and apps, [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing) for prospecting in the browser, [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) for bulk lists billed only on verified emails, and [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) when you want a database and outreach in one app.

An email finder turns a name and a company website into a work email address. We compared nine that publish their prices on their own sites, and we left out tools that sell contact data only by quote. Our guides to the [best B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/), the [best sales intelligence tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-sales-intelligence-tools/) and the [best LinkedIn email finders](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-linkedin-email-finder/) cover those, and [how to find someone's email](https://enrich.chat/blog/how-to-find-someones-email/) covers the manual methods.

We judged each tool on four things: what it charges, what it charges when it finds nothing, how it labels risky addresses, and how an AI agent connects to it. The comparison table at the top of this page lists all nine side by side.

## How does an email finder find and check an address?

An email finder builds the address a company most likely uses for a person, then checks whether the company's mail server accepts it. The reply decides the status, and Figure 1 shows the three answers most tools return.

[Hunter's guide](https://hunter.io/email-verification-guide/how-email-verification-works/) describes the check as asking the recipient's mail server whether it will accept mail for the address. If the server accepts it, the address is valid. If the server rejects it, the address is invalid. If the server says yes to every address, the result is accept-all. Some servers also block the check for a while, which leaves the result unknown.

**Figure 1: From a name and a domain to an email status.** A name and a company domain go into an email finder. It builds the address, asks the company mail server whether the mailbox exists, and reads the reply. A server that accepts the mailbox gives a valid result, which Hunter calls valid and Enrich.chat calls verified, and carries low risk. A server that accepts any address gives a catch-all result, called accept_all by Hunter and catch_all by Enrich.chat, and carries higher risk. A server that gives no clear reply gives an unknown result that should be checked again.

*How most email finders reach a status. The mail server check follows [Hunter's guide to email verification](https://hunter.io/email-verification-guide/how-email-verification-works/), and the Hunter labels come from its [API documentation](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2). Addresses a server rejects are invalid and are not shown. Enrich.chat's labels are documented in [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).*

The check cannot always settle the question. [RFC 5321](https://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc5321.html), the SMTP standard, notes that some servers do not check a recipient until after the message text arrives, and then report a failure in a later bounce message. So a valid result lowers the risk of a bounce but does not remove it.

The tools name results differently. Hunter's [API](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2) returns valid, accept_all or unknown. Enrich.chat returns `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`. [Snov.io's API](https://snov.io/api) returns valid or unknown with a reason, and Catchall is one of the reasons. Our free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/) tests a domain, and [email address formats](https://enrich.chat/blog/email-address-formats/) explains the patterns a finder starts from.

## How much do email finder tools cost?

Entry plans billed monthly start at $29 on Enrich.chat and $29 on [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing), and reach $99 on [Findymail](https://www.findymail.com/pricing), checked October 15, 2026. A better measure is how many emails each plan buys, so Figure 2 divides each entry plan's price by the emails its credits cover.

**Figure 2: Pro-rated cost per 1,000 work emails on each tool's entry plan.** Bar chart of the entry plan price divided by the work emails its credits cover, per 1,000 emails, checked October 15, 2026. Enrich.chat costs $2.90 on the Growth plan. Hunter and Prospeo cost $24.50, Apollo $26.00, Snov.io $39.00, Voila Norbert $49.00, Anymail Finder $72.50 and Lusha $124.75. Findymail publishes no credit count, so it has no bar.

*Plan price divided by the work emails the plan covers, per 1,000 emails, for entry plans billed monthly and checked October 15, 2026. It is pro-rated maths, not a bill: you pay the full plan price. Apollo and Prospeo prices are per seat or user. Sources: [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/), [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/pricing), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Snov.io](https://snov.io/pricing), [Voila Norbert](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/), [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [Findymail](https://www.findymail.com/pricing).*

The chart assumes every credit goes to email lookups at 1 credit each, which is how [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/api-docs/enrich-person), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits), [Snov.io](https://snov.io/api), [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) and [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) price a found email. [Voila Norbert](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/) counts leads instead. Enrich.chat spends 10 credits on a work email. Findymail publishes no credit count, so it has no bar. A small list costs more per email than the chart shows, because you pay the full plan price. This table shows the real monthly bill for 500 work emails.

*Monthly cost of 500 work emails, from published prices checked October 15, 2026. Our arithmetic. Plans billed monthly, except where noted.*

| Tool | Plan that covers it | Monthly cost | Seats |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | [Growth plan](https://enrich.chat/pricing/), 5,000 credits | $29 | Unlimited |
| Hunter | Starter, 2,000 credits | $49 | Unlimited users |
| Anymail Finder | 1,000-credit plan (the 400-credit plan is too small) | $49 | Unlimited team members |
| Snov.io | Starter, 1,000 credits | $39 | Unlimited team seats |
| Prospeo | Starter, 2,000 credits | $49 a user | Priced per user |
| Apollo | Basic, 2,500 credits | $65 a seat, or $49 billed yearly | Priced per seat |
| Lusha | Pro, 600 credits (Starter has 400) | $69.90 | 2 free seats on Pro |
| Voila Norbert | Valet, up to 1,000 leads | $49 | Unlimited team members |
| Findymail | Individual; usage is not stated | $99 | 1 seat |

Seats change the total. A team of five pays $325 a month on [Apollo Basic](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) billed monthly (5 × $65) and $245 on [Prospeo Starter](https://prospeo.io/pricing) (5 × $49), because both price per seat or user. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), [Snov.io](https://snov.io/pricing), [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) and [Voila Norbert](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/) say team members are unlimited, and so does Enrich.chat. [Findymail's plans](https://www.findymail.com/pricing) include 1, 5 or 20 seats.

Phones cost more than emails wherever they are sold. [Lusha](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) charges 5 credits for a phone against 1 for an email, [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits) charges 8, and [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/pricing) charges 10. Enrich.chat charges 250 credits for a mobile against 10 for an email. A month with 200 emails and 50 mobiles needs 14,500 credits, which fits the Growth plan at $29 a month. Our pricing guides cover [Hunter](https://enrich.chat/blog/hunter-io-pricing/), [Apollo](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) and [Lusha](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/) in more detail.

## Which email finders charge when no email is found?

Seven of the nine say a search with no result costs nothing. Snov.io charges 1 credit for an email with an unknown status, and Lusha's API takes at least 1 credit per request, even when no results come back.

*What each vendor says costs credits and what is free, from its own pages, checked October 15, 2026.*

| Tool | What costs credits | What is free |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | A match: 10 credits for a work email | A lookup that finds nothing: 0 credits |
| Hunter | 1 credit per email found ([pricing](https://hunter.io/pricing)) | No email found ([API docs](https://hunter.io/api-documentation/v2)) |
| Anymail Finder | 1 credit per verified email, 2 for a decision maker ([pricing](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing)) | Nothing found, and risky or unverified results; repeats within 30 days |
| Findymail | 1 finder credit per verified email on credit plans ([API docs](https://app.findymail.com/docs/)) | Unsuccessful searches ([API page](https://www.findymail.com/api/email-finder/)) |
| Prospeo | 1 credit per email, 10 per mobile ([API docs](https://prospeo.io/api-docs/enrich-person)) | No match, and the same record within 90 days |
| Apollo | 1 credit per email, 8 per phone; only emails it can verify ([credits page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits)) | API: 0 credits when nothing credit-consuming is found ([API docs](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment)) |
| Voila Norbert | A successful find ([pricing FAQ](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/)) | A search that finds nothing |
| Snov.io | 1 credit for each email with a valid or unknown status ([API docs](https://snov.io/api)) | A domain search with no results |
| Lusha | Email 1 credit, phone 5; API at least 1 credit per request ([credits guide](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted)) | Re-viewing a revealed contact; searching on the platform |

The gap matters most on messy lists. Anymail Finder says it runs extra checks on catch-all domains and charges only when it reaches a verified result, and it says it credits back a verified email that bounces, after review. Snov.io's docs list Catchall as a reason for an unknown status, and an unknown status costs a credit. Hunter charges for each email found and returns accept-all results with a score. A bounced send is the real cost of a bad address: see our guide to [email bounce rate](https://enrich.chat/blog/email-bounce-rate/).

## Which email finder tools work inside AI agents?

Eight of the nine list an MCP connection, and only Enrich.chat's needs no account for the first 10 lookups a day. Voila Norbert lists none on its pricing and API pages. The table shows what each vendor says you need first.

*How an agent connects to each tool, from the vendors' own pages, checked October 15, 2026.*

| Tool | How an agent connects | What you need first |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp`, or one prompt that reads [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) | Nothing for the first 10 lookups a day |
| Hunter | [MCP server](https://hunter.io/mcp) at `mcp.hunter.io/mcp`, included on all plans | A free Hunter account, then an API key or one-click OAuth |
| Anymail Finder | [MCP server](https://help.anymailfinder.com/en/article/use-anymail-finder-from-claude-chatgpt-cursor-and-other-ai-assistants-mcp-43m6af/) at `api.anymailfinder.com/mcp` | A sign-in to an Anymail Finder account, and credits |
| Findymail | API and MCP access listed on [every plan](https://www.findymail.com/pricing) | An account; setup steps are not on the pricing page |
| Prospeo | [Hosted MCP server](https://prospeo.io/mcp) at `mcp.prospeo.io` | A Prospeo account, with an API key or OAuth, and credits |
| Snov.io | [Remote MCP server](https://snov.io/mcp), with MCP access listed from Starter | A paid Starter plan or above |
| Apollo | [MCP server](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) at `mcp.apollo.io/mcp` over OAuth | An active Apollo account and credits |
| Lusha | [MCP server](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/mcp/lusha-model-context-protocol-mcp-server), with OAuth in Claude, ChatGPT and Codex | A Lusha account and credits |
| Voila Norbert | [API](https://www.voilanorbert.com/api/) only | An API token |

To use Enrich.chat, add the MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp` to ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or VS Code, or paste a prompt that sends your agent to [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md). The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) lists the steps. A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. To go past the free lookups, log in at [enrich.chat/account](https://enrich.chat/account/) with your email and a one-time code, pick a plan and copy your key from that page. For more agent-ready tools, see the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/) and the [contact data for AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) page.

## Which email finder should you choose?

Choose by the first job you need done, then check price and contract terms. Figure 3 matches nine common jobs to the tool whose own pages say it covers them.

**Figure 3: Which email finder fits your first job.** A decision tree from your first need to a tool. Emails inside an AI agent point to Enrich.chat. Emails while you browse sites point to Hunter. Paying only for verified emails points to Anymail Finder. Verified emails plus phones point to Findymail. Searching by filter and then enriching points to Prospeo. Finding, verifying and sending emails points to Snov.io. A database with sequences and calls points to Apollo. Phone reveals one at a time point to Lusha. A simple capped monthly plan points to Voila Norbert.

*Our recommendation by first job, based on what each vendor says on its own pages: [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing), [Findymail](https://www.findymail.com/pricing), [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/pricing), [Snov.io](https://snov.io/pricing), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [Voila Norbert](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/). Enrich.chat's agent access is described in [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).*

Many teams use two tools, one to find the address and one to send. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), [Snov.io](https://snov.io/pricing) and [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) include sequences. The pricing pages of Anymail Finder, Findymail and Prospeo list none, and Enrich.chat has no sequencer, so those four pair with a sender you already use. Our guides to [lead generation tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-lead-generation-tools/) and [waterfall enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/waterfall-enrichment/) show how teams chain providers when one tool misses.

## What should you check before you buy an email finder?

Check five things: what a miss and a maybe cost, how the tool treats catch-all domains, seats and credit expiry, how it performs on your own records, and the rules for sending. Each can change the real price more than the list price does.

1. **What a miss and a maybe cost.** [Snov.io's API docs](https://snov.io/api) charge 1 credit for an email with a valid or unknown status, while [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) charges only for verified emails.
2. **How it treats catch-all domains.** [Hunter's accept-all guide](https://hunter.io/email-verification-guide/accept-all-catch-all/) describes domains set up to accept mail for any address, even a mailbox that does not exist. In Hunter's own test of 100 accept-all and 100 valid addresses, 27% of the accept-all group bounced against 1% of the valid group. Hunter suggests keeping accept-all addresses to 2% to 5% of a list. Our [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/) shows whether a domain accepts everything.
3. **Seats and credit expiry.** [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/pricing) price per seat or user. Credits do not roll over on [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), Apollo or Prospeo, and [Snov.io](https://snov.io/pricing) credits expire every 30 days unless you are on an annual plan or have plan renewal on. [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) credits roll over while you stay subscribed. Enrich.chat credits renew with each monthly payment and do not roll over.
4. **How it performs on your records.** Vendors publish their own accuracy and coverage claims, each from a different sample and method, so this page repeats none of them. Run 100 to 200 contacts whose emails you already know through each tool's free tier or trial, and score every result. Our guide to [B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/) explains a blind sample. People change jobs, so repeat the test before you renew: see [B2B data decay](https://enrich.chat/blog/b2b-data-decay/).
5. **The rules for sending.** [Google tells bulk senders](https://support.google.com/a/answer/81126) to keep spam rates in Postmaster Tools below 0.30%. The FTC says [CAN-SPAM makes no exception for business-to-business email](https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business). In the UK, the [ICO says](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/business-to-business-marketing/) the email rules in PECR do not apply to corporate subscribers, but sole traders and some partnerships count as individuals, and a named work address is personal data under UK GDPR. See [cold email data](https://enrich.chat/blog/cold-email/). This is not legal advice.

## When is Hunter, Apollo or another tool the better choice?

Another tool is the better choice when you need browser prospecting, outreach, a phone-first workflow or a capped plan that Enrich.chat does not offer.

- **Hunter** when you prospect in the browser and want proof. Its Email Finder returns a confidence score and public sources, and its [pricing page](https://hunter.io/pricing) lists browser extensions and sequences. See [Hunter pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/hunter-io-pricing/) and [Hunter alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/hunter-io/).
- **Anymail Finder** when you run bulk lists and want to be billed only for verified results. Its [developer page](https://anymailfinder.com/developers) lists bulk jobs up to 100,000 rows, and credits roll over while you stay subscribed.
- **Findymail** when you want a phone finder and verified-only emails on a fixed monthly plan, and you are fine without published usage numbers. Its [pricing page](https://www.findymail.com/pricing) lists a bulk finder and a Chrome extension on every plan.
- **Prospeo** when you want to search by filter and enrich in one tool. [Prospeo's Starter plan](https://prospeo.io/pricing) is $49 a user, and browsing search results is free.
- **Snov.io** when you want to find, verify and send from one subscription. Its [Starter plan](https://snov.io/pricing) lists campaigns, a sales CRM, two prospecting extensions and unlimited team seats.
- **Apollo** when reps want a database, sequences and calls in one seat. Its [Free plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) lists API access and the Gmail and Salesforce extensions. See [Apollo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) and [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/).
- **Lusha** when a rep reveals phone numbers one contact at a time. Its [credits guide](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) prices a phone at 5 credits on the platform and the extension. See [Lusha pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/) and [Lusha alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/lusha/).
- **Voila Norbert** when you want a simple capped plan. Its [pricing page](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/) lists a Chrome extension and bulk CSV search, with unlimited team members.

Enrich.chat has two honest gaps. It needs the company website, not its name, and it has no bulk upload or standalone verifier for emails from other tools. It also has no Chrome extension, sequencer or dialer, and its SDKs are still planned. If those matter more than agent access or unlimited seats, pick a tool from the list above.

## How do you find emails for a list with an AI agent?

Paste a prompt into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor or Codex, and the agent calls Enrich.chat once for each row. Follow these steps.

1. Add the MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp`, or paste the prompt below. No SDK is needed.
2. Give the agent each person's name and company website. If you hold a LinkedIn URL instead, it can pass that.
3. Ask it to mark misses as not found and never guess an address. Each work email comes back as `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`.
4. Read the total `credits_used`, and treat `catch_all` and `unknown` as risky.

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the work email for each person in this list from their name and company website: [paste rows]. Return each email with its status, mark misses as not found, never guess an address, and report the total credits_used.
```

For single lookups, try the free [email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/email-finder/). For code, the [email finder API](https://enrich.chat/api/email-finder/) is one GET request. No-code builders can follow the [n8n lead enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/n8n-lead-enrichment/) guide.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the best email finder tool?

It depends on how you work. For AI agents and apps, [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) gives you 10 lookups a day with no signup and plans from $29 a month. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing) suits browser prospecting from $49 a month, and [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) bills only for verified emails from $29 a month. [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) adds sequences from $49 a seat a month billed yearly. Run 100 contacts you know through your top two before you pay.

### Is there a free email finder?

Yes, several tools have free tiers, though each is capped. Enrich.chat gives 10 lookups a day with no signup. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing) gives 50 credits a month, [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/pricing) 100, [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) 40 and [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) 75 a seat. [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing) offers a 7-day trial with 100 credits, as of October 15, 2026. Our free [email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/email-finder/) is a quick place to start.

### How much does an email finder cost?

Entry plans billed monthly start at $29 on Enrich.chat and $29 on [Anymail Finder](https://anymailfinder.com/pricing), and reach $99 on [Findymail](https://www.findymail.com/pricing). [Hunter](https://hunter.io/pricing), [Prospeo](https://prospeo.io/pricing) and [Voila Norbert](https://www.voilanorbert.com/pricing/) start at $49. 500 work emails a month need 5,000 credits on Enrich.chat, which fits the Growth plan at $29 a month. Prices checked October 15, 2026; see [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

### Do email finders charge when they cannot find an email?

Most do not. Enrich.chat, Hunter, Anymail Finder, Prospeo, Voila Norbert, Findymail and Apollo's API say a search with no result is free. [Snov.io](https://snov.io/api) charges 1 credit for an email with an unknown status, and [Lusha's API](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) takes at least 1 credit per request, even with no results. Check what a tool bills for risky addresses before you buy, because those are the emails most likely to bounce.

### How accurate are email finders?

No tool can confirm every mailbox. On a catch-all domain the server accepts any address, and [Hunter's guide](https://hunter.io/email-verification-guide/how-email-verification-works/) says even valid addresses can still bounce. Vendors publish their own accuracy claims from their own samples, so this page repeats none of them. Run 100 to 200 contacts whose emails you know through two tools' free tiers, score every result, and watch your bounce rate after the first send.

### Can I use an email finder inside ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes. Eight of the nine tools here list an MCP connection. The Enrich.chat MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp needs no key, and the first 10 lookups a day need no signup. [Hunter](https://hunter.io/mcp) connects with a key or OAuth from a free account, [Anymail Finder](https://help.anymailfinder.com/en/article/use-anymail-finder-from-claude-chatgpt-cursor-and-other-ai-assistants-mcp-43m6af/) with a sign-in, and [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) with OAuth. See the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/).
