# Data enrichment companies in 2026: who sells what, what it costs and who it suits

We read ten companies' own pricing pages and docs on October 16, 2026, then sorted them by what they sell: their own database, a waterfall, CRM enrichment, a developer API or access built for AI agents.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 16, 2026.

**Short answer:** Data enrichment companies fall into five types by what they sell: own databases (ZoomInfo, Apollo, Cognism, Lusha, Dun & Bradstreet), waterfalls (Clay, FullEnrich), CRM enrichment (HubSpot), developer APIs (People Data Labs) and agent-ready services (Enrich.chat). Entry prices run from free tiers and [HubSpot's $20 seat](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) to quote-only contracts. ZoomInfo sales plans and Cognism publish no prices, and Dun & Bradstreet prices only its Hoovers Essentials entry plan.

## Key takeaways

- Data enrichment companies sell in five ways: their own database, a waterfall of providers, enrichment inside a CRM, a developer API, or access built for AI agents. The type decides how you work and how you pay.
- The lowest published paid plans on October 16, 2026, billed monthly: FullEnrich Pro $29, Enrich.chat Growth $29, Lusha Starter $49.90, Apollo Basic $65 a seat, People Data Labs Person Pro $98 and Clay Launch $185. ZoomInfo sales plans and Cognism publish none, and Dun & Bradstreet prices only its Hoovers Essentials entry plan.
- Nine of the ten companies list MCP access for AI assistants. People Data Labs is the one we found without it, and most of the others need an account and a sign-in first.
- Free ways in: Enrich.chat gives 10 API lookups a day with no signup, Apollo 75 credits a seat a month, Lusha 40 credits, Clay 100 Data Credits and FullEnrich 50 trial credits.
- Check the miss rule: Clay and FullEnrich charge nothing when they find nothing, while Lusha's API uses at least 1 credit on a request with no results.

## The verdict

There is no single best data enrichment company, only a best type for each job. For contact data inside an AI agent or an app, **Enrich.chat** is the pick: one prompt, a status on every field, and credits spent only on matches.

- Best for AI agents and apps: Enrich.chat (One prompt in any agent, credits for matches only)
- Best for custom workflows: Clay (More than 150 data providers in a table you control)
- Best database with outreach: Apollo (Data, sequences and a dialer in one seat)
- Best for company IDs: Dun & Bradstreet (D-U-N-S matching and licensed company insights)
- Best inside HubSpot: HubSpot (Included with paid seats, no HubSpot Credits used)

## The ten companies, grouped by what they sell

Agent-ready and developer API companies come first, then waterfalls, then own-database companies, then CRM enrichment. Prices come from each company's own site, checked October 16, 2026. Where a price is hidden, we say so.

### Enrich.chat

Agent-ready. Contact and company data for AI agents and apps: add the MCP server to ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, or call a plain HTTPS API, and get a work email, a mobile or a company profile back.

- Best for: AI agents, apps and teams that want credits spent only on matches, with unlimited seats
- Pricing: Monthly plans from $29 for 100,000 credits: 10 credits per work email, 250 per mobile, 5 per profile or tech stack
- Strength: A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits
- Strength: Every email has a status and every mobile a line type
- Strength: Works in any agent through the MCP server or one prompt, and the free tier needs no account
- Strength: Takes a LinkedIn URL as a lookup key and never logs in to LinkedIn
- Watch out for: No visual table builder, sequencing, dialer or Chrome extension: you bring your own outreach tool
- Watch out for: A mobile costs 250 credits, 25 times an email
- Watch out for: No SDKs yet, though they are planned

### People Data Labs

Developer API. Person, company and IP enrichment APIs that products call to add fields to records, with SDKs in five languages.

- Best for: Products and data teams that need full person or company records in code, or bulk data files

- Strength: SDKs in Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Go and Rust
- Strength: Enterprise adds data license feeds
- Watch out for: Contact data needs the Pro plan: the Free plan hides emails and phone numbers

- Best for: GTM engineers and RevOps teams who want to design the workflow, the provider order and the write-back rules

- Pricing: Sales plans by quote: [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) says price depends on licenses, credit use and features, and [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median contract at $33,500 a year. GTM AI credits cost $0.38 each at the $1,000 tier, with top-ups from $20 ([GTM AI pricing](https://gtm.ai/pricing), checked October 16, 2026)

### Dun & Bradstreet

Own database. D&B Hoovers for sales intelligence, and D&B Connect, which matches your records to its D&B Commercial Graph, adds a D-U-N-S Number and enriches them with the insights you license.

- Best for: Larger companies that need company hierarchies, financials and one business ID across systems
- Pricing: No price on the [D&B Hoovers](https://www.dnb.com/products/marketing-sales/dnb-hoovers.html) or [D&B Connect](https://www.dnb.com/en-ca/products/dnb-connect.html) pages: you license the insights you need (checked October 16, 2026)
- Strength: Matches records to a D-U-N-S Number, so duplicates can be merged across systems
- Strength: A Salesforce module as well as API and batch upload
- Strength: An MCP connection for D&B Hoovers

## What are the five types of data enrichment companies?

Data enrichment companies add missing fields, such as a work email, a mobile number or a company's size, to records you already hold. They differ in what they sell and how you use it. We sorted ten of them into five types, because the type decides how you work and how you pay.

**Figure 1: The five types of data enrichment companies, by what they sell.** Five columns. Own-database companies, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Cognism, Lusha and Dun and Bradstreet, work in a web app and are paid by seats, credits or a quote. Waterfall services, Clay and FullEnrich, work in a table or bulk job and are paid in credits on a plan. Inside-the-CRM enrichment, HubSpot and D and B Connect, works in your CRM and comes with CRM seats. Developer API companies, People Data Labs, work in your code and are paid in records or credits. Agent-ready services, Enrich.chat and ZoomInfo GTM AI, work in your AI agent and are paid in credits on a plan.

*The ten companies on this page, sorted by what they sell. D&B is Dun & Bradstreet, and GTM AI is ZoomInfo's self-serve data service. Sources: [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [Dun & Bradstreet](https://www.dnb.com/en-ca/products/dnb-connect.html), [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing), [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing.md), [HubSpot](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment), [People Data Labs](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person), [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) and [Enrich.chat agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md), checked October 16, 2026.*

- **Own database: ZoomInfo, Apollo, Cognism, Lusha and Dun & Bradstreet.** You search the company's database, reveal contacts with credits, and often email or call from the same app. You pay by seat, by credit or by quote.
- **Waterfall: Clay and FullEnrich.** These send a lookup to many data providers in turn until one returns a result. [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing) lets you set the order yourself. [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing.md) runs a managed waterfall across 25+ sources.
- **Inside the CRM: HubSpot, and D&B Connect for Salesforce.** Enrichment fills fields on records you already store in the CRM.
- **Developer API: People Data Labs.** Your code sends a lookup key, such as an email or a name, and gets a record back as JSON.
- **Agent-ready: Enrich.chat and ZoomInfo's GTM AI.** These are built to be called by an AI agent, through an MCP server or a plain API.

The types overlap. Apollo, Lusha and Cognism also sell APIs, and nine of the ten companies here list MCP access. Use the type to see where a company starts, not where it ends. For the basics, read [what data enrichment is](https://enrich.chat/blog/what-is-data-enrichment/).

## What should you know about each type of data enrichment company?

Each type has a usual price shape and a usual risk. Own-database companies are often sold by seat or by quote, and some tie you to a contract. Waterfalls bill by result, sometimes through two meters. CRM enrichment comes with the CRM but fills fewer fields. APIs need code, and agent-ready services need an agent.

### Own-database companies: ZoomInfo, Apollo, Cognism, Lusha and Dun & Bradstreet

These companies sell access to records in their own database, so you pay for the data and the app. [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) publish plan prices. [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) says its price depends on licenses, credit use and features. [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median ZoomInfo contract at $33,500 a year, in a range from $7,240 to $156,042 across 1,577 purchases. [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) show no prices, and [Dun & Bradstreet](https://www.dnb.com/products/marketing-sales/dnb-hoovers.html) shows none on its Hoovers and Connect pages (see [D&B Hoovers pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/dun-and-bradstreet-hoovers-pricing/) for its one published entry plan).

The main risk is the contract. [Cognism's terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) renew an order for the longer of its first term or a year unless you give 60 days' notice. [Apollo's annual billing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) commits you to 12 months. Our guides cover [Apollo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/), [ZoomInfo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/), [Cognism pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/cognism-pricing/) and [Lusha pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/lusha-pricing/).

### Waterfall companies: Clay and FullEnrich

Waterfall companies send each lookup to many data providers in turn and charge you for what comes back. [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing) lists more than 150 data partners and lets you set the order and the rules. [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing.md) charges 1 credit per work email and 10 per mobile.

Both charge nothing when they find nothing. The difference is the meters. Clay bills Data Credits for data and Actions for platform work, and Actions reset each billing cycle. FullEnrich uses one credit pool, and credits roll over for 3 months on monthly plans. See our guides to [Clay pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/clay-pricing/) and [FullEnrich pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/fullenrich-pricing/), or the [Clay integration](https://enrich.chat/integrations/clay/).

### CRM-native companies: HubSpot and D&B Connect for Salesforce

[HubSpot's enrichment](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment) comes with its paid plans, uses no HubSpot Credits and matches contacts on first name, last name and work email. [HubSpot's property list](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/enrich-your-contact-and-company-data) shows what it fills: job title, seniority, location and LinkedIn URL on contacts, and industry, employee range and web technologies on companies. It has no contact email or mobile number.

HubSpot [announced on November 1, 2023](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1404655/000095017023057150/hubs-ex99_1.htm) that it had agreed to buy Clearbit. For Salesforce, [D&B Connect](https://www.dnb.com/en-ca/products/dnb-connect.html) has a module that matches records to a D-U-N-S Number and adds the insights you license. If your CRM also needs emails and mobiles, add a second source. See how to [enrich HubSpot contacts](https://enrich.chat/integrations/hubspot/) or [enrich Salesforce records](https://enrich.chat/integrations/salesforce/) with Enrich.chat, and our guide to [CRM data enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/crm-data-enrichment/).

### Developer API companies: People Data Labs

API companies sell lookups to products. [People Data Labs' Person Enrichment API](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api) takes a name, an email, a phone number or a profile URL, and its docs say it charges per match. Its [Person Pro plan](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) starts at $98 a month for 350 credits, and its [Company Pro plan](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/company) at $100 a month for 1,000 records. [Its docs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/) list SDKs in five languages but no MCP server.

Apollo, FullEnrich, Lusha and Enrich.chat also have APIs. Compare their keys, limits and credit rules in our guide to [B2B data APIs](https://enrich.chat/blog/b2b-data-apis-compared/), or see the [best company data APIs](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-company-data-apis/).

### Agent-ready companies: Enrich.chat and ZoomInfo's GTM AI

Agent-ready services start from the AI agent, not from a person at a desk. [ZoomInfo's GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) offers search and lookup for free, 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits at signup, and credit top-ups from $20, through an API, an MCP server or a command line. Enrich.chat is our product. Its MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp needs no key, and an agent can also read enrich.chat/agents.md and start. The first 10 lookups a day are free with no signup, and plans start at $29 a month. See [how Enrich.chat works with AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) and our list of the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/).

## Which data enrichment companies work with AI agents?

Nine of the ten companies list MCP access, and most need an account and a sign-in first. People Data Labs is the exception we found: its docs list REST endpoints and SDKs but no MCP server.

| Company | AI agent access | What you need first |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Enrich.chat | Remote MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp, or one prompt that points the agent to enrich.chat/agents.md | Nothing to start: the free tier needs no account |
| Apollo | [Connectors](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Replit and Cursor, and a plug-in for Codex | An Apollo account with credits |
| ZoomInfo | [MCP](https://www.zoominfo.com/solutions/zoominfo-mcp) for Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Replit; GTM AI adds an API and a command line | A ZoomInfo sign-in through OAuth |
| Cognism | [Remote MCP server](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/mcp-server) for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other clients | A Cognism account; search tokens and credits apply |
| Lusha | MCP for Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients, listed in its [plan comparison](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) | A Lusha account and credits |
| Clay | [Clay MCP](https://www.clay.com/mcp) for Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Copilot and Glean | A Clay account and plan |
| FullEnrich | MCP server listed on Pro and the trial, on its [pricing page](https://fullenrich.com/pricing) | A FullEnrich account and credits |
| Dun & Bradstreet | An MCP connection into [D&B Hoovers](https://www.dnb.com/products/marketing-sales/dnb-hoovers.html) | A D&B Hoovers license; a free trial is by request |
| HubSpot | [Remote MCP server](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/build-with-ai/remote-mcp-server) that reads and writes CRM records over OAuth | A HubSpot account |
| People Data Labs | None listed in its docs | An API key, called from your own code |

An MCP server is only the door. What the agent can do behind it depends on your plan and credits. Our guide to the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/) compares them in more detail. To try Enrich.chat from your own agent, paste this:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to test enrichment on these rows: add a work email and a company profile to each one, keep my columns, add an email_status column, mark misses as not found, and tell me how many matched and the total credits_used: [paste rows]
```

## How much does it cost to start with each data enrichment company?

The lowest published paid prices run from $20 for a HubSpot seat to $185 a month for Clay Launch. ZoomInfo's sales plans and Cognism publish none, and Dun & Bradstreet prices only its Hoovers Essentials entry plan. The amounts buy different things, so read what each includes before you compare the numbers.

**Figure 2: Lowest published paid plan or top-up for each data enrichment company.** Bar chart of the lowest published paid price a month on monthly billing, checked October 16, 2026. HubSpot Starter Core Seat is $20 a seat, ZoomInfo GTM AI top-ups start at $20, FullEnrich Pro is $29 for 500 credits, Enrich.chat Growth is $29 for 100,000 credits, Lusha Starter is $49.90 for 400 credits, Apollo Basic is $65 a seat for 2,500 credits, People Data Labs Person Pro is $98 for 350 credits and Clay Launch is $185. ZoomInfo sales plans and Cognism publish no prices. Dun and Bradstreet is not charted: it prices only its Hoovers Essentials entry plan, a different product from the others.

*What the lowest paid entry costs a month on monthly billing. The amounts buy different things: HubSpot and Apollo prices are per seat, and Clay also meters Actions. Annual billing costs less at several vendors. - **Quotes:** ZoomInfo sales plans, Cognism and Dun & Bradstreet (apart from its Hoovers Essentials entry plan). ZoomInfo's GTM AI is the exception, with top-ups from $20.

Annual billing costs less at several companies. Apollo Basic is $49 a seat, Lusha Starter $37.45, Clay Launch $167 and FullEnrich Pro $26 a month when billed yearly. Enrich.chat is billed monthly with no annual contract: Growth is $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000, and Pro $299 for 2,500,000, all with unlimited seats. Credits renew each month and do not roll over. ## How do you choose between data enrichment companies?

Start with your first job, then check four terms. The job points to a type of company. The terms decide what you really pay.

**Figure 3: Which type of data enrichment company fits your first job.** A decision map from a first job to a type of company and then to a company. Contacts inside an AI agent point to agent-ready services and Enrich.chat. Full records in your own code point to a developer API and People Data Labs. A table you design points to a waterfall and Clay. A waterfall with no table to build points to FullEnrich. Data plus outreach in one seat points to an own-database company and Apollo. Enterprise intent data points to ZoomInfo, European B2B data to Cognism, and company IDs and financials to Dun and Bradstreet. Fields on HubSpot records point to HubSpot enrichment inside the CRM.

*Our suggestion by first job, based on what each company says on its own pages: [People Data Labs](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person), [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing), [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing.md), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing), [Cognism](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), [Dun & Bradstreet](https://www.dnb.com/en-ca/products/dnb-connect.html), [HubSpot](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment) and [Enrich.chat agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).*

1. **The miss rule.** Ask whether a lookup that finds nothing uses credits. [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing) and [FullEnrich](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/credit) charge nothing for a miss, and [People Data Labs](https://docs.peopledatalabs.com/docs/reference-person-enrichment-api) charges per match. [Lusha's API](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) uses at least 1 credit on a request with no results. A lookup that returns found: false uses 0 Enrich.chat credits.
2. **A status on every field.** A found email is not a valid email. [FullEnrich's docs](https://docs.fullenrich.com/api/v2/general/credit) say deliverable, high-probability and catch-all emails all use a credit. Enrich.chat marks each work email verified, catch_all or unknown, and each mobile with a line type. Treat any contact, from any company, as a strong lead and not a guarantee. Test risky domains with the free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/).
3. **The contract.** Ask about seats, credit expiry and renewal. [Apollo's credits](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) expire at the end of each billing cycle, and its annual plans commit you to 12 months. Enrich.chat plans are billed monthly with no annual contract.
4. **Opt-outs and compliance.** HubSpot, for example, links an [opt-out form](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment) for people who want out of its commercial dataset. Anyone can opt out of Enrich.chat at [enrich.chat/opt-out/](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/), and requests are processed within 15 days. You stay responsible for TCPA, CAN-SPAM and GDPR rules. This is general information, not legal advice.

## When is another company a better choice than Enrich.chat?

Choose another company when you need a table builder, outreach in the same app, enterprise intent data, a business ID across systems or enrichment that never leaves your CRM. Each pick below has a real edge, based on its own pages as of October 16, 2026.

| If you mainly need | Better choice | Why |
| --- | --- | --- |
| A workflow with the provider order you design | Clay | [More than 150 data partners](https://www.clay.com/pricing), Claygent and unlimited seats; see [Clay alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/clay/) |
| Waterfall coverage with no table to build | FullEnrich or BetterContact | A managed waterfall, with nothing charged on a miss |
| Data, sequences and a dialer in one seat | Apollo | [Unlimited sequences and a US dialer](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) on Basic; see [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/) |
| Enterprise intent and org data | ZoomInfo | A [Streaming Intent add-on](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) and enterprise licenses; see [ZoomInfo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/zoominfo/) |
| European B2B data and mobiles | Cognism | [On-demand mobile verification and intent data](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) on Pro; see [Cognism alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/cognism/) |
| Quick lookups from a browser extension | Lusha | [A Chrome extension](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) and monthly billing; see [Lusha alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/lusha/) |
| Full person records or bulk data files | People Data Labs | A per-match API, plus [data license feeds](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) on Enterprise; see [People Data Labs alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/people-data-labs/) |
| Company hierarchies, financials and one business ID | Dun & Bradstreet | [D-U-N-S matching and licensed insights](https://www.dnb.com/en-ca/products/dnb-connect.html) |
| Enrichment on records already in HubSpot | HubSpot | [Included with paid plans](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment), with no HubSpot Credits used; see [Breeze Intelligence](https://enrich.chat/blog/hubspot-breeze-intelligence/) |

Enrich.chat has real gaps. It has no visual table builder, sequencing, dialer or Chrome extension, so you bring your own spreadsheet, CRM or outreach tool. A mobile costs 250 credits, 25 times an email. And it has no SDKs yet, so you call the plain HTTPS API or the MCP server while SDKs are planned. If you need a table or a dialer now, Clay or Apollo is the better buy.

## How do you test a data enrichment company before you sign?

Run the same rows through each company you shortlist, and use rows whose answers you already know. A small test on your own list tells you more than any vendor page, including this one.

1. Pick 10 rows with a LinkedIn URL, an email or a name plus company. Include a few people who changed jobs this year.
2. Run the same rows through each company. Record the status each one gives every email and phone.
3. Count verified, catch-all and not-found results, then divide each bill by the verified results.
4. Read the terms you would sign: seats, credit expiry, contract length and opt-out handling.

With Enrich.chat you can run step 2 without an account, using the prompt above. When you reach the daily limit, the API returns a 402 `free_limit_reached` with an upgrade link to your [account page](https://enrich.chat/account/). There you log in with your email and a one-time code, pick Growth, Scale or Pro, and pay at checkout. To check one profile in the browser first, use the free [LinkedIn email and phone finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/). For the account and data terms, see our [terms](https://enrich.chat/terms/) and the [privacy notice](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/#privacy).

## Frequently asked questions

### Who are the top data enrichment companies?

The best-known data enrichment companies in 2026 fall into five types. ZoomInfo, Apollo, Cognism, Lusha and Dun & Bradstreet sell their own databases. Clay and FullEnrich run waterfalls across many providers. HubSpot builds enrichment into its CRM, People Data Labs sells a developer API, and Enrich.chat and ZoomInfo's GTM AI are built for AI agents. Pick by how you work, not by brand. Our guide to the [best data enrichment tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-data-enrichment-tools/) ranks them.

### What is a data enrichment company?

A data enrichment company adds missing fields to records you already hold. You send a name, an email, a domain or a LinkedIn URL, and get back details such as a work email, a mobile number, a job title or a company's size. Some own the data, some route your lookup through many providers, and some fill fields inside your CRM. Our guide to [what data enrichment is](https://enrich.chat/blog/what-is-data-enrichment/) covers the basics.

### Which data enrichment companies have a free plan?

Several do. Enrich.chat gives 10 API lookups a day with no signup. [Apollo's free plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) has 75 credits a seat a month, [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) 40 credits a month, [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing) 100 Data Credits and [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing.md) 50 trial credits. [People Data Labs](https://www.peopledatalabs.com/pricing/person) gives 100 records a month with emails and phones hidden, and [ZoomInfo GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) gives 1,000 data credits at signup. We checked each on October 16, 2026.

### Which data enrichment companies work with ChatGPT or Claude?

Nine of the ten on our map list MCP access: Enrich.chat, [Apollo](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp), [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/solutions/zoominfo-mcp), [Cognism](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/mcp-server), Lusha, [Clay](https://www.clay.com/mcp), FullEnrich, Dun & Bradstreet and [HubSpot](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/build-with-ai/remote-mcp-server), whose server works on CRM records. Most need an account and a sign-in. Enrich.chat has an MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp with no key: add it from the [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/), or paste a prompt that points your agent to enrich.chat/agents.md.

### What is the difference between a data provider and a waterfall company?

A data provider such as [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) or [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) sells records from its own database. A waterfall company such as [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing) or [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/pricing.md) sends each lookup to several providers in turn and stops when one returns a result. A waterfall tries more sources, but you pay for each result, and Clay adds a second meter for Actions. Read our guide to [waterfall enrichment](https://enrich.chat/blog/waterfall-enrichment/).

### Which data enrichment companies publish their prices?

Apollo, Clay, FullEnrich, Lusha and People Data Labs publish plan prices, and [HubSpot](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) lists seat prices in its product catalog. ZoomInfo's sales plans and Cognism do not, and [Dun & Bradstreet](https://enrich.chat/blog/dun-and-bradstreet-hoovers-pricing/) prices only its Hoovers Essentials entry plan. [ZoomInfo](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) says its price depends on licenses, credit use and features, and [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median contract at $33,500 a year. Enrich.chat lists every plan on its [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).
