# How to export leads from Sales Navigator: what LinkedIn allows and what it does not

LinkedIn's help pages, plans page and legal terms, read on October 16, 2026: the routes out of Sales Navigator, which plan each one needs, and what LinkedIn says about tools that promise a file.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 16, 2026.

**Short answer:** LinkedIn says Sales Navigator does not offer a way to export leads or accounts to a [CSV or XLS file](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031). The documented route out is CRM Sync with HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales or Salesforce, and it needs the Advanced Plus plan. [LinkedIn's User Agreement](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement) bans scraping software and browser plugins, and members who use them risk account restrictions.

## Key takeaways

- LinkedIn's help page says Sales Navigator does not export account and lead information to CSV or XLS. It does not name a plan that has an export.
- CRM Sync is the documented route out. It needs Advanced Plus and works with HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales and Salesforce. It sends records to a CRM, not a file.
- LinkedIn's Download your data page covers your own account. Its category list has no saved leads, and the connections file holds 1st-degree connections only.
- The Sales Navigator partner programme is closed to new applicants. Its Display Services show LinkedIn data inside partner apps without handing the data over.
- LinkedIn says scraping tools break its User Agreement. Its Subscription Agreement, dated August 17, 2026, lets it end a company's access for unauthorized scraping.

## Can you export leads from Sales Navigator to CSV or Excel?

No. LinkedIn's help article on [exporting account and lead information from Sales Navigator](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031) says LinkedIn does not currently offer a way to export that information to a CSV or XLS file. The article does not name a plan that has one. We read it on October 16, 2026, when LinkedIn showed it as last updated a year ago. LinkedIn's [release notes](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a544972) from October 2025 to September 2026 announce no export feature.

The same article points Advanced Plus customers to CRM Sync with their CRM. That is a sync, not a file. Below you will find what each route out of Sales Navigator returns, which plan it needs, what LinkedIn says about tools that promise a file, and how to get contact details once you hold a list of people.

Many forum threads and videos promise one-click exports. Most promote browser extensions or cloud services. Those are not LinkedIn features, and this guide does not explain how to use them. LinkedIn's rules on them are covered further down.

**Figure 1: Where Sales Navigator leads can go.** Sales Navigator holds lead lists of 1,000 leads, 10,000 saved leads, 50 lead and 50 account saved searches, and a search cap of 2,500 leads. From there LinkedIn documents a CRM Sync route on Advanced Plus, a partner programme closed to new partners and a download of your own connections. It offers no CSV or XLS export of leads.

## What can you do with leads inside Sales Navigator?

Inside the product you can save, group, search and watch leads, but you cannot take them out as a file. Every plan includes custom lists, alerts and room for 10,000 saved leads, according to [LinkedIn's plan table](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a104003).

- **Lead lists.** You can save up to 1,000 leads in each list and 10,000 in total, per [LinkedIn's help article](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a101025). Saving a lead also saves its company as an account.
- **Saved searches.** A saved search sends weekly emails and homepage alerts when new people or companies match. LinkedIn [allows 50 lead searches and 50 account searches](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102024).
- **Search results.** One search shows at most [2,500 lead results across 100 pages](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106030), or 1,000 account results across 40 pages.
- **Sharing.** Advanced and Advanced Plus can share lists and saved searches with teammates. Core cannot.
- **Uploads go in, not out.** Advanced and Advanced Plus can [upload an account list from a CSV file](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a1381839). LinkedIn says this works for account lists only, not lead lists.
- **Usage reports.** Advanced and Advanced Plus admins can open [Usage Reporting](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a103027) and export it to CSV. It counts activity, such as searches run and leads saved. It does not list the leads.

The table shows what each plan includes, using LinkedIn's plan table and help articles. LinkedIn does not state a plan for the data download, so the table says so.

| Route or feature | Core | Advanced | Advanced Plus |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Custom lists, alerts, 10,000 saved leads | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Share lists and saved searches | No | Yes | Yes |
| Upload an account list by CSV | No | Yes | Yes |
| Usage Reporting with CSV download | No | Yes | Yes |
| CRM Sync, contact and lead creation | No | No | Yes |
| Download your data | Not stated | Not stated | Not stated |
| CSV or XLS export of leads | Not offered | Not offered | Not offered |
| List price, checked October 16, 2026 | $119.99 a month, $1,079.88 a year | $159.99 a month, $1,799.88 a year | Quote only |

The prices are LinkedIn's US list prices on its [compare plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans), which it updated on September 27, 2026. LinkedIn sells Advanced Plus by quote. Our [Sales Navigator pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-sales-navigator-pricing/) covers every plan and the free trial.

## What routes out of Sales Navigator does LinkedIn document?

LinkedIn documents one route that moves lead records into another system, and it needs Advanced Plus. The other documented routes move your own account data, usage counts or data inside partner software. A table at the end of this section compares all of them, plus the tools LinkedIn bans.

### CRM Sync and contact creation on Advanced Plus

CRM Sync is the route that LinkedIn's export article points to. LinkedIn says CRM integration is [only available to Advanced Plus users](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106005). Its integration article lists HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales and Salesforce as the CRMs that support CRM Sync. LinkedIn's export article names only three of the four, without Oracle Sales.

- **Direction.** CRM Sync mainly [imports leads, accounts and contacts from your CRM into Sales Navigator](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106005). It can also write selected Sales Navigator data back to the CRM, such as logged InMails, messages and notes.
- **Timing.** LinkedIn's export article calls the sync real time, but its [CRM Sync management article](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a107066) says data syncs once a day. An admin switches on each feature, including contact and lead creation.
- **Creating records.** From a lead page or lead list, you can [create a contact in HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Sales or Salesforce](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a131108). LinkedIn lists lead creation for [Dynamics 365, Oracle and Salesforce](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a7467559), not HubSpot.

LinkedIn says contact creation pre-fills first name, last name, job title and country from Sales Navigator. It does not say the same for email or phone number. A lead page shows contact information only when [the member added it, someone on your dashboard typed it, or your CRM supplied it](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106049). So the email field on a new CRM record may start empty.

Embedded Profiles, also an Advanced Plus feature, show Sales Navigator information inside your CRM screens. Pega, SAP and SugarCRM support only that, per LinkedIn's integration article.

### The partner programme: Display, Analytics and Sync Services

LinkedIn documents three kinds of API for its Sales Navigator Application Platform (SNAP) on [Microsoft Learn](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/sales/). All three are for approved software partners, not for individual sellers.

- **Display Services** put Sales Navigator panels, such as a lead profile, inside a partner app. LinkedIn's [partner terms](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-integrations/terms-and-conditions) describe them as letting customers interact with members and companies without directly receiving the underlying LinkedIn data.
- **Analytics Services** offer a [bulk export API of seller activity](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/sales/analytics-services/): searches, profile views, saved leads and InMails, plus daily figures such as connection counts.
- **Sync Services** build on CRM Sync. They include a [Data Validation API and a Profile Associations API](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/sales/sync-services/). The second returns public profile photos and Sales Navigator links for people that CRM Sync has already matched.

LinkedIn's documentation says it is not currently accepting new partners for the Sales Navigator API. Its [sales integrations page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-integrations) says the same about applications, and lists partners such as Power BI, Tableau, Outreach and Salesloft. No SNAP service exports a lead list for you. Our [LinkedIn API guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-api-pricing/) covers the other LinkedIn API programs.

### Moving data between Sales Navigator accounts

LinkedIn also documents [data transfers between Sales Navigator accounts](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a7768293). They move leads, accounts, searches and notes from one dashboard to another, for example when you change employer. Some need LinkedIn support and a data transfer agreement. LinkedIn says transfers take up to 48 hours. They move data to another dashboard. They do not give you a file.

### All the routes side by side

| Route | Who it suits | What it returns | What it risks |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| CRM Sync and contact creation | Teams on Advanced Plus with HubSpot, Dynamics, Oracle Sales or Salesforce | Leads and contacts as CRM records. Email and phone are not pre-filled. | Needs the top plan and an admin to switch it on. No file. |
| Download your data | Any member who wants their own connections | Connections file: name, profile URL, company, position, email if allowed | 1st-degree connections only. No saved leads. |
| Usage Reporting CSV | Advanced and Advanced Plus admins | Counts of searches, profile views and saved leads | It is not a lead list. |
| SNAP partner APIs | Software vendors that LinkedIn approved | Display panels, seller activity, CRM data checks | Closed to new partners. Not for individual sellers. |
| Account data transfer | People moving to another Sales Navigator account | Leads, accounts, searches and notes in the new dashboard | Sometimes needs LinkedIn support. Up to 48 hours. No file. |
| Scraping tools and browser extensions (banned) | People who want a file of search results | A file of whatever the tool copied | Break the User Agreement. Accounts risk restriction or shutdown. Tools can stop working without notice. |
| Contact lookup by profile URL or name and website | Anyone who already holds a list of people | Work email and mobile, each with a status | You must follow CAN-SPAM, GDPR and the TCPA. Not every row matches. |

## Can you download your Sales Navigator leads with LinkedIn's data download?

No, not on the evidence of LinkedIn's own page. [Download your data](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1339364) gives you your own personal data only. The category list, as we read it on October 16, 2026, has no entry for saved leads, saved accounts or Sales Navigator lists. The only saved-search category is for job searches.

The download is still useful for one thing: your own network. To request it, open Settings and Privacy, choose Data privacy, then Download your data, pick the data you want and request the archive. LinkedIn emails a link that works for 72 hours, and the feature is not available on mobile.

The Connections file holds the first and last name, public profile URL, email address, company, position and connection date of your 1st-degree connections. A connection's email appears only if that person allowed it, and LinkedIn says you [cannot export contacts who are not 1st-degree connections](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a566336). LinkedIn's page does not mention Sales Navigator plans, so the plan needed is not stated. Our guide to [finding someone's email on LinkedIn](https://enrich.chat/blog/find-email-on-linkedin/) shows the steps and what the file looks like.

## What does LinkedIn say about scrapers and browser extensions?

LinkedIn bans them. Its help page on [prohibited software and extensions](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387) says members who use such tools risk having their accounts "restricted or shut down". Several LinkedIn documents say so, and each adds something:

- **User Agreement, section 8.2.** The [version effective November 3, 2025](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement) bars software, scripts, robots, crawlers and browser plugins or add-ons that scrape or copy profiles and other data. It also bars bots that add or download contacts, getting around limits on search results or profiles, and copying LinkedIn information through third parties such as data brokers without the content owner's consent.
- **Prohibited software help page.** It covers crawlers, bots, plug-ins and extensions that scrape, change the look of, or automate activity on LinkedIn. It adds that banned tools may stop working without notice.
- **Sales Navigator help page on restrictions.** LinkedIn says features may be [temporarily restricted when its systems detect unusual activity](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a1644013). Affected actions can include InMail, invitations, lead or account searches and viewing profiles. It tells members to remove browser extensions that may scrape profile data or cause many profile views. Restrictions usually lift after 24 hours.
- **Account limits and termination.** Section 3.4 of the User Agreement lets LinkedIn restrict, suspend or terminate an account that breaches it. Section 5 says that on termination you lose the right to use the Services.
- **Company customers.** LinkedIn's [Subscription Agreement](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/lsa), dated August 17, 2026, lets LinkedIn end the agreement immediately for what it calls an incurable breach. Its definition includes unauthorized data scraping and unauthorized automated access to the Services. Access to LinkedIn services is then disabled. The agreement frames subscriptions bought on an order form. LinkedIn's page does not say whether it also covers a self-serve Core plan.

LinkedIn publishes no list of banned tools, so whether a given extension is covered is LinkedIn's call. An extension runs inside your signed-in session, so any penalty lands on your account. Our guide to [email extractor tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/email-extractor/) compares extensions with an API. For the court rulings and what LinkedIn has done about scrapers, read [whether scraping LinkedIn is legal](https://enrich.chat/blog/is-linkedin-scraping-legal/). This is general information, not legal advice.

## Which route should you choose for your goal?

Pick the route by the job. The figure sorts four common goals. Only the first two use a route LinkedIn documents, and only the first moves Sales Navigator leads into another system.

**Figure 2: Which route fits your goal.** Four goals map to four routes. Leads inside your CRM use CRM Sync on Advanced Plus. Your own connections' details use Download your data. A CSV of search results has no LinkedIn route, and scraping tools are banned. Emails for people on your list use a contact lookup by profile URL or by name and website.

*Four common goals and the route that fits each, based on LinkedIn's help pages and terms read on October 16, 2026. Sources: [CRM integration](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106005), [Download your data](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1339364), [prohibited software](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387).*

Without Advanced Plus, LinkedIn documents no way to move saved leads into a CRM in bulk. You can enter the few people you plan to contact yourself, or build your list from another source.

## How do you get emails and phone numbers for the people on your list?

Look up each person with a key you already hold: a public LinkedIn profile URL, or a full name plus the company's website. A contact data API then returns a work email and a mobile number, with a status on each field. It never needs your LinkedIn login.

### Where can the list come from?

- **Your CRM,** including contacts that CRM Sync created from Sales Navigator.
- **Your connections file** from Download your data, which includes each profile URL.
- **Your own lists:** event attendees, customers and research done outside LinkedIn.
- **A plain-English people search.** Enrich.chat's `/v1/search` takes a description of who you want and returns each person's name, title, company and LinkedIn URL. The [AI lead list builder](https://enrich.chat/tools/lead-list-builder/) works the same way.

LinkedIn documents no way to take a lead list out of Sales Navigator, by hand or otherwise. Section 8.2 of the User Agreement also covers copying LinkedIn information without the content owner's consent, so ask your lawyer before you copy lists at volume. Our guide to [generating leads on LinkedIn](https://enrich.chat/blog/generating-leads-on-linkedin/) covers what you can do inside the platform.

### Which key works for a lookup?

Enrich.chat's `GET /v1/person` accepts one of three keys.

- **A public profile URL.** It starts with linkedin.com/in/. A Sales Navigator lead link starts with linkedin.com/sales/ and is not a lookup key. Our [pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-sales-navigator-pricing/) has a table of the difference.
- **A work email.** It finds the person behind the address. Personal mailboxes such as Gmail are not looked up.
- **A full name plus the company's website,** such as acme.com. A company name alone is not supported.

### How do you run the lookups?

1. Pick the best key for each row.
2. Send one request per row, at about one request a second.
3. Read the status on every field. A work email is `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`. A mobile's line is `mobile` or `unknown`.
4. Keep the date and the source of each row.
5. Mark rows with no match as not found. They use 0 credits.

```
GET https://enrich.chat/v1/person?name=Jane%20Doe&company=acme.com&fields=email
{"found": true,
 "name": "Jane Doe",
 "title": "VP Operations",
 "work_email": {"value": "jane.doe@acme.com", "status": "verified"},
 "credits_used": 10,
 "free_lookups_remaining": 9}
```

A `catch_all` domain accepts every address, so the mailbox cannot be confirmed. Treat those emails as risky. A status describes a field. It does not promise that the address works or that the person wants your message. You can run the whole list through an AI agent with one prompt:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the work email for each person in my list. Use the LinkedIn profile URL if I give one, otherwise the full name and the company website. Row 1: linkedin.com/in/jane-doe-ops. Row 2: Sam Lee, example.org. Do not log in to LinkedIn. Show the status of each email, mark rows with no match as not found, and give me the total credits_used.
```

**Figure 3: From a list you hold to contacts with a status.** Three made-up rows go in: a profile URL, and two names with company websites. Each goes to the person endpoint. One returns a verified work email, one returns a catch-all email, and one is not found and uses no credits.

*Three made-up rows through a person lookup. Statuses and credits follow the [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) file. Real results depend on the person and the domain.*

You can try it with no signup: the API gives 10 free lookups a day per IP address. A work email found uses 10 credits and a mobile uses 250. A list of 200 people with a work email each needs 2,000 credits. That fits the Growth plan at $29 a month. Monthly plans have unlimited seats and no annual contract: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. See [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

## What rules apply when you contact the people on your list?

Having an email address does not give you the right to send to it. In the US, CAN-SPAM covers business email too. In the UK and EU, a work email that names a person is personal data. This is general information, not legal advice.

- **United States.** The FTC's [CAN-SPAM guide](https://www.ftc.gov/business-guidance/resources/can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business) says the law makes no exception for business-to-business email. You must honor an opt-out within 10 business days, and each email in violation can cost up to $53,088.
- **United Kingdom.** The ICO says the PECR email rule [does not apply to corporate subscribers](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/business-to-business-marketing/), such as companies. Sole traders and some partnerships count as individuals. The UK GDPR still applies to a named person's work contact details. The ICO names consent and legitimate interests as the two most relevant lawful bases.
- **European Union.** If you got someone's details from a source other than them, [Article 14](https://gdpr-info.eu/art-14-gdpr/) says you must tell them where the data came from, within one month or at your first message if you contact them. Under [Article 21](https://gdpr-info.eu/art-21-gdpr/), a person can object to direct marketing at any time, and you must then stop.
- **Calls and texts.** Mobile numbers have their own rules. Read our guide to [TCPA and B2B cold calling](https://enrich.chat/blog/tcpa-b2b-cold-calling/).

Keep your own do-not-contact list, and honor every opt-out. Anyone can ask Enrich.chat to remove their data at the [opt-out page](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/), and requests are processed within 15 days. You stay responsible for TCPA, CAN-SPAM and GDPR compliance, and using Enrich.chat does not make anyone compliant. For more on sender rules and bounces, see our guides to [cold email data](https://enrich.chat/blog/cold-email/) and [buying email lists](https://enrich.chat/blog/buying-email-lists/).

## What can Enrich.chat do for a Sales Navigator list, and what can it not?

Enrich.chat has no Sales Navigator export. It has no Chrome extension and runs no automation on LinkedIn, and it cannot read your lists, saved searches or alerts. It never logs in to LinkedIn or uses anyone's LinkedIn account. A LinkedIn URL is only a lookup key.

What it does is the last step. You bring names, company websites or public profile URLs. Your AI agent reads [the agent guide](https://enrich.chat/agents/) or adds the MCP server, and gets back work emails and mobiles with a status on each field. Two limits to know before you start:

- **You supply the list.** Enrich.chat cannot pull people out of Sales Navigator for you.
- **It is not a CRM app.** You call it from an agent, a workflow or a script, then write the values back yourself. See [HubSpot enrichment](https://enrich.chat/integrations/hubspot/) and [Salesforce enrichment](https://enrich.chat/integrations/salesforce/) for how.

To test one person, use the free [LinkedIn email and phone finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/) or the [email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/email-finder/). To compare other products, see [Sales Navigator alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/linkedin-sales-navigator/).

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you export a lead list from Sales Navigator to Excel or CSV?

Not with a feature LinkedIn provides. Its [help article](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031) says LinkedIn does not currently offer a way to export account and lead information to a CSV or XLS file, and it points Advanced Plus customers to CRM Sync instead. Tools that promise a file are not LinkedIn features, and the [User Agreement](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/user-agreement) bans scraping software and browser plugins.

### Which Sales Navigator plan lets you send leads to a CRM?

Advanced Plus. LinkedIn says [CRM integration is only available](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106005) on that plan. CRM Sync works with HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Sales and Salesforce. You can create contacts from a lead page, and leads in Dynamics, Oracle and Salesforce. LinkedIn publishes no Advanced Plus price: you [request a demo for a quote](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans).

### Can you download your saved leads from LinkedIn's data download?

Not according to LinkedIn's page. [Download your data](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1339364) covers your own personal data, and the category list we read on October 16, 2026 had no saved leads, saved accounts or Sales Navigator lists. It does include a Connections file with each 1st-degree connection's name, profile URL, company and position, plus an email only if that person allowed it.

### What happens if you use a Chrome extension to export Sales Navigator leads?

LinkedIn says it does not permit scraping browser plug-ins and extensions, and that members who use them [risk restricted or shut down accounts](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387). Its Sales Navigator help page lists temporary limits on InMail, invitations, searches and profile views, and advises removing such extensions. Under its [Subscription Agreement](https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/lsa), a company can lose access for unauthorized scraping.

### Can the Sales Navigator API export my leads?

No. The [Sales Navigator Application Platform](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/sales/) is for approved software partners, and LinkedIn's documentation says it is not accepting new ones. Display Services show LinkedIn data inside partner apps, Analytics Services export seller activity, and Sync Services build on CRM Sync. None gives an individual seller a lead file. Our [LinkedIn API guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-api-pricing/) covers each program.

### How do you get work emails for the people on a Sales Navigator list?

Send a key you already hold for each person to a contact data API: a public linkedin.com/in/ URL, or a full name plus the company's website. Enrich.chat's `/v1/person` returns a work email with a status, and a mobile if you ask for one, without logging in to LinkedIn. You get 10 lookups a day free, with no signup. See the [LinkedIn URL to contact API](https://enrich.chat/api/linkedin-to-contact/).

Add work emails to a list you already hold

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the work email for each person in my list. Use the LinkedIn profile URL if I give one, otherwise the full name and the company website. Row 1: linkedin.com/in/jane-doe-ops. Row 2: Sam Lee, example.org. Do not log in to LinkedIn. Show the status of each email, mark rows with no match as not found, and give me the total credits_used.
