# Similarweb pricing in 2026: published plans, API credits, contract terms and what a year really costs

We read Similarweb's package pages, API docs, terms and AWS Marketplace listings on October 16, 2026, plus buyer data from Vendr. Here is what is public, what is quote only and the one part Enrich.chat covers.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 16, 2026.

**Short answer:** [Similarweb's Sales Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/sales/) shows Individual at $99 a month billed yearly, and its [AI Search page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/) shows $99, $333 and $542, checked October 16, 2026. Web Intelligence is reported from $125 a month, and Business, Enterprise, App, Retail, Stock and the API are quote only. [Vendr](https://vendr.com/buyer-guides/similarweb) reports a median of $37,800 a year.

## Key takeaways

- Similarweb's pages show Sales Intelligence Individual at $99 a month billed yearly ($129 monthly) and AI Search plans at $99, $333 and $542 billed yearly (checked October 16, 2026).
- Web Intelligence self-serve prices load by script, so its $125 a month entry price, billed yearly, is reported by third parties. Vendr's median buyer pays $37,800 a year.
- API and MCP access are quote only. AWS Marketplace lists 12-month Premium tiers at $10,000 for 50,000 credits a month and $35,000 for 500,000, about $0.0167 and $0.0058 a credit at full use.
- Fees are non-refundable, annual plans renew for 12 months unless cancelled 30 days before the term ends, and unused API credits expire each cycle.
- Enrich.chat has no traffic or audience data. Its tech lookup uses 5 credits when a stack is found, which is $0.00145 each on the Growth plan at full use.

## Plans and prices

Prices as listed by Similarweb on October 16, 2026. [Source](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/). US dollars a month, billed yearly. Sales Intelligence is on [its own page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/sales/). Web Intelligence self-serve prices load by script and could not be read, so they are not shown here.

| Plan | Price | Notes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sales Individual | $99 /mo billed yearly | $129 billed monthly |
| AI Search AEO | $99 /mo billed yearly | $129 billed monthly |
| AI Search with SEO | $333 /mo billed yearly | $399 billed monthly |
| AI Search with Ads | $542 /mo billed yearly | $649 billed monthly |

## How much does Similarweb cost in 2026?

Similarweb publishes a price for some packages and hides the rest. On October 16, 2026, its [Sales Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/sales/) showed Individual at $99 a month billed annually or $129 billed monthly. Its [AI Search Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/) showed three plans at $99, $333 and $542 a month billed annually, or $129, $399 and $649 billed monthly.

Everything else we could read is quote only. [App Intelligence](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/app/), [Retail Intelligence](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/retail/) and [Stock Intelligence](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/stock/) show a talk-to-sales button and no price. So do the Business and Enterprise levels and the API. The table lists what each page shows.

| Similarweb product | Self-serve price (checked October 16, 2026) | Higher levels |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sales Intelligence | Individual: $99 a month billed yearly, $129 monthly | Business and Enterprise: contact us |
| AI Search Intelligence | $99, $333 or $542 a month billed yearly; $129, $399 or $649 monthly | Business: talk to sales |
| Web Intelligence | Prices load by script and could not be read. Third parties report $125 a month billed yearly | Business and Enterprise: talk to sales |
| App, Retail and Stock Intelligence | None shown | Talk to sales |
| API and MCP server | None shown | Business, Enterprise or standalone, through sales |

Yearly billing is the cheaper view on the Sales Intelligence and AI Search plans. By our arithmetic it saves about 16% to 23% against monthly billing. Switching to annual billing is not a button: both the [AI Search page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/) and the [Web Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/web/) say to open a support ticket.

## What does Similarweb Web Intelligence cost?

Web Intelligence is the traffic and competitor product most people mean when they search for Similarweb pricing, and its self-serve entry price is reported at $125 a month billed yearly. Similarweb's [Web Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/web/) splits buyers into entrepreneurs, who use self-serve packages, and businesses and enterprises, who talk to sales. The self-serve prices load by script, and our reader returned no dollar amounts. The figures below come from other sites, so treat them as reported, not confirmed.

Similarweb's search listing for that page says Web Intelligence plans start from $125 a month. Three other sources fill in the detail:

- **Elevated Signal** sells analyst and research services, so it has a stake in the answer. Its [Similarweb alternatives guide](https://www.elevatedsignal.com/insights/similarweb-alternatives/), updated October 12, 2026, lists the self-serve Competitive Intelligence plan at $125 a month billed annually or $199 month to month. It adds $333 with SEO and AI search, and $542 with ads, both billed annually. Those two match the prices on Similarweb's AI Search page.
- **AllAble** also sells a competing product. Its [Similarweb review](https://www.allable.ai/blog/similarweb-review), last updated June 29, 2026, lists Starter at $125 billed annually or $149 billed monthly. Reports of the monthly price therefore range from $149 to $199.
- **PricingSaaS** tracks changes to pricing pages. Its [Similarweb diff](https://pricingsaas.com/companies/similarweb/diffs/2025Q1) covers April 2024 to April 2025. It reports that the Professional plan was removed, Team was listed at $14,000 a year and a Business plan was added at $35,000 a year with 5 users and 25 months of data. The page contradicts itself on Starter, so check its captures.

Buyers who negotiate pay more than the entry price. [Vendr's buyer guide](https://vendr.com/buyer-guides/similarweb), last updated February 2026, reports a median of $37,800 a year across 157 purchases. It gives a range of $14,220 to $96,000, and says buyers save 12% on average. It says annual prepayment is standard and one year is the usual minimum term.

**Figure 1: What a year of Similarweb costs, from published prices and buyer data.** Dot chart on a log scale of yearly cost in US dollars. Sales Intelligence Individual billed yearly is $1,188. Web Intelligence starter, as reported by third parties, is $1,500. AI Search with SEO is $3,996 and with ads is $6,504. API Tier 1 on AWS Marketplace is $10,000 and Tier 3 is $35,000. The Vendr median buyer pays $37,800 and the top of its range is $96,000.

## What do Similarweb's Sales Intelligence and AI Search plans include?

Sales Intelligence adds company research and contact details to Similarweb's traffic data. AI Search Intelligence tracks how brands show up in AI answers. Both pages state their user, history and credit limits, which makes them the easiest Similarweb plans to price.

| Sales Intelligence | Individual | Business | Enterprise |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Price | $99 a month billed yearly, $129 monthly | Contact us | Contact us |
| Users | 1 | 5 | 10 |
| Traffic data | 3 months | 25 months | 37 months |
| Data credits | 1,000, no period stated | Custom | Custom |
| Contact details | Bought with credits | 1,000 a month | 2,500 a month |
| API enrichments | Not listed | 1,000 a month | 2,000 a month |
| CRM integration, API and MCP access | Not listed | Yes | Yes |
| Single sign-on | Not listed | Not listed | Yes |

Similarweb's [Sales Intelligence FAQ](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/sales/) says data credits are an internal currency. They are spent when you pull data through an API call or a report download, by the number of results returned. Individual lists 1,000 credits with no period and sells contact details through credits, but the page does not say how many credits one contact uses. That blocks a price per contact for Individual, and Business and Enterprise prices are hidden.

For scale, 1,000 work emails on Enrich.chat need 10,000 credits at 10 credits each. That fits the Growth plan at $29 a month. Similarweb's 1,000 contact details on Business come with five seats, traffic data and an API allowance, so the two are not like for like.

| AI Search Intelligence | AEO Intelligence | AEO, SEO and Competitive Intel | Adds Ads |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Billed yearly, per month | $99 | $333 | $542 |
| Billed monthly | $129 | $399 | $649 |
| History | 3 months | 6 months | 6 months |
| Adds | 150 tracked prompts, sentiment, citations, AI traffic | Keyword research, rank tracker, site audit, traffic and engagement, demographics | Ad creative, campaign and spend insights |

Every AI Search plan includes one user. AEO means answer engine optimization: tracking whether AI tools mention and cite your brand. The [AI Search page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/) also shows a business option with no price.

## How does Similarweb charge for its API and MCP server?

Similarweb sells API access by quote and charges by data credit, and its own site shows no dollar price. Its [developer page](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/developer/) says API access comes with Business and Enterprise plans, or as a standalone package. The Batch API is included in Business, Enterprise and API-only plans.

The [data credits guide](https://docs.similarweb.com/api-v5/guides/data-credits-calculations) explains the unit. Most endpoints charge 1 credit for each result returned, and keyword endpoints charge 1 credit for every 100 results. The guide multiplies domains, countries, time range, granularity and results per domain. Its examples: visits for amazon.com in the US over 6 months cost 6 credits, and traffic sources for walmart.com in the US and Canada over 3 months, weekly, cost 576. Errors, empty results and free endpoints cost nothing.

The only dollar prices we found are on AWS Marketplace, where Similarweb sells Premium tiers as 12-month contracts paid upfront. We divided each price by its yearly credits. The arithmetic assumes you use every credit.

| AWS Marketplace listing | API credits a month | 12-month price | Cost per credit |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| [Premium Free](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-sr2znpsqhhudg) | 100 | $0 | $0 |
| [Premium Tier 1](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-6ek7avzqmlu3i) | 50,000 | $10,000 | $0.0167 |
| Premium Tier 2 | 250,000 | Not shown | Not shown |
| [Premium Tier 3](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-jpsc35yslqayg) | 500,000 | $35,000 | $0.0058 |

**Figure 2: Cost per Similarweb API credit on AWS Marketplace tiers.** Bar chart of cost per API credit if every credit is used. Premium Free gives 100 credits a month for nothing. Tier 1 costs 1.67 cents a credit at 10,000 dollars for 50,000 credits a month. Tier 2, with 250,000 credits a month, shows no price. Tier 3 costs 0.58 cents a credit at 35,000 dollars for 500,000 credits a month.

*Price per Similarweb API credit, our arithmetic from each listing's 12-month price and monthly credits. Bars are to scale. One credit buys one data point, so six months of visits for one site in one country is 6 credits. Sources: [AWS Tier 1](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-6ek7avzqmlu3i), [AWS Tier 3](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-jpsc35yslqayg), [AWS Free](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-sr2znpsqhhudg).*

At Tier 1's average credit price, the walmart.com example above costs about $9.60, and 50,000 credits cover about 86 such pulls a month. At Tier 3 the same pull costs about $3.36. These listings are a reseller channel, and they do not say how the tiers map to a direct contract, so a direct quote may differ. The listings limit use to internal end customers, with no resale or embedding in your own platform.

Credits do not roll over. Similarweb's guide says unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, and its developer page says they typically reset monthly. Past your allowance, requests are throttled or blocked with a 429 error, and your account manager can raise the allocation.

### Does the Similarweb MCP server cost extra?

Not as a separate price, but it needs a plan with API access. The [MCP setup guide](https://docs.similarweb.com/api-v5/mcp/mcp-setup) says you need a subscription with API or MCP access, meaning an API-only, Business or Enterprise plan. It also says MCP spends data credits the same way API calls do, so a chatty agent uses your allowance. The endpoint is `mcp.similarweb.com`. Enrich.chat's [MCP server](https://enrich.chat/install/) needs no key.

## What are Similarweb's contract, cancellation and refund terms?

Similarweb's self-serve plans renew automatically and its fees are not refundable. The [terms of service](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/legal/terms/), last updated March 19, 2025 per the page, set these rules. This is a summary, not legal advice.

- **Monthly plans.** The subscription continues month to month until either side cancels with 14 days of written notice (section 12.1).
- **Annual plans.** The subscription renews for 12 months unless either side gives notice 30 days before the term ends (section 12.2).
- **Cancelling.** You can cancel through the tools in the platform or by emailing support (section 12.4). On the self-serve plans, access runs to the end of the paid period, per the [Web Intelligence FAQ](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/web/). Business plans follow their contract.
- **Refunds.** Payment obligations are non-cancelable and fees paid are non-refundable (section 12.4). A signed contract overrides these terms.
- **Payment.** Self-serve fees are paid in advance. Invoices are due within 30 days (section 14).
- **Trials.** A [June 2024 Similarweb post](https://www.similarweb.com/blog/marketing/marketing-strategy/similarweb-free/) describes a 7-day trial that asks for card details, charges you after the trial ends and allows 15 actions a day. Check current terms before you start one.

On AWS Marketplace, every Premium tier is a 12-month contract with annual payment upfront. Vendr's guide says renewal prices often rise 10% to 20% unless negotiated, and suggests starting renewal talks 90 to 120 days ahead.

## What hidden costs can raise a Similarweb bill?

The entry price covers one user and a short history. These items sit outside it.

- **Separate products.** Web, AI Search, Sales, App, Retail and Stock Intelligence each sit on their own pricing page, so using two means two quotes or two bills. App Intelligence lists three add-ons and Stock Intelligence lists two, all quote only.
- **History and countries.** The [Web Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/web/) offers up to 37 months of extra data and country-level coverage in 100 or more countries as options, and says premium features need a custom package. The Sales plans step from 3 to 25 to 37 months.
- **Seats.** Individual and every AI Search plan include one user. Business includes 5 and Enterprise 10.
- **Credits that expire.** API and MCP credits expire each cycle, and a wide pull multiplies fast: domains, countries, months and weekly detail all multiply the credit count.
- **Upfront, non-refundable payment.** A year billed upfront ties up cash, and the terms give no refund for a change of mind.
- **Estimated data.** [Similarweb's data page](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/ourdata/) says it extrapolates from signals gathered from direct measurement, installed products, public data and partners. It gives no error margins, so test a few sites you own before you pay for a year.

## Does Similarweb show what technology a website uses, and what does it cost?

Similarweb's free technology lookup starts from a technology, not a website. On its [technology page](https://www.similarweb.com/technology/) you enter a technology's name and see its market share and usage stats. The page says the data is updated weekly and comes from a partner network that captures digital signals. It also says you can build lists of websites by technology, with company and contact details, and its calls to action for lists, alerts and API calls lead to a registration page.

Per-site technology data comes through the API. The [Technologies dataset](https://docs.similarweb.com/api-v5/batch-api-general/batch-api-datasets/technologies-dataset) in the Batch API covers more than 5,000 technologies, updated daily. It returns install and uninstall dates, a description, a parent category and a category for each domain. It is available only on selected plans through your account manager, and the docs do not say how many credits it uses.

The [Sales Intelligence FAQ](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/sales/) says its Chrome extension offers firmographic and technographic company insights, but the plan lists we read include no technology lookups. App Intelligence sells an SDK technographics add-on by quote. So the cost of Similarweb tech data by API is not public. To price the wider market, see our guides to [BuiltWith pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/builtwith-pricing/), [BuiltWith alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/builtwith/), [Wappalyzer alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/wappalyzer/) and [technographic data](https://enrich.chat/blog/technographic-data/).

## How does Enrich.chat's tech lookup compare with Similarweb's?

Enrich.chat has no traffic, rank, keyword, ad or audience data, so it replaces none of Similarweb's main products. It covers one narrow part: the technology a company's website runs on. The `GET /v1/company/tech` call takes a company website and returns technology names with a category for each. A stack found uses 5 credits, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0.

Your agent reads [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) or adds the [MCP server](https://enrich.chat/install/), then makes a plain GET request. Each IP address gets 10 lookups a day with no signup and no API key. This response is illustrative and uses a fictional company:

```
GET https://enrich.chat/v1/company/tech?domain=example.com
{
  "found": true,
  "domain": "example.com",
  "company": "Example Retail Co",
  "technologies": [
    {"name": "Shopify", "category": "Ecommerce"},
    {"name": "Klaviyo", "category": "Email"},
    {"name": "Google Analytics", "category": "Analytics"}
  ],
  "credits_used": 5,
  "free_lookups_remaining": 9
}
```

Enrich.chat sells monthly credit plans: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. Every plan has unlimited seats, every product and no annual contract. At full use one tech lookup works out to $0.00145 on Growth, $0.0009 on Scale and $0.000598 on Pro. Here is what four monthly workloads need:

| Domains a month | Credits | Plan that covers it | Monthly price |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 1,000 | 5,000 | Growth | $29 |
| 10,000 | 50,000 | Growth | $29 |
| 20,000 | 100,000 | Growth | $29 |
| 100,000 | 500,000 | Scale | $90 |

Similarweb publishes no price per technology lookup, so this page makes no per-lookup comparison. Its lowest published API tier is $10,000 for 12 months, about $833 a month, for 50,000 credits a month. Its docs do not say what a technology call costs in credits. A Growth plan on Enrich.chat costs $29 a month for 100,000 credits. A credit means something different in each product, so that is a price comparison, not a value one.

### What does the Enrich.chat lookup not do?

- It has no traffic, rank, keyword, ad or audience data, and it does not estimate any.
- It returns names and categories only. There are no install or uninstall dates, no market share and no lists of sites that use a technology.
- It checks one company website at a time. Company names alone are not supported, and agents send about one request a second, so 1,000 domains take about 17 minutes.
- It has no dashboard or browser extension. Treat a result as a strong signal to check, not a guarantee.

To try it, run a few domains through the free [tech stack lookup](https://enrich.chat/tools/tech-stack-lookup/), which shares 10 free checks a day across the website tools. For the full API, see the [company enrichment API](https://enrich.chat/api/company-enrichment/) and [pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/). Or paste this into ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to check the tech stack of each competitor website below, one request a second. List the technologies with their categories, say not found for any with no result, do not add any technology the API did not return, and give me the total credits_used. This API has no traffic or audience data, so do not estimate any: [paste websites]
```

Anyone can opt out of Enrich.chat at [enrich.chat/opt-out](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/), and you stay responsible for the rules that apply to your outreach. See our [terms](https://enrich.chat/terms/).

## When is Similarweb the better choice?

Similarweb is the better choice when you need traffic, competitor or market data, because Enrich.chat has none. Figure 3 matches each job to a tool, using only what each vendor's pages say.

**Figure 3: Which tool fits which job.** Six jobs and the tool for each. Traffic, rank and audience of a website go to Similarweb Web Intelligence. Competitor keywords, ads and AI search visibility go to Similarweb SEO, Ads and AI Search plans. The technology of one company website goes to Enrich.chat at 5 credits a stack found. Every site that uses one technology goes to Similarweb or BuiltWith, since Enrich.chat has no lists. Install and uninstall dates go to the Similarweb Batch API. People and work emails at that company go to Enrich.chat at 10 credits an email.

*Which tool fits which job, from Similarweb's own pages checked October 16, 2026: [Web Intelligence](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/web/), [AI Search](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/), [Technologies dataset](https://docs.similarweb.com/api-v5/batch-api-general/batch-api-datasets/technologies-dataset), plus [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/). Orange rows are the two jobs Enrich.chat covers.*

- **Traffic and rank.** The [free extension](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/extension/) shows traffic trends, rankings and channels for any site you visit, and the paid plans add history and filters.
- **Competitor research.** The Web Intelligence page lists suites for competitive intel, SEO, ads and AI traffic, with up to 37 months of data and 100 or more countries.
- **AI search visibility.** The AI Search plans track 150 prompts from $99 a month billed yearly.
- **Apps, retail and stocks.** Enrich.chat has nothing here. Similarweb sells separate quote-only products for each.
- **API and MCP at scale.** Similarweb's credits, Batch API and MCP server serve teams that pull traffic data into their own tools.
- **Technology lists.** Similarweb says you can build lists of sites by technology, which Enrich.chat cannot.

The trade-offs are cost, term and clarity. Most levels need a sales call, annual terms renew by default and fees are not refundable. If you need only a company's stack and the people behind it, compare [Similarweb alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/similarweb/) and the [best company data APIs](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-company-data-apis/). For a different kind of buying signal, read our guide to [intent data](https://enrich.chat/blog/intent-data/).

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does Similarweb cost per month?

[Similarweb's Sales Intelligence page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/sales/) lists Individual at $99 a month billed annually or $129 monthly. Its [AI Search page](https://www.similarweb.com/packages/ai-search/) lists $99, $333 and $542 billed annually, checked October 16, 2026. [Elevated Signal](https://www.elevatedsignal.com/insights/similarweb-alternatives/) reports Web Intelligence at $125 a month billed annually or $199 monthly, which we could not read on Similarweb's own page. Business, Enterprise, App, Retail, Stock and the API are quote only.

### Does Similarweb have a free plan or free trial?

Partly. Similarweb's [browser extension](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/extension/) is free and works without an account, and its [technology lookup](https://www.similarweb.com/technology/) is free. A [June 2024 Similarweb post](https://www.similarweb.com/blog/marketing/marketing-strategy/similarweb-free/) describes a 7-day trial that asks for card details and allows 15 actions a day, so check current terms. The API has a [free AWS Marketplace tier](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-sr2znpsqhhudg) with 100 credits a month.

### How much does the Similarweb API cost?

Similarweb does not publish API prices on its own site. Its [developer page](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/developer/) says access comes with Business and Enterprise plans or as a standalone package from sales, charged in data credits. [AWS Marketplace](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-6ek7avzqmlu3i) lists Premium Tier 1 at $10,000 for 12 months with 50,000 credits a month, and [Tier 3](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-jpsc35yslqayg) at $35,000 with 500,000. That is about $0.0167 and $0.0058 a credit if every credit is used.

### Can you cancel Similarweb and get a refund?

You can cancel, but fees are not refundable. Similarweb's [terms of service](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/legal/terms/) say payment obligations are non-cancelable and fees paid are non-refundable. Monthly subscriptions continue until cancelled on 14 days' written notice, and annual ones renew for 12 months unless either side gives 30 days' notice. A signed contract overrides these terms. This is a summary, not legal advice.

### Does Similarweb show what technology a website uses?

Partly. [Similarweb's free technology lookup](https://www.similarweb.com/technology/) starts from a technology name and shows its market share and usage stats, updated weekly. Per-site data comes from the Batch API [Technologies dataset](https://docs.similarweb.com/api-v5/batch-api-general/batch-api-datasets/technologies-dataset), which needs selected plans and has no published price. For names and categories of one site's stack from an AI agent, the [Enrich.chat tech lookup](https://enrich.chat/api/company-enrichment/) uses 5 credits when a stack is found.

### Where does Similarweb get its data?

Similarweb's [data page](https://www.similarweb.com/corp/ourdata/) names four types of source: direct measurement from site and app owners' own analytics, anonymous traffic from Similarweb products installed on devices, public data captured by algorithms, and data from partners such as providers and ISPs. It says it extrapolates from these signals, so figures are estimates, and the page gives no error margins.
