# Lead finder tools in 2026: eight compared, and which LeadFinder is which

A lead finder can be a database you export from, a lookup for one person or a local business scraper. We read each vendor's own pages on October 16, 2026 to compare price, free start, export, API and MCP support.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 16, 2026.

**Short answer:** A lead finder is a tool that returns business leads matching filters you set. The name covers three jobs: searching a database and exporting a list ([Skrapp from $39 a month](https://skrapp.io/pricing), [leadfinder.me from $19](https://leadfinder.me/)), listing local businesses from a map ([D7 Lead Finder](https://d7leadfinder.com/)), and finding one person's contact, which [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) does from an AI agent. Enrich.chat also searches by filter and exports up to 1,000 results per search. leadfinder.io and leadfinder.me are separate products.

## Key takeaways

- Lead finder is a label, not one category. Skrapp, Instantly, Apollo and leadfinder.me search a database and export a list, D7 and the leadfinder.io Map Extractor list local businesses, and Enrich.chat looks up named people from an AI agent and also searches people by filter.
- Three brands share the name: leadfinder.io sells a suite with unlimited leads from $99 a month and no refunds, leadfinder.me sells credits from $19 a month for 1,000 contacts, and leadfinder.dev finds local businesses with weak websites.
- Published entry plans, billed monthly, run from $19 on leadfinder.me to $99 on leadfinder.io: Enrich.chat $29, Skrapp $39, Instantly $47 and Apollo $65 a seat. D7's plan page showed no prices.
- Four of the eight list an MCP server: Enrich.chat, Apollo, Instantly and Apify. Instantly's MCP tools manage campaigns and leads, and its page does not list database search.
- Enrich.chat has no spreadsheet-style table builder like Clay's, and one search reaches at most 1,000 people, 25 a page. Use a database tool for thousands of leads or a maps tool for local businesses, and an agent for the right person at named companies.

## The verdict

For a list of thousands of leads, pick a database tool such as **Skrapp**, **Apollo** or **leadfinder.me**. For the right person at a few dozen named companies, **Enrich.chat** works from one prompt in an AI agent, with a status on every email, but it has no spreadsheet-style table builder like Clay's and a search reaches at most 1,000 people.

- Best from an AI agent: Enrich.chat (Search, then the email, from one prompt)
- Best for a low-cost list with exports: leadfinder.me ($19 a month for 1,000 contacts)
- Best all-in-one seat: Apollo (Free plan, CSV export and sequences)
- Best email-first database: Skrapp (Charged only for Valid or Catch-all emails)
- Best for local businesses: D7 Lead Finder (Keyword and place in, CSV out)

## The 8 lead finder tools, compared

Eight tools, from the one built for AI agents to the one built for local businesses. Prices come from each vendor's own pages, checked October 16, 2026. Enrich.chat is first because it suits agents, and it has limits as a list tool, so read its Watch out for list.

### Enrich.chat

Person lookup and people search. Ask your AI agent for the right person at a company, then get the work email with a status on it, through an MCP server, one prompt, a plain HTTPS API or the dashboard.

- Best for: Finding named people and their contact details from an AI agent or app, not building a list of thousands
- Pricing: Monthly plans from $29: 10 credits per work email, 250 per mobile, 5 per person a search returns
- Strength: A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits, and every plan has unlimited seats and monthly billing
- Strength: Each work email comes back as verified, catch_all or unknown, and each mobile with a line type
- Strength: Works in any AI agent through a keyless MCP server or one prompt, with a LinkedIn URL as a lookup key and no login to LinkedIn
- Watch out for: No spreadsheet-style table builder like Clay's, and a search returns at most 1,000 people, 25 a page
- Watch out for: No lists of local businesses, no email sending and no Chrome extension

### Skrapp

Database search with an email finder. Search people and companies with filters or AI search, then export the list or sync it to a CRM.

- Best for: Small teams that want a searchable lead database and an email finder at a low monthly price
- Pricing: Professional $39 a month for 2,000 credits, or $29 billed yearly; Enterprise from $349 a month for 50,000 credits ([Skrapp pricing](https://skrapp.io/pricing), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: Charges only for emails marked Valid or Catch-all, not for Invalid or Unknown
- Strength: Exports as CSV or XLSX and syncs to HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive ([Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/b2b-lead-finder))
- Strength: Credits roll over, and plans run month to month
- Watch out for: API integration is listed on the Enterprise plan, and no MCP server is listed
- Watch out for: No phone numbers listed, and its LinkedIn extension features, such as auto-connect, act inside your own LinkedIn account ([our LinkedIn email finder guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-linkedin-email-finder/))

### Instantly

Database search that feeds a cold email sender. Its lead database searches contacts by filter, keyword and lookalike, then adds them to campaigns.

- Best for: Teams that already send cold email from Instantly and want leads inside the same tool
- Pricing: Credit plans: Growth $47 a month for 1,500 credits, Supersonic $97 for 5,000, Hyper Credits from $197. Sending plans are separate, from $47 ([Instantly pricing](https://instantly.ai/pricing), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: A verified work email costs 1 credit when Instantly finds it and 2 from data partners, and nothing when none is found ([Instantly credit help](https://help.instantly.ai/en/articles/11381241-data-credit-system))
- Strength: Exports to major CRMs and outreach tools, and adds leads straight to its own campaigns
- Strength: MCP server lists 31 tools across campaigns, leads, email, analytics and accounts
- Watch out for: Credits expire 2 months after purchase on monthly plans, and 1 year on annual plans
- Watch out for: Sending is a separate plan, and its MCP page lists no database search tool and needs an API key

### leadfinder.me

Database search with saved lists. Search verified B2B contacts by title, company, industry and location, save them to lists and export.

- Best for: A low-cost monthly list of contacts with CSV exports ready for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or Mailchimp
- Pricing: Free; Starter $19 a month for 1,000 contacts; Pro $39 for 3,000; Business $79 for 10,000. One-time packs from $5 for 200 credits ([leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: One returned lead uses one credit, and failed or empty searches should not charge you
- Strength: Exports as CSV, XLSX or JSON, plus CSVs formatted for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Mailchimp
- Strength: One-time credit packs never expire, and you can cancel or change plans anytime
- Watch out for: No API or MCP server is listed on its home page
- Watch out for: Its FAQ gives no data source names and says no contact database can guarantee every email stays valid

### leadfinder.io

A four-tool suite: Lead Finder database, Map Extractor, Website Crawler and Email Validator, sold as unlimited leads.

- Best for: Agencies and small teams that want database search, maps and site crawling in one subscription
- Pricing: Growth $99 a month, Pro $149, Ultimate $299; its yearly view shows $89, $129 and $249 billed annually; lifetime $399, $799 and $999 once ([leadfinder.io pricing](https://leadfinder.io/pricing), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: All three plans list the same four tools, with no per-contact credits
- Strength: You can cancel any time, and access runs to the end of the billing cycle ([refund policy](https://leadfinder.io/refund))
- Strength: Map Extractor and Website Crawler cover local businesses and company sites
- Watch out for: No refunds on subscriptions or lifetime deals, and no API or MCP server listed
- Watch out for: Unlimited leads comes with no stated fair-use rules, and its terms bar reselling or redistributing the data outside your organization ([terms](https://leadfinder.io/terms))

### Apollo

Database search, export and sequences in one seat, with Google Maps business search on paid plans.

- Best for: Reps who want search, export and sending in one seat, with a free plan to try first
- Pricing: Free; Basic $49 a seat a month billed yearly or $65 billed monthly; Professional $79 or $99 ([Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: CSV import and export are listed on every plan, including Free
- Strength: Google Maps business search for local companies is listed from the Basic plan
- Strength: MCP server connects over OAuth, with an API key option for clients that cannot open a browser ([Apollo MCP docs](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp))
- Watch out for: Record selection limits per action: 25 on Free, 1,000 on Basic, 2,500 on Professional, 10,000 on Organization
- Watch out for: Priced per seat, and Organization needs 3 seats on annual billing

### Apify Leads Finder

A community-built database search that runs on Apify. Set filters, run it and download the results as a dataset.

- Best for: Developers and analysts who want raw lead lists at a low price per lead and can check the data themselves
- Pricing: From $1.50 per 1,000 leads on this actor; Apify's free plan includes $5 a month of prepaid usage ([actor page](https://apify.com/code_crafter/leads-finder) and [Apify pricing](https://apify.com/pricing), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: Exports to CSV, JSON or XLSX, or fetch results by API
- Strength: Apify's MCP server gives an AI agent access to its actors ([Apify MCP](https://apify.com/mcp))
- Strength: Priced per lead instead of per seat
- Watch out for: Maintained by the community: the page lists a 3.5 rating from 541 reviews and a 74-day issue response time
- Watch out for: The page does not say where the leads come from, and its related actors list their own prices, from $0.80 to $1.70 per 1,000 leads

### D7 Lead Finder

Local business search by keyword and place. Enter a category and a location and get business names, websites, emails, addresses and social links.

- Best for: Agencies that sell to local businesses, not to named people
- Pricing: Plans by daily searches: Starter 10, Agency 30, Professional 100, all month to month. The plan page we read showed no prices ([D7 plans](https://d7leadfinder.com/auth/choose-plan/), Oct 16, 2026)
- Strength: Exports as CSV, Excel or PDF, and takes searches without signup
- Strength: Plans run month to month, and you cancel from your profile
- Strength: Claims up to 1,200 business leads per search, in 3 minutes or less ([D7 home page](https://d7leadfinder.com/))
- Watch out for: Lists businesses, not named decision makers
- Watch out for: The site does not say where its data comes from, and its API and bulk search limits are not stated

## What is a lead finder, and what are the three kinds?

A lead finder is software that returns business leads: people or companies that match filters you set, usually with contact details. [Clearout's guide](https://clearout.io/blog/lead-finder-tools/) defines it as a tool that helps businesses identify leads or collect their contact information, and [lemlist's guide](https://www.lemlist.com/blog/lead-finder) compares it to a search engine for prospects.

Those guides sort lead finders by feature. This page sorts them by what you get back, because that decides what you can buy and what you can skip. Figure 1 shows the three kinds.

**Figure 1: Three kinds of lead finder.** Three rows sorted by what you give a lead finder and what you get back. Database search takes filters such as title, industry, place and company size and returns a list of people to export: Skrapp, Instantly, Apollo and leadfinder.me. Person lookup takes a name and company, or a role at a firm, and returns that person's work email with a status: Enrich.chat and the email finders in Skrapp and Apollo. Maps tools take a business type and a place and return local businesses, not named people: D7, the leadfinder.io Map Extractor and Apollo.

*Three things people mean by lead finder, sorted by what you get back. Examples come from each vendor's own pages: [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/b2b-lead-finder), [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/b2b-lead-finder), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/), [D7](https://d7leadfinder.com/) and [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/). Guides from [Clearout](https://clearout.io/blog/lead-finder-tools/) and [lemlist](https://www.lemlist.com/blog/lead-finder) sort lead finders by feature instead.*

- **Database search with export.** You set filters such as title, industry, place and company size, and the tool returns a list to download or send. [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/b2b-lead-finder), [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/b2b-lead-finder), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) work this way, and the bill grows with the contacts you take. Enrich.chat's dashboard search does too, up to 1,000 results per search.
- **Person lookup.** You give a name and company, or a role at a company, and get that person's details. [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) works this way, and [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/pricing) lists an Email Finder on every plan.
- **Maps tool for local businesses.** You give a business type and a place and get businesses, not named people. [D7 Lead Finder](https://d7leadfinder.com/) and the Map Extractor in [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/) work this way, and [Apollo's plan table](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) lists Google Maps business search from its Basic plan.

Pick the kind first. A database tool gives a long list of people nobody has researched. A lookup gives a short list of people you chose. A maps tool gives businesses to call or visit. The wrong kind wastes the budget, whatever the price.

## Which LeadFinder is which: leadfinder.io, leadfinder.me or leadfinder.dev?

leadfinder.io, leadfinder.me and leadfinder.dev are three separate products that share a name. They run different sites with different prices and terms, so check the domain before you pay or trust a review. The table shows what each one sells, as read on October 16, 2026.

| Brand | What it sells | Entry price | Free start |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/) | A suite of four tools: Lead Finder database, Map Extractor, Website Crawler and Email Validator, sold as unlimited leads | $99 a month, or $399 once for lifetime Growth. The yearly view shows $89, labelled billed annually ([pricing](https://leadfinder.io/pricing)) | No free plan listed; its terms describe a 5-day trial that charges $1 |
| [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) | Database search by title, company, industry and location, with saved lists, exports and credits | $19 a month for 1,000 contacts | 25 credits, no card |
| [leadfinder.dev](https://leadfinder.dev/) (LeadFinder AI) | Local businesses with weak or missing websites, for web design agencies | $14 a month, or $140 a year | Free plan with up to 10 leads |

Other products use the same words. Instantly names its database search ["Lead Finder"](https://instantly.ai/b2b-lead-finder), D7 calls itself D7 Lead Finder, and [Apify's actor page](https://apify.com/code_crafter/leads-finder) lists related actors named Leads Finder and Leads Scraper, each with its own price. A review that mentions unlimited leads, a lifetime deal or a Map Extractor is usually about leadfinder.io. One that mentions credits, saved lists and CRM-ready CSVs is usually about leadfinder.me.

## How much does a lead finder cost?

Entry plans billed monthly run from $19 on [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) to $99 on [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/pricing), with Enrich.chat at $29 a month. Figure 2 charts the smallest paid plan of each tool that shows a price, with the allowance under each name. Apify's actor charges from $1.50 per 1,000 leads and D7's plan page showed no prices, so neither has a bar.

**Figure 2: Smallest paid plan per month, by lead finder.** Bar chart of the smallest paid plan of each tool, billed monthly, checked October 16, 2026. leadfinder.me Starter costs $19 for 1,000 contacts. Enrich.chat Growth costs $29 for 100,000 credits. Skrapp Professional costs $39 for 2,000 credits. Instantly Growth credits cost $47 for 1,500 credits. Apollo Basic costs $65 a seat for 2,500 credits. leadfinder.io Growth costs $99 with unlimited leads as listed. D7 Lead Finder does not show its prices on the plan page we read.

*Smallest paid plan of each tool that shows a price, billed month to month, checked October 16, 2026. The allowance under each name differs, so one bar is not one contact. Yearly billing is lower on Apollo ($49) and Skrapp ($29), and the yearly view on leadfinder.io shows $89. Apify's actor is priced per lead, from $1.50 per 1,000, and has no bar. Sources: [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/), [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/), [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/pricing), [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/pricing), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/pricing), [D7](https://d7leadfinder.com/auth/choose-plan/).*

The bar shows the minimum, not the real cost, because each tool counts something different. The table turns each smallest plan into the cost of 100 contacts with a work email, pro-rated at that plan's credit rate. It is our arithmetic. It ignores seats and unused credits, so your bill is still the plan price.

| Tool and smallest plan | Credits for 100 contacts with a work email | Pro-rated cost | Plan price |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **Enrich.chat** Growth, 100,000 credits | 1,500: 100 people from searches at 5 each, plus 100 work emails at 10 each | $0.43 | $29 a month (Growth plan) |
| [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) Starter, 1,000 contacts | 100: one credit per returned lead | $1.90 | $19 a month |
| [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/pricing) Professional, 2,000 credits | 100: one credit per Valid or Catch-all email | $1.95 | $39 a month |
| [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) Basic, 2,500 credits | 100: one credit per email | $2.60 | $65 a seat, billed monthly |
| [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/pricing) Growth credits, 1,500 credits | 100 to 200: one credit if Instantly finds the email, two from data partners | $3.13 to $6.27 | $47 a month |

Three tools price outside the credit model. [leadfinder.io's pricing page](https://leadfinder.io/pricing) lists unlimited leads on every plan at a flat monthly price and states no fair-use rules, and its [terms](https://leadfinder.io/terms) bar reselling or redistributing the data outside your organization. The Apify actor charges per lead, but [Apify's pricing page](https://apify.com/pricing) says some actors bill platform usage separately, so read the actor's own pricing tab. D7 prices by daily searches, and its plan page we read showed no dollar figures. Our guides to [Apollo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) and the [best B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/) cover the bigger vendors.

## Can an AI agent replace a lead finder?

For a short list of named targets, yes: an agent can find the right person at each company and look up that person's work email from one prompt. For a list of thousands, a list of local businesses or sending, no. Figure 3 matches each starting point to a kind of tool.

**Figure 3: Which kind of lead finder fits what you need.** A decision list from what you need to a tool. The right person at named firms points to an AI agent with Enrich.chat. One email for a named person points to Enrich.chat or Skrapp. Thousands of leads in a file point to Skrapp, Apollo or leadfinder.me. Local businesses by place point to D7, Apollo or leadfinder.io. Leads to send right away point to Instantly or Apollo. A search in Enrich.chat reaches at most 1,000 people, so it is the pick only for the first two.

*Which kind of tool fits each starting point. A search in Enrich.chat reaches at most 1,000 people, so it is the pick only for the first two. Tool capabilities come from [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/b2b-lead-finder), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/), [D7](https://d7leadfinder.com/), [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/) and [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/b2b-lead-finder).*

Here is the first case as a prompt. Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor with the Enrich.chat MCP server added, or let the agent read [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md). The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) lists the steps for each app.

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the head of sales at each company website I paste after this line. For each person, get the work email and its status. Return a table with company, name, title, email and status, and list catch_all and unknown emails separately. Do not guess any address. Report the total credits_used.
```

The agent searches for the role at each company, then looks up the work email of each person you keep. Every email comes back as `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. Hold back the `catch_all` and `unknown` addresses until you check them: see the free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/) and our guide to [email bounce rate](https://enrich.chat/blog/email-bounce-rate/).

A search returns 25 people a page, and a cursor pages through up to 1,000 results, so a list of 100 takes four pages of one search. Say you want 100 people with work emails. That is 500 credits for the people, plus 1,000 for the emails: 1,500 credits in all, which fits the Growth plan at $29 a month. The first 10 lookups a day are free, enough to test the prompt on a few companies. See [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) for the plans.

### Where an agent does not replace a lead finder

Enrich.chat has no spreadsheet-style table builder like Clay's. A search reaches at most 1,000 results, and the plan page lists bulk files only on custom Enterprise plans. That makes it the wrong tool for a list of thousands: use Skrapp, Apollo, Instantly or leadfinder.me. It finds people and companies by filter, not a full list of the businesses in a category and city, so use a maps tool for local lists. It does not send email. The dashboard saves results to lists and exports them as CSV ([lists and export](https://enrich.chat/features/lists-and-export/)), and the free [lead list builder](https://enrich.chat/tools/lead-list-builder/) runs a first search so you can see what a search returns.

You can also put a database lead finder behind an agent. [Apollo's MCP server](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) connects over OAuth, [Instantly's](https://help.instantly.ai/en/articles/12980002-instantly-mcp-model-context-protocol) takes an API key and lists tools for campaigns, leads, email, analytics and accounts, and [Apify's](https://apify.com/mcp) gives an agent access to its actors. Our guide to the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/) compares them, and [our AI lead finder guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/ai-lead-finder/) covers what agents can and cannot do.

## What should you check before you buy a lead finder?

Check eight things before you pay: the kind of tool, the domain, how the bill grows, what you can export, where the data comes from, how it performs on your market, the refund terms and the rules for your outreach.

1. **The kind of tool.** Decide whether you need a list of people, one person's contact or a list of local businesses. Figure 1 shows the three kinds.
2. **The domain.** Three brands are called LeadFinder, and Instantly, Apify and D7 use the words too. Confirm the address before you enter a card.
3. **How the bill grows.** Credit tools charge for each contact or email, seat tools charge for each user, and leadfinder.io charges a flat fee for unlimited leads. Work out your own month, as in the table above.
4. **What you can export.** [Apollo's plan table](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) caps how many records you can select at once, from 25 on Free to 10,000 on Organization. D7's free results cannot be exported. Check the file formats and the CRM sync before you commit.
5. **Where the data comes from.** Ask the vendor for the source and the date of each field. The [Apify actor page](https://apify.com/code_crafter/leads-finder) does not say where its leads come from, and D7's help center lists a data source article we could not read.
6. **How it performs on your market.** [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/b2b-lead-finder), [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/b2b-lead-finder), [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/) each quote a database size in the hundreds of millions, but [lemlist's guide](https://www.lemlist.com/blog/lead-finder) says to test coverage against your own target market before you sign. Run 100 contacts you already know through each free start and score every field, as our guide to [B2B data providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-b2b-data-providers/) describes. Recheck before you renew, because people change jobs: see [B2B data decay](https://enrich.chat/blog/b2b-data-decay/).
7. **Refunds and lock-in.** [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/refund) says it gives no refunds on subscriptions or lifetime deals. Skrapp says it gives none for partial months. Apollo's Organization plan is annual only. Read the cancellation terms first.
8. **The rules for your outreach.** A purchased or exported list still has to be one you can account for. See our guides to [buying email lists](https://enrich.chat/blog/buying-email-lists/) and [TCPA and B2B cold calling](https://enrich.chat/blog/tcpa-b2b-cold-calling/). This is not legal advice.

## When is another lead finder the better choice than Enrich.chat?

Another tool is the better choice when you need a large exported list, local businesses or sending in the same tool. Prices below were checked on October 16, 2026.

- **Skrapp** when you want a low-cost lead database with an email finder. [Skrapp's pricing page](https://skrapp.io/pricing) lists Professional at $39 a month for 2,000 credits, and it charges only for Valid or Catch-all emails.
- **Instantly** when you already send cold email there. Its [pricing page](https://instantly.ai/pricing) lists lead credits from $47 a month, and sending is a separate plan.
- **leadfinder.me** when you want a budget list with CRM-ready exports. Its [pricing plans](https://leadfinder.me/) list Starter at $19 a month for 1,000 contacts, and one-time packs never expire.
- **leadfinder.io** when you want database search, maps and site crawling in one plan and accept its no-refund terms ([refund policy](https://leadfinder.io/refund)).
- **Apollo** when you want search, export and sequences in one seat. It has a free plan and lists Google Maps business search from Basic. See [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/) and [Apollo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/).
- **Apify's Leads Finder actor** when you are a developer who wants a price per lead and can vet the data yourself. The [actor page](https://apify.com/code_crafter/leads-finder) lists it from $1.50 per 1,000 leads.
- **D7 Lead Finder** when you sell to local businesses and want a list by keyword and place. Its [home page](https://d7leadfinder.com/) lists CSV, Excel and PDF export.

Enrich.chat has honest gaps. It has no spreadsheet-style table builder like Clay's, one search reaches at most 1,000 people, it is not a maps tool for businesses by category and city, and it has no email sending and no Chrome extension. If those matter more than agent access, unlimited seats and a status on every email, pick a tool from the list above. ## Frequently asked questions

### Is leadfinder.io the same as leadfinder.me?

No. They are separate products with different prices and terms. [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/pricing) sells a suite of a lead database, Map Extractor, Website Crawler and Email Validator, with unlimited leads from $99 a month and no refunds. [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) sells credits: Starter is $19 a month for 1,000 contacts, with 25 credits to start. A third brand, [leadfinder.dev](https://leadfinder.dev/), finds local businesses with weak websites. Checked October 16, 2026.

### What is the difference between a lead finder and an email finder?

A lead finder returns a list of people or companies that match filters such as title, industry and place. An email finder takes a name and company you already have and returns that person's email. Skrapp lists a lead database and an email finder. [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) does both: it finds named people and their work emails, and it searches people by filter and exports results as CSV, up to 1,000 per search. See our guide to the [best email finder tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-email-finder-tools/).

### Is there a free lead finder?

Several have a free start, and none is unlimited. Enrich.chat gives 10 lookups a day with no signup. [Apollo's free plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) gives 75 credits a seat a month, [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/pricing) 50 credits, [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) 25 credits, and [D7](https://d7leadfinder.com/) 5 guest searches a day with no export. Apify's free plan caps its [Leads Finder actor](https://apify.com/code_crafter/leads-finder) at 100 leads a run. Checked October 16, 2026.

### Which lead finder works for local businesses?

Maps tools return businesses, not named people. [D7 Lead Finder](https://d7leadfinder.com/) takes a keyword and a place and lists business names, websites, emails and addresses. [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/pricing) includes a Map Extractor on every plan, and [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) lists Google Maps business search from its Basic plan. [leadfinder.dev](https://leadfinder.dev/) targets local businesses with missing or weak websites. Enrich.chat's company search filters by industry and location, but it is not a maps tool for local businesses.

### Can ChatGPT or Claude work as a lead finder?

Only through a data source. A chat model on its own can make up addresses, so connect it to a tool that returns real records. The Enrich.chat MCP server, [Apollo's](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) and [Apify's](https://apify.com/mcp) each give an agent a way to look up or search leads. Our guides to [ChatGPT and email addresses](https://enrich.chat/blog/can-chatgpt-find-email-addresses/) and the [AI lead finder](https://enrich.chat/blog/ai-lead-finder/) explain what works.

### How much does a lead finder cost?

Entry plans billed monthly run from $19 on [leadfinder.me](https://leadfinder.me/) to $99 on [leadfinder.io](https://leadfinder.io/pricing): [Skrapp](https://skrapp.io/pricing) $39, [Instantly](https://instantly.ai/pricing) $47, [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) $65 a seat and Enrich.chat $29. [Apify's Leads Finder actor](https://apify.com/code_crafter/leads-finder) charges from $1.50 per 1,000 leads, and D7's plan page showed no prices. Free tiers and yearly billing lower these figures. Checked October 16, 2026.
