# SignalHire pricing in 2026: plans, credits, the Unlimited cap and the real cost per contact

SignalHire sells email and phone credits from $69 a month, or $57 billed yearly. This guide covers what a credit buys, why Unlimited stops at 2,000 credits, the API, the contract terms and what the same work costs on Enrich.chat.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 16, 2026.

**Short answer:** SignalHire's Emails plan costs $69 a month for 1,000 credits, and its Phones plan costs $69 for 435 credits, or $57 a month billed yearly, on [its pricing page](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing) checked October 16, 2026. A credit is spent per person, only when an email or phone is found. Unlimited packages cost $63 to $99 a month, but [SignalHire's terms](https://www.signalhire.com/terms) cap them at 2,000 credits a month.

## Key takeaways

- Checked October 16, 2026: Emails $69 a month for 1,000 credits. Phones and Emails & Phones $69 for 435 credits. Each is $57 a month when billed yearly. Scale is quote only.
- One credit covers one person and is spent only if an email or phone is found. Saving a profile to a list costs nothing.
- Price divided by credits gives $0.057 to $0.069 per email credit and $0.127 to $0.159 per phone credit on standard plans. Unlimited falls to about $0.03 to $0.04 on yearly billing at full use.
- Unlimited is capped at 2,000 credits a month for the whole account, and clause 9.10 of the terms limits it to annual subscribers.
- Plans auto-renew, refunds are not offered, and SignalHire can change prices at any time. The API has no separate fee but spends the same credits.

## How much does SignalHire cost in 2026?

SignalHire's paid plans cost $69 a month on monthly billing and $57 a month when billed yearly, as checked on October 16, 2026. That buys 1,000 email credits or 435 phone credits. Unlimited packages cost $79 to $99 a month, or $63 to $83 billed yearly. The figures come from [SignalHire's pricing page](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing). It has tabs for Emails, Phones and Emails & Phones, a monthly and yearly toggle, a free plan and a quote-only Scale tier.

| SignalHire plan | Monthly billing | Billed yearly | Credits |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | $0 | $0 | 5 credits, or 10 a month with the extension |
| Emails | $69 a month | $57 a month | 1,000 a month, or 12,000 a year |
| Emails Unlimited | $79 a month | $63 a month | Up to 2,000 a month, per the terms |
| Phones, and Emails & Phones | $69 a month | $57 a month | 435 a month, or 5,400 a year |
| Phones, and Emails & Phones Unlimited | $99 a month | $83 a month | Up to 2,000 a month, per the terms |
| Scale | Contact sales | Contact sales | Bulk license, custom contact details |

The page says yearly prices are billed annually, so $57 a month is $684 a year. Twelve months of monthly billing at $69 would cost $828, so yearly billing saves 17%. The page does not say whether the 12,000 or 5,400 yearly credits arrive at once or month by month.

The Phones and Emails & Phones plans share one price list, with the same price and credit count at every tier. Every paid plan lists unlimited users. The pricing FAQ says SignalHire does not charge per seat and that contacts are shared across the team.

### Does SignalHire have a free plan?

Yes. The free plan costs $0 and needs no credit card. The page offers 5 credits, and a footnote says installing the browser extension gives you 10 credits every month. The FAQ describes the trial as 5 contact details before SignalHire asks you to upgrade, and it asks for a business email at sign-up.

### What does SignalHire Scale cost?

SignalHire does not publish it. The Scale card says "Let's talk" and sends you to sales. It adds a bulk license, custom contact details, a prospecting bulk show and job-change tracking to the paid-plan features.

## What does one SignalHire credit buy?

One SignalHire credit buys the contact details for one person, and it is spent only if an email or phone comes back. [SignalHire's pricing FAQ](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing) says the Get Contacts button uses one credit if at least one result returns. A [help center article](https://www.signalhire.com/knowledge-base/what-does-'available-credits'-mean) says no credit is deducted when SignalHire finds nothing.

**Figure 1: When SignalHire charges a credit.** A reveal request from the website, the extension, the API or MCP goes to a check. If SignalHire finds at least one email or phone, it takes 1 credit. If it finds nothing, it takes 0 credits. Saving a profile to a list or project costs no credit, and Search API calls use a daily quota instead of credits.

*A credit is taken only when a reveal returns something. Sources: [SignalHire pricing page](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing), [SignalHire help center](https://www.signalhire.com/knowledge-base/do-i-use-a-credit-when-i-export-a-profile-to-'job-projects'-or-'lead-lists'), [SignalHire API pricing](https://docs.signalhire.com/api-pricing).*

- **One credit covers a person, not a field.** [SignalHire's home page](https://www.signalhire.com/) says one credit returns every available contact for a profile and is charged only on success.
- **Lists and exports are free.** A [help center article](https://www.signalhire.com/knowledge-base/do-i-use-a-credit-when-i-export-a-profile-to-'job-projects'-or-'lead-lists') says saving a profile to a Job Project or Lead List costs nothing. Credits go only on the reveal.
- **One balance serves every channel.** [The API pricing doc](https://docs.signalhire.com/api-pricing) says the website, extension and API share the same standard credits.
- **A found contact is not a checked contact.** The charge turns on whether something comes back. The pages we read promise no credit back when an email later bounces.
- **Your plan decides the fields.** HeroHunt, a rival recruiting tool, says in [its pricing guide](https://www.herohunt.ai/blog/signalhire-pricing-2026-credits-cost-and-alternatives/) that Emails credits return email addresses only. SignalHire's page does not spell this out, so ask support before you buy Emails for phone needs.

## How much does one SignalHire contact cost?

A SignalHire contact costs between about $0.03 and $0.16, depending on the plan, if you use every credit. Divide the plan price by its credits. Email credits on standard plans cost $0.057 to $0.069. Phone credits cost $0.127 to $0.159. Unlimited packages cost the least per credit, but only if you use all 2,000 credits every month.

| SignalHire plan | Price | Credits | Cost per credit |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Emails, monthly | $69 a month | 1,000 | $0.069 |
| Emails, billed yearly | $684 a year | 12,000 | $0.057 |
| Emails Unlimited, billed yearly | $756 a year | 24,000 at the cap | $0.032 |
| Phones, monthly | $69 a month | 435 | $0.159 |
| Phones, billed yearly | $684 a year | 5,400 | $0.127 |
| Phones Unlimited, billed yearly | $996 a year | 24,000 at the cap | $0.042 |

**Figure 2: SignalHire cost per credit by plan.** Bar chart of SignalHire's cost per credit if every credit is used. Emails cost $0.069 on monthly billing, $0.057 billed yearly and $0.032 on the yearly Unlimited package at its 2,000 credit monthly cap. Phones cost $0.159 monthly, $0.127 billed yearly and $0.042 on yearly Unlimited.

*Plan price divided by the credits it includes, checked October 16, 2026. The Unlimited bars assume all 2,000 credits are used every month, and the plain-plan bars assume every credit is used. Sources: [SignalHire pricing page](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing), [SignalHire Terms of Use](https://www.signalhire.com/terms).*

Three things move your real cost away from those figures:

- **Unused credits raise it.** Use half of the 435 phone credits and a contact costs about $0.32, not $0.16.
- **Misses cost nothing.** This works in your favor. Because SignalHire charges only when something is found, the cost per found contact equals the cost per credit.
- **Wrong data still costs a credit.** Your cost per useful contact is higher than the figures above. Check any email or number before you rely on it.

Monthly billing of the Unlimited packages, at $79 and $99, works out to about $0.04 and $0.05 a credit at the cap. The next section explains why that option needs a second look.

## Is the SignalHire Unlimited package really unlimited?

No. [SignalHire's Terms of Use](https://www.signalhire.com/terms) cap every Unlimited package at 2,000 credits a month. Clause 9.10 says unlimited email and phone packages are for annual subscribers, that spending is limited to 2,000 credits per month, and that unused credits expire at the end of the month.

- **The cap is shared.** An account can add unlimited users, but they all share one monthly limit.
- **Unused credits vanish.** The terms say unspent credits do not carry into the next month.
- **A higher cap costs extra.** Clause 9.10 says you can raise the limit for an additional fee by contacting sales. SignalHire publishes no price for it.
- **The page and the terms disagree on billing.** The pricing page shows Unlimited at $79 and $99 on monthly billing, but the terms say annual subscribers only. [FullEnrich's guide](https://fullenrich.com/content/signalhire-pricing) notes the same gap. Ask SignalHire which applies before you pay monthly.

Unlimited only pays off at higher volume. On yearly billing, the $83 Phones Unlimited package beats the $57 plan only above about 655 credits a month. For Emails, the $63 package beats the $57 plan only above about 1,105 credits a month. Below those volumes, the standard plan costs less.

The "Save up to 74%" badge on the page is not a saving against monthly billing. It compares the $83 package with a struck-through list price of $327. Nobody pays that list price.

## What are SignalHire's contract terms, renewals and refunds?

SignalHire plans renew automatically, you can cancel at any time, and refunds are not offered. The rules come from the [Terms of Use](https://www.signalhire.com/terms), which the page dates August 31, 2026, plus the pricing FAQ and the help center.

- **Auto-renewal.** Clause 10.2 says a subscription renews for the same term at the then-current full price. You must cancel before the paid period ends. Clause 9.3 mentions renewal periods of up to 6 months, and the terms do not say how that applies to yearly plans.
- **Cancellation.** The pricing FAQ says you can cancel a monthly or yearly plan at any time to avoid further charges. Remaining credits stay usable until the billing cycle ends. Clause 9.8 points to the Cancel Billing tab under My Profile, and a [help center article](https://www.signalhire.com/knowledge-base/can-i-cancel-my-subscription) names the Billing History tab and a Deactivate Subscription button.
- **No refunds.** Clause 9.9 says refunds are not offered because the service targets business customers. The one exception is evidence of unauthorized third-party activity. Subscriptions are non-refundable when either side ends the account.
- **Price changes.** Clause 9.4 lets SignalHire change prices and packages at any time.
- **Suspension.** Clause 10.4 lets SignalHire suspend or end access immediately and without notice. If that follows a suspected breach, paid subscriptions are final.
- **Taxes.** The terms do not mention them. Clause 9.1 says fees appear on the payment page at checkout, so check the total there.
- **Rollover.** Neither the pricing page nor the terms say whether standard-plan credits carry over. [SignalHire's sales page](https://www.signalhire.com/sales) says unused credits carry over month after month, yet the terms say Unlimited credits expire. Get the answer in writing.

Reviews flag billing. On October 16, 2026, [Trustpilot](https://www.trustpilot.com/review/signalhire.com) listed 59 reviews of SignalHire, 61% at one star and 27% at five. It showed no TrustScore and said it had removed fake reviews. Some recent reviews describe lost credits and refused refunds. Reviews are one side of a dispute, so read them as a pattern, not proof.

## How much does the SignalHire API and MCP server cost?

The SignalHire API has no separate price. [SignalHire's API pricing doc](https://docs.signalhire.com/api-pricing) says usage is billed through your existing credits and quotas, and no separate API subscription is required. The pricing page lists API access among paid-plan features. It does not say whether the free plan includes it.

| SignalHire API call | What it uses | Limit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Person API, with contacts | 1 standard credit per matched profile | 100 items a request; 600 items a minute on paid accounts, 5 on trial accounts |
| Person API, without contacts | A separate credit type, bought through support | Same request limits |
| Search API | A daily search quota, not credits | 3 concurrent requests; HTTP 402 when the quota is used up |
| Company API | On request; company info uses a company credit bought through support | Employee profile pulls use a daily profile quota of up to 2,000, depending on plan |

The figures come from SignalHire's [API pricing](https://docs.signalhire.com/api-pricing), [rate limit](https://docs.signalhire.com/person-api/rate-limits) and [response code](https://docs.signalhire.com/response-codes) docs. Four billing details matter for a project:

- **Misses are free.** [The API FAQ](https://docs.signalhire.com/faq) says items with the status "failed" use no credits.
- **A lost callback still costs.** A credit is used when the profile is matched, not when the callback arrives. If SignalHire cannot deliver after 3 retries, you are still charged, and a new request costs credits again.
- **The Search API has an unpublished quota.** It resets daily, varies by plan and is much lower on trial accounts.
- **Keys come after sign-up.** The [API overview](https://docs.signalhire.com/overview) says to register, then generate a key under Integrations & API.

SignalHire's [MCP server](https://docs.signalhire.com/mcp-server) uses the same credits. Its docs say the profile tool costs one credit per successful match and the paid tools need an explicit spend confirmation, so the first call asks permission and charges nothing. You need an existing SignalHire account, signed in with OAuth or an API key. [SignalHire's MCP page](https://www.signalhire.com/mcp-server) says the server works on every plan, including the free one, within each plan's credit limits. For other options, see our guide to the [best MCP servers for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-mcp-servers-for-sales/).

## Why do SignalHire prices differ between websites?

Guides disagree because SignalHire has changed its plans over time and, by several accounts, sells more than one credit size per plan. Clause 9.4 of the terms lets it change prices and packages at any time. Treat any SignalHire price in a guide, including ours, as a snapshot.

- **Entry plans.** [HeroHunt's guide](https://www.herohunt.ai/blog/signalhire-pricing-2026-credits-cost-and-alternatives/) (October 13, 2026) and [FullEnrich's guide](https://fullenrich.com/content/signalhire-pricing) (updated September 28, 2026) both list lower starting plans. They show $49 a month, or $39 billed yearly, for 600 email credits or 300 phone credits. [SignalHire's extension page](https://www.signalhire.com/extension) also says paid plans start from $49 a month. The pricing page text we could read showed $69 as the lowest card, and we could not load any slider, so treat the $49 plans as reported, not confirmed.
- **Old figures.** FullEnrich says the Unlimited Phones plan cost $167 a month on yearly billing in October 2025 with a 5,000 credit cap, against $83 and 2,000 now. That is a competitor's claim.
- **Other numbers.** An undated [Salesforge overview](https://www.salesforge.ai/directory/sales-tools/signalhire) lists $49 plans with 350 email credits or 100 phone credits. That matches neither the pricing page nor the guides above.
- **List prices.** The struck-through figures on the page, such as $82, $163 and $327, are list prices. They are not what you pay.

## When is SignalHire the better choice?

SignalHire is the better choice when you work inside its web app or extension, need phone numbers at high volume, or want a fixed price for a large team. It has strengths Enrich.chat does not.

- **Cheap phone credits at volume.** At full use, the yearly Phones Unlimited package costs about $0.04 a credit, the lowest phone rate in SignalHire's lineup.
- **A browser extension.** [The pricing FAQ](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing) says it works on Facebook, LinkedIn, GitHub, X and Meetup. The [Chrome Web Store listing](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/signalhire-find-email-or/aeidadjdhppdffggfgjpanbafaedankd) shows 5.0 from 636 ratings and 400,000 users on October 16, 2026.
- **Recruiting workflow.** SignalHire has Job Projects and Lead Lists, as its [help center](https://www.signalhire.com/knowledge-base) shows. Its pricing page lists ATS and CRM integration on paid plans, and its MCP page lists email sequences.
- **Unlimited users.** Paid plans have no per-seat charge, so a large team shares one balance.
- **Free credits to try.** The extension adds 10 credits a month on the free plan.

If those matter more than cost per contact, SignalHire can be the right fit. Our [SignalHire alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/signalhire/) guide ranks other tools on price and phone numbers.

## What does Enrich.chat cost compared with SignalHire?

For a data feed inside an agent or app, Enrich.chat costs less than SignalHire on email-heavy and small phone workloads, and more on large phone workloads. Enrich.chat sells monthly plans: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. Every plan includes every product and unlimited seats, with no annual contract. A work email costs 10 credits, a mobile 250, and a lookup that finds nothing costs 0 credits.

| Monthly workload | SignalHire plan that covers it | Enrich.chat credits | Enrich.chat plan |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1,000 emails | Emails, $69 a month ($57 billed yearly) | 10,000 | Growth, $29 a month |
| 300 contacts with email and mobile | Emails & Phones, $69 a month ($57 billed yearly) | 78,000 | Growth, $29 a month |
| 2,000 contacts with email and mobile | Emails & Phones Unlimited, $83 a month billed yearly | 520,000 | Pro, $299 a month |

**Figure 3: Monthly bill: SignalHire against Enrich.chat.** Bar chart of the monthly cost of three workloads. For 1,000 emails, SignalHire Emails costs $69 on monthly billing and Enrich.chat costs $29. For 300 contacts with email and mobile, SignalHire Emails & Phones costs $69 and Enrich.chat costs $29. For 2,000 contacts with email and mobile, SignalHire Unlimited costs $83 billed yearly and Enrich.chat costs $299.

*SignalHire prices are the plans that cover each workload, checked October 16, 2026. The first two use monthly billing. The Unlimited package, capped at 2,000 credits a month, is the yearly price because the terms limit it to annual subscribers. Enrich.chat shows the monthly plan that covers the same contacts, billed monthly and cancelable anytime. It assumes every lookup finds both an email and a mobile, the highest cost; contacts that are not found use 0 credits. Sources: [SignalHire pricing page](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

Email is where the gap is widest. The Growth plan also covers up to 10,000 emails a month, so there is room to grow. Phones are where SignalHire's bundles win. A mobile costs 250 Enrich.chat credits, so a phone-heavy list at high volume needs a larger plan, while SignalHire's Unlimited package gives up to 2,000 contacts for one fixed price. Enrich.chat credits renew with each monthly payment, and unused credits do not roll over. Each IP gets 10 free lookups a day without signup, and the full rates are on the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/). You pick a plan and pay at checkout on your [account page](https://enrich.chat/account/).

Enrich.chat returns people, work emails, mobiles and company profiles over a plain HTTPS API. Your agent reads [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) once and then calls it from ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, n8n or your own code, or adds the MCP server at [one-click install](https://enrich.chat/install/). A key is optional, so the free tier needs no signup. SignalHire's MCP server needs an existing SignalHire account first. Each Enrich.chat work email comes back as verified, catch_all or unknown. Each mobile is labeled mobile or unknown by line type, which says what kind of number it is, not that it belongs to the person. A LinkedIn URL works as a lookup key, and Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn. You can try it with the free [LinkedIn email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/) or read the [LinkedIn URL to contact API](https://enrich.chat/api/linkedin-to-contact/).

Enrich.chat has two honest gaps next to SignalHire:

- **No workspace.** There is no Chrome extension, email sequencing or dialer. SignalHire offers an extension, Job Projects, Lead Lists and ATS and CRM export.
- **Large phone volumes cost more.** At 2,000 contacts a month with mobiles, the Enrich.chat plan that covers the credits costs more than SignalHire's yearly Unlimited package. SDKs are also planned, not available.

Billed yearly, each is $57 a month. Unlimited packages cost $79 or $99 on monthly billing and $63 or $83 billed yearly. Scale is quote only, and the free plan costs $0.

### Does SignalHire have a free plan?

Yes. [SignalHire's pricing page](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing) lists a free plan at $0 with no credit card, 5 credits to start, and 10 credits every month if you install the browser extension. Its FAQ calls the trial 5 contact details before it asks you to upgrade. Enrich.chat gives each IP address 10 free lookups a day with no signup.

### Does SignalHire charge for contacts it cannot find?

No. One credit buys one person's contact details and is deducted only if at least one email or phone is found, per [SignalHire's pricing FAQ](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing) and a [help center article](https://www.signalhire.com/knowledge-base/what-does-'available-credits'-mean). Price divided by credits is $0.057 to $0.069 for emails and $0.127 to $0.159 for phones on standard plans. Saving a profile to a list is free.

### Is SignalHire Unlimited really unlimited?

No. Clause 9.10 of [SignalHire's Terms of Use](https://www.signalhire.com/terms) says unlimited packages are for annual subscribers and spending is limited to 2,000 credits a month, shared by every user on the account. Unused credits expire at month end and do not roll over. A higher limit costs extra through sales, and SignalHire publishes no price for it.

### Can you cancel SignalHire or get a refund?

You can cancel at any time, and [SignalHire's pricing FAQ](https://www.signalhire.com/pricing) says remaining credits stay usable until the billing cycle ends. Plans renew automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel first. Clause 9.9 of the [terms](https://www.signalhire.com/terms) says refunds are not offered, except for proven unauthorized third-party activity.

### How much does the SignalHire API cost?

[SignalHire's API docs](https://docs.signalhire.com/api-pricing) say there is no separate API subscription. Person API lookups use the same credits as the website and extension, one per matched profile, and failed items cost nothing. Search API calls use a daily quota instead. The Person API allows 600 items a minute on paid accounts and 5 on trial accounts.
