# Prospeo pricing in 2026: what each plan costs, what a credit buys, and what one email or mobile really costs

Prospeo lists a Free plan and three per-user plans, and its own pages disagree on whether credits roll over. Here are the prices read on October 16, 2026, the credit rules, the contract terms and the hidden costs.

**Short answer:** On October 16, 2026, [Prospeo's pricing page](https://prospeo.io/pricing) listed Free at $0 for 100 credits a month, then Starter at $49, Growth at $99 and Pro at $249 per user a month, with 25% off yearly billing. A verified email costs 1 credit and a mobile 10, so Starter works out to about 2.5 cents an email if you use all 2,000 credits.

## How much does Prospeo cost in 2026?

Prospeo costs $0 on its Free plan, then $49, $99 or $249 per user a month on monthly billing. On October 16, 2026, [Prospeo's pricing page](https://prospeo.io/pricing) listed those four plans and 25% off for yearly billing. Every seat adds its own credits to a shared team pool, so a team multiplies the price by its headcount.

Prospeo's page opens on yearly prices, and a toggle switches to monthly. We read both views on October 16, 2026. Yearly billing charges the full year at once and delivers all 12 months of credits on day one, per Prospeo's [billing guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/monthly-vs-annual-billing-155mpw8). There is no Enterprise plan on the page, only add-ons and a link to sales.

### Does Prospeo have a free plan?

Yes. Prospeo's Free plan gives 100 credits a month with no time limit, according to its [free account guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-create-an-account-on-prospeo-for-free-5inxir). Sign-up asks for an email, a name and a password, and the guide lists no card step. The [pricing table](https://prospeo.io/pricing) shows search with 28 filters, AI Search, the Chrome extension and the MCP server on Free. It leaves out CSV enrichment, integrations and add-ons, and it caps row selection at 25. A hundred credits buys 100 emails or 10 mobile numbers. The guide adds that Prospeo restricts free accounts it flags for multiple accounts, disposable emails or VPN use.

### Why do other sites show different Prospeo prices?

Older Prospeo prices still circulate. [FullEnrich](https://fullenrich.com/blog/prospeo-pricing), a competitor, says Prospeo changed its plans after December 2025, and that the earlier grid ran from May 2024 to December 2025: Starter at $39 for 1,000 credits, Growth at $99 for 5,000, Pro at $199 for 20,000 and a Business plan at $369. Only Growth is unchanged today. A page that quotes $39 or $199 predates the change.

## What does one Prospeo credit buy?

One Prospeo credit buys one email, and a mobile number costs 10 credits. Prospeo's [credits guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-prospeo-credits-work-yso5gk) says it charges only when a valid result comes back, so a lookup that finds nothing costs 0 credits.

The table combines the credits guide, the [people search guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-credits-work-in-people-search-idi2ua) and the [API rate limits article](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/api-rate-limits-19vqf50). Four rules decide what a credit is worth:

- **Some actions spend credits for you.** Adding leads to a list, exporting to CSV and pushing to a CRM all reveal emails at 1 credit per email found.
- **Repeats are free for 90 days.** Enriching the same record again inside 90 days costs nothing across your team. After that it costs credits again.
- **Search is free in the app, not in the API.** Browsing and filtering cost nothing in the dashboard. An API search page costs 1 credit.
- **Credits are pooled.** Each seat adds its plan credits to one shared pool, per the [seats guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-add-seats-to-your-plan-pjt54j).

## How much does one Prospeo email or mobile really cost?

At list price, one Prospeo email costs about 1.2 to 2.5 cents and one mobile costs about 12 to 25 cents. Those figures assume you use every credit. The maths uses one seat, 1 credit per email found and 10 per mobile, and leaves out tax and add-ons.

Unused credits raise every figure above. If you use half of Starter's 2,000 monthly credits, one email costs about 4.9 cents, double the full-use rate. Yearly billing is cheaper per credit, but you pay for 12 months and the credits expire at the annual renewal. Try a monthly plan first.

### Which Prospeo plan suits which buyer?

- **Free** suits a solo seller testing the data and the Chrome extension: 100 emails or 10 mobiles.
- **Starter** suits one person who needs CSV or API enrichment: 2,000 emails or 200 mobiles a month.
- **Growth** suits a small team that wants HubSpot or Salesforce sync and job change tracking: 5,000 emails or 500 mobiles per seat.
- **Pro** suits a heavy user or a team that needs the highest API rate limits: 15,000 emails or 1,500 mobiles per seat.

## What are Prospeo's contract, rollover and cancellation terms?

Prospeo's self-serve plans renew automatically, month to month, and you can cancel at any time in the dashboard. The [Terms of Service](https://prospeo.io/terms-of-service) also say all purchases are final. These clauses matter most:

- **Auto-renewal (7.1).** Each self-serve plan runs on a monthly term and renews for successive monthly terms unless you cancel. The clause names monthly terms only, while the help center says yearly credits reset at the annual renewal date.
- **Cancellation (7.2).** You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded.
- **Refunds (2.9).** No refunds or credits for partial months, unused credits, downgrades or early termination, except where the law requires them.
- **Price changes (2.8).** Prospeo may change prices at renewal with 30 days' notice.
- **No overage (2.2).** There is no overage charge. When credits run out, you buy an add-on or wait for renewal.
- **Prospeo can end service (7.3).** It may terminate for convenience at any time, with access ending no later than the close of the billing period. Prepaid amounts are not refunded.

### Do Prospeo credits roll over?

Prospeo's own pages disagree, and its contract text says credits do not roll over. The Terms (section 2.2), the help center and one version of the pricing page say unused credits expire at renewal. A second version of the pricing page says they roll over. Both versions loaded on October 16, 2026, with identical prices.

In the second version, each paid plan card carries the label "Unused credits rollover", and a tooltip and the FAQ repeat it. Prospeo's [credits guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-prospeo-credits-work-yso5gk), [plans overview](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/plans-and-pricing-overview-cdloq9) and [billing guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/monthly-vs-annual-billing-155mpw8) all say credits expire, and so does the [add-on guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-purchase-a-credit-add-on-15l1p35) for add-on credits.

Treat expiry as the rule, because the Terms are the binding text. Before you buy a yearly plan, ask Prospeo support to confirm any rollover in writing. A yearly buyer who counted on rollover has the most to lose.

### How do you cancel Prospeo?

You cancel Prospeo in your account settings, and the plan ends when the billing cycle does. Prospeo's [cancellation guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-cancel-your-subscription-1y20sp4), updated August 13, 2026, lists these steps:

1. Open Subscription settings at app.prospeo.io/account/subscription.
2. Click Cancel plan, read the warning, then click "Yes, I understand".
3. Share feedback if you want, then click Cancel my plan.

You keep your plan and remaining credits until renewal, and then the account reverts to Free. Before the cycle ends, you can undo the cancellation. Two warnings from the guide: the team is dissolved and its configuration is permanently lost, and a cancellation includes no automatic refund. The guide tells you to contact support if you think special circumstances apply.

## What hidden costs can raise a Prospeo bill?

The plan price is only part of a Prospeo bill. Check these items before you buy.

- **Every seat is billed.** Five Starter seats cost $245 a month and share 10,000 credits. All seats must be on the same plan, and removing a seat removes its credits at once, per the [seats guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-add-seats-to-your-plan-pjt54j). Seats are named and cannot be shared, per the [Terms](https://prospeo.io/terms-of-service).
- **Add-ons are recurring, not top-ups.** The [add-on guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-purchase-a-credit-add-on-15l1p35) says an add-on renews with your plan, only one tier can be active, and there are no one-time purchases. Unused add-on credits expire at renewal. On the monthly table, a credit costs $0.02 at 500 to 1,000 credits and falls to $0.01 at 300,000. Free accounts cannot buy add-ons.
- **Switching billing periods wipes add-ons.** Moving from monthly to yearly, or back, removes add-on credits at once, per the [billing guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/monthly-vs-annual-billing-155mpw8).
- **Auto-upgrade can raise the bill.** When credits fall below 10% of your add-on limit, this optional setting moves you up a tier and charges your card at once. Prospeo warns that costs can climb if you leave it on.
- **Upgrades restart your cycle.** The [upgrade guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-upgrade-or-downgrade-your-plan-1kvcu1v) says an upgrade charges the full new price at once and resets your billing date. The pricing page FAQ says you pay only the pro-rated difference. The two disagree, so read the checkout summary before you confirm.
- **The FAQ and the add-on table disagree.** The FAQ says add-ons start at 1,000 credits for $10. The table lists 500 credits for $10 and 1,000 for $20.
- **Uploads carry a license.** If you upload lists for CSV enrichment, Terms section 3.2 gives Prospeo a perpetual, irrevocable license to use that data, and signals derived from it, in its dataset, even after you close your account. Ask your legal team before you upload customer lists.

## How does the Prospeo API work, and what does it cost?

The Prospeo API uses the same credits as the app, so it has no separate fee. The [Enrich Person docs](https://prospeo.io/api-docs/enrich-person) charge 1 credit per email found and 10 per mobile found, and nothing when there is no match. You send a POST request with your key in an X-KEY header. API access is listed from Starter up.

The docs say you can control spend: set `only_verified_email` to true to get a result only when the email is verified. The default is false, so check it before a big batch. The [rate limits article](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/api-rate-limits-19vqf50) and [MCP page](https://prospeo.io/mcp) supply the other rules. Rate limits rise with the plan:

The Free plan's API access is unclear. The pricing table says no access, and the [API docs](https://prospeo.io/api-docs/rate-limits) list only Starter, Growth and Pro. A help center article describes limited access at 1 request a second and 50 a day. Test before you build on Free. The hosted MCP server needs a Prospeo account, with an API key or OAuth.

## What do reviews say, and what does Prospeo claim about its data?

Prospeo is well rated on the two review pages we could read. On October 16, 2026, its Chrome Web Store listing showed 4.9 out of 5 from 433 ratings, and Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 141 reviews. G2 and Capterra blocked automated reading, so this page quotes G2 only as FullEnrich reports it.

Read the ratings with care. Trustpilot does not verify reviewers' claims, says Prospeo has not invited reviews recently, and says Prospeo has not replied to negative reviews. Prospeo's [extension page](https://prospeo.io/contact-finder-extension) says 40,000 users, while the store listing shows about 10,000.

### What does Prospeo claim about accuracy?

Prospeo's [data page](https://prospeo.io/our-data) claims 98% accuracy from five verification steps, a 30% connect rate on mobiles, and a weekly refresh for its highest-intent leads with about 30 days for the rest. Those are Prospeo's claims, not tested figures. Prospeo's Terms (section 12) provide the service "as is" and say Prospeo does not promise outcomes, accuracy or coverage.

### Where does Prospeo's data come from, and how do you opt out?

Prospeo's [privacy policy](https://prospeo.io/privacy-policy) says its data comes from public web content, licensed partners, and customer or crowdsourced contributions, and that it does not list vendor names publicly. The company is Defastra Tech Inc., doing business as Prospeo, in Toronto. People can ask for removal through its [opt-out form](https://prospeo.io/optout), which asks for a work email, or by emailing privacy@prospeo.io. The opt-out page says Prospeo keeps the details you enter in hashed form, only to honor the request. The policy says it aims to reply within one month.

The Terms (section 4.7) say Prospeo refreshes or re-verifies its dataset within about 24 months and removes entries flagged as stale within about 12 months.

## How does Prospeo's price compare with Enrich.chat's credit plans?

Enrich.chat sells monthly credit plans: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. Every plan includes every product and unlimited seats, billed monthly with no annual contract. A work email costs 10 credits and a mobile 250, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. Each IP also gets 10 free lookups a day without signup. Full rates are on the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

A Prospeo credit is a different unit, so compare dollars, not credits. Prospeo also charges nothing for a miss, so both services bill matches only. The gap is the plan price and the seats. Take six monthly workloads, assuming every lookup finds a match. A contact with an email and a mobile costs 260 Enrich.chat credits and 10 Prospeo credits.

Seats change the maths. A team of five that needs 10,000 work emails a month pays $245 on Prospeo Starter (5 seats at $49, 10,000 pooled credits) and $29 on Enrich.chat, because every Enrich.chat plan has unlimited seats.

Price is one input, and the products differ. Enrich.chat looks up a LinkedIn URL, a work email, or a name plus a company website. A company name alone is not supported, and personal mailboxes such as Gmail are not looked up. Prospeo's [docs](https://prospeo.io/api-docs/enrich-person) accept a company name but advise against using it alone. Every Enrich.chat work email comes back as `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`, and every mobile with its line type, so you see the status of every field. A LinkedIn URL is only a lookup key, and Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn. This page makes no claim about which service finds more of your list.

The same lookup takes one request on each service. Enrich.chat needs no key for free lookups, and a key is optional:

## When is Prospeo the better choice?

Prospeo is the better choice when you want intent topics and lookalike search, work inside a browser, or sync to a CRM. It has real strengths:

- **Filter search and intent topics.** The [pricing page](https://prospeo.io/pricing) lists 28 filters on Free up to all 41 on Pro, 3 to 12 intent topics, AI Search and lookalikes.
- **A Chrome extension on every plan.** Prospeo's [extension guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-use-the-browser-extension-1h76cxi) covers social profiles, company sites and Gmail or Outlook. - **CRM sync and job change tracking.** HubSpot and Salesforce sync, CRM enrichment and job change tracking start on Growth.
- **CSV enrichment.** Paid plans accept files of up to 20,000 lines, 50MB and 200 columns, and unmatched rows are skipped without charge, per the [CSV guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/csv-enrichment-overview-1por6yb).
- **A free plan with the extension.** The 100 monthly credits cost nothing, and the sign-up guide lists no card step.

On October 16, 2026, [Prospeo's pricing page](https://prospeo.io/pricing) listed Free at $0, Starter at $49, Growth at $99 and Pro at $249 per user a month on monthly billing. Yearly billing is $37, $74 and $187 a month, paid once a year, with all credits delivered up front. The plans include 2,000, 5,000 and 15,000 credits per user a month. The page lists no Enterprise plan; higher volume goes through add-ons or sales.

### Is Prospeo free?

Yes, with limits. Prospeo's [free account guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-create-an-account-on-prospeo-for-free-5inxir) says the Free plan gives 100 credits a month with no time limit, plus search, the Chrome extension and AI Search. Free users cannot use CSV enrichment, buy add-ons or select more than 25 rows. A hundred credits covers 100 emails or 10 mobiles. For a free tier with no account, Enrich.chat gives each IP 10 API lookups a day.

### Do Prospeo credits roll over?

Prospeo's own pages disagree. Its [Terms of Service](https://prospeo.io/terms-of-service) (section 2.2), its help center and one version of its pricing page say unused credits expire at the end of each billing period. A second version of the pricing page, which also loaded on October 16, 2026, says they roll over. The Terms are the contract text, so treat rollover as unconfirmed until Prospeo support promises it in writing.

### How much does a Prospeo mobile number cost?

A mobile costs 10 credits, and the email is included free, per Prospeo's [credits guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-prospeo-credits-work-yso5gk). Revealing a mobile after the email costs 9 more. At list price with every credit used, that is 24.5 cents on Starter, 19.8 on Growth and 16.6 on Pro with monthly billing, and about 12.5 cents on Pro with yearly billing. A lookup that finds nothing costs 0 credits.

### How do I cancel Prospeo, and can I get a refund?

Open Subscription settings in your Prospeo account, click Cancel plan and confirm. Prospeo's [cancellation guide](https://help.prospeo.io/en/article/how-to-cancel-your-subscription-1y20sp4) says the cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing cycle and the account then reverts to Free. The [Terms](https://prospeo.io/terms-of-service) say all purchases are final, with no refunds for partial months or unused credits, except where the law requires one.

Yes. Prospeo's API and MCP server draw on the same credits as the app: 1 per email found, 10 per mobile, 1 per company and 1 per search page.
