# ZoomInfo MCP in 2026: Claude and ChatGPT setup, every tool, credit costs and limits

ZoomInfo runs a hosted MCP server that puts its company, contact and intent data inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools. Here is the setup, the full tool list, what each call costs in credits, and when a one-prompt API does the job instead.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** ZoomInfo MCP is ZoomInfo's hosted server at mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP clients connect to it with a one-time OAuth sign-in to your own ZoomInfo login ([ZoomInfo docs](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/getting-started)). Search is free, Enrich Contacts uses one data credit per new record for up to 10 records a call, and self-serve credits cost $0.45 to $0.25 each ([GTM AI pricing](https://gtm.ai/pricing)).

## Key takeaways

- ZoomInfo MCP runs at https://mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp over Streamable HTTP. Each person signs in once with OAuth, and there is no static API key.
- It is in Claude's connector directory and ChatGPT's app directory, and ships as a plugin for Claude Code and Codex. Cursor connects through the mcp-remote bridge.
- Search, Lookup and Find Similar are free. Enrich tools cost 1 data credit per new record, up to 10 a call. Account Research usually costs 5 to 15 AI credits.
- MCP only draws on pooled (bulk) credits. Subscriptions with only monthly credits, and admin-only seats, cannot use it.
- Mobile phone data and Records Under Management are Enterprise features. A free GTM AI account gets 1,000 data and 1,000 AI credits once.

## What is ZoomInfo MCP?

ZoomInfo MCP is a hosted server that lets an AI assistant call ZoomInfo directly. You ask Claude or ChatGPT a question, and the assistant picks ZoomInfo tools to answer it, such as Account Research or Search Contacts. [ZoomInfo's MCP overview](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp) says the answer can also draw on your CRM and call history if your organization has connected them.

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It is an open standard that Anthropic created for connecting AI apps to outside tools, as [ZoomInfo's MCP or API guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/mcp-vs-api-zoominfo-integration) explains. The client asks the server for its tool list at the start of each session, so new ZoomInfo tools show up without any change on your side.

| ZoomInfo MCP at a glance | Detail, checked October 15, 2026 |
| --- | --- |
| Server URL | `https://mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp`, the same for every client ([Quickstart](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/getting-started)) |
| Transport | Streamable HTTP. SSE still works as a legacy fallback ([custom connector guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/custom)) |
| Sign-in | OAuth with your own ZoomInfo login or SSO. No static API key or header |
| Custom apps | OAuth 2.0 user sign-in with PKCE, or Client Credentials for a service account ([app guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/how-to-build-a-custom-mcp-app)) |
| Account needed | A free GTM AI account, or any ZoomInfo package with pooled data credits |
| Fee to connect | None. Calls spend data or AI credits ([credits page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits)) |
| Enrich batch size | Up to 10 records per call |
| Rate limit | 25 requests a second for the MCP server, per ZoomInfo's app guide |

ZoomInfo MCP is not the same as ZoomInfo Copilot, the assistant built into ZoomInfo's web app. Viewing a contact in Copilot uses no data credits, but enriching it through MCP does, because the data moves into your AI tool, says the [credits page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits). Claude's [directory listing for ZoomInfo](https://claude.ai/directory/connectors/f2cdf1b8-2f75-48a4-8d8c-8d9cce1b8643) shows it was added in November 2025. ZoomInfo announced the Claude integration in June 2026, [Destination CRM reported](https://www.destinationcrm.com/Articles/CRM-News/CRM-Across-the-Wire/ZoomInfo-Integrates-with-Claude-175144.aspx).

## Which AI clients does ZoomInfo MCP support?

ZoomInfo MCP works with any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with OAuth. ZoomInfo's [clients page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients) has setup guides for 12 named apps, plus a custom connector for everything else. This is how each one connects:

| Client | How you connect | Watch for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Claude on the web and Claude Desktop | Connector directory: search ZoomInfo, click Connect | On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds it for the organization first ([Anthropic](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11176164-use-connectors-to-extend-claude-s-capabilities)) |
| Claude Code and Claude Cowork | ZoomInfo plugin from Anthropic's official marketplace. Claude Code also takes the bare server | The plugin adds ZoomInfo's prebuilt GTM skills |
| ChatGPT | Apps panel: search ZoomInfo, click Connect | ZoomInfo says it works on all ChatGPT tiers, including free ([guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/chatgpt)) |
| Codex | Plugin, or `codex mcp add zoominfo --url https://mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp` | Sign in with `codex mcp login zoominfo` ([ZoomInfo docs](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/connect-to-zoominfo-mcp)) |
| Cursor | The `mcp-remote` bridge in `~/.cursor/mcp.json` | Needs Node.js 18 or later ([guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/cursor)) |
| Microsoft Copilot | Copilot Studio connector | A Preview, Premium connector, limited to 100 calls a minute per connection ([Microsoft](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/zoominfogtm/)) |
| Perplexity | Native connector | Paid plans with Computer access only ([Quickstart](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/getting-started)) |
| Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Spark, Amazon Quick, Slack | Native connector or connected app, per ZoomInfo's page for each | Gemini CLI, a separate path, needs explicit client credentials ([clients page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients)) |
| Any other MCP client | Custom connector: the URL, Streamable HTTP and OAuth | Leave client ID and secret blank unless the app insists |

## How do you connect ZoomInfo MCP to Claude?

In Claude on the web or Claude Desktop, you add ZoomInfo from the connector directory and sign in with your ZoomInfo login. There is no API key to copy and no code to run. These steps combine [ZoomInfo's Claude guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/claude) with [Anthropic's help article on connectors](https://support.claude.com/en/articles/11176164-use-connectors-to-extend-claude-s-capabilities), both checked October 15, 2026.

### Before you start

- **Your own ZoomInfo login.** Admin-only seats have no data access and cannot connect, per [ZoomInfo's security page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/security).
- **Pooled data credits.** MCP cannot use recurring monthly credits. Your admin can check under Admin Portal, Usage, Data Credit Dashboard.
- **API Access turned on.** Admins switch MCP on for each user with the API Access setting in User Management.
- **Model training off.** [ZoomInfo's connection guide](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/connect-to-zoominfo-mcp) prohibits using MCP data for AI training and asks you to turn training off in your AI account first.

### Claude on the web, Claude Desktop or Cowork

1. Turn off model training in your Claude privacy settings.
2. Open **Customize**, then **Connectors**, and click **+** to browse the directory. ZoomInfo's docs call this Settings, then Connectors.
3. Search for **ZoomInfo** and click **Connect**.
4. Sign in with your ZoomInfo credentials or your company SSO, and approve access.
5. Back in Connectors, open ZoomInfo and set each tool to **Always allow**, **Needs approval** or **Blocked**. Set the enrich and research tools to Needs approval, because they spend credits.
6. Start a new chat, click **+**, then **Connectors**, and turn ZoomInfo on. Then ask: "What ZoomInfo tools do you have access to?"

Anthropic says directory connectors work for all Claude users. On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds ZoomInfo under Organization settings, then Connectors, and each person still signs in on their own. Owners set the tool permissions there for everyone. If no tools appear, start a new chat: ZoomInfo notes that Claude refreshes its tool list at the start of each session. For prompt ideas once you are connected, see our guide to [Claude for sales](https://enrich.chat/blog/claude-for-sales/).

### Claude Code

Claude Code takes either ZoomInfo's plugin or the bare server. The plugin is listed in [Anthropic's official plugin marketplace](https://github.com/anthropics/claude-plugins-official) and points to [ZoomInfo's plugin repository](https://github.com/Zoominfo/zoominfo-mcp-plugin). That repository bundles skills such as `/build-list`, `/account-research` and `/buying-committee`.

```
# Plugin: the hosted server plus ZoomInfo's GTM skills
claude plugin install zoominfo@claude-plugins-official
# Or the server on its own
claude mcp add --transport http zoominfo https://mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp
# Then, inside Claude Code: pick zoominfo, then Authenticate
/mcp
```

The `/mcp` command opens the ZoomInfo sign-in in your browser. [Anthropic's Claude Code docs](https://code.claude.com/docs/en/mcp) say the tokens are stored and refreshed for you. If the connection stops working after a few hours, ZoomInfo's [Claude Code page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/claude-code) says to run `/mcp` again.

### ChatGPT and Cursor

In ChatGPT, open **Apps** in the side panel, search for ZoomInfo, click **Connect** and sign in. Cursor is the odd one out. ZoomInfo's [Cursor guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/cursor) says a plain URL entry fails with "Failed during live tool discovery." Instead, you run the `mcp-remote` bridge through `npx`, which handles the browser sign-in:

```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "zoominfo": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote@0.1.38", "https://mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp", "46818",
               "--static-oauth-client-metadata",
               "{\"scope\":\"openid profile email offline_access zi_api zi_mcp api:data:mcp\"}"]
    }
  }
}
```

ZoomInfo's older [docs.gtm.ai guide](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/connect-to-zoominfo-mcp) still shows a plain URL entry for Cursor. Use the bridge, and restart Cursor after you save the file.

### Your own agent or app

To build your own agent on the server, you register an app first. Existing customers use the Developer Portal and pick **MCP App**. GTM AI accounts use the API/MCP tab in the ZoomInfo app. Either way you get a client ID and secret, then run the PKCE sign-in for each user or Client Credentials for one service identity, per ZoomInfo's [app guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/how-to-build-a-custom-mcp-app). The Developer Portal can mint a short-lived bearer token for tests, and those calls spend real credits.

## What tools does ZoomInfo MCP expose?

ZoomInfo's [tools reference](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools) listed 26 tools on October 15, 2026. Three of them, Enrich Intent, Enrich News and Enrich Scoops, are marked as replaced by Enrich Company Signals. You rarely name a tool yourself. The assistant chains them, usually Lookup, then Search, then Enrich when it builds a list.

**Figure 1: How a ZoomInfo MCP call flows.** An AI client such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor signs in once with the user's own ZoomInfo login over OAuth, then calls tools through ZoomInfo's MCP gateway at mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp, which checks the user's package. Search, lookup and lookalike tools are free. Enrich Contacts, Enrich Companies and Company Signals use one data credit per new record. Account Research, Contact Research and Audience Analysis use AI credits, most briefs 5 to 15. Paid calls draw on the organization's pooled credits, which admins can cap per user.

*How one ZoomInfo MCP request travels, from the AI client to the credit pool, with tool costs as published on October 15, 2026. Sources: [ZoomInfo security page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/security), [tools reference](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools), [credits and billing](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits).*

| Tool group | ZoomInfo MCP tools | Credits | What comes back |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Find people and companies | Search Companies, Search Contacts, Lookup, Find Similar Companies, Find Similar Contacts, Find Recommended Contacts | Free | Names, titles, companies and ZoomInfo IDs. No emails or phones |
| Find signals | Search Intent, Search Scoops | Free | Companies researching a topic, or with a recent business event |
| Enrich records | Enrich Contacts, Enrich Companies | 1 data credit per new record, up to 10 a call | Email, mobile and direct phones, title, seniority and LinkedIn URL, or firmographics |
| Enrich signals | Enrich Company Signals | 1 data credit per new signal, up to 10 companies a call | Intent topics, news and scoops, newest first |
| Research agents | Account Research, Contact Research, Conversation Intelligence | AI credits: most briefs 5 to 15, Conversation Intelligence 9 or more | A written briefing, not raw records |
| Audiences | Browse Audiences, Get Audience, Upsert Audience, Manage Audience Columns, Manage Audience Rows, Audience Analysis | Free to read. Data credits on matched rows loaded. AI credits for analysis | Saved lists inside ZoomInfo |
| Context | GTM Context, Update GTM Context, Browse Engagements | Free | Your role, personas, ICP and meeting history |

Search results never include contact details. [Search Contacts](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools/search-contacts) returns names, titles, companies and IDs. The assistant then passes those IDs to [Enrich Contacts](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools/enrich-contacts) for emails and phones. Enrich Contacts also accepts a name with company context or an email address. ZoomInfo warns that a bare name without a company rarely resolves, and the fields you get depend on your package.

Search Intent gives each company a signal score from 60 to 100 and an audience strength from A to E, per [ZoomInfo's Claude setup guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/how-to-connect-to-zoominfo-mcp-in-claude). It only works if your organization has Intent Topics set up, says the [security page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/security). Our guide to [firmographic and technographic data](https://enrich.chat/blog/firmographic-data/) explains the company fields.

## What does a ZoomInfo MCP call cost?

Connecting ZoomInfo MCP is free, and each paid call spends credits. ZoomInfo's [credits page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits) says MCP, the CLI and the API draw on the same credit pools as the web app, at no extra platform cost. Enrich tools use data credits and research agents use AI credits. Everything else is free.

ZoomInfo publishes dollar prices only for GTM AI, its self-serve plan. On October 15, 2026, the [GTM AI pricing calculator](https://gtm.ai/pricing) charged $0.45 per data credit on small top-ups, falling to $0.25 at the $25,000 spend tier. AI credits cost a flat $0.05. ZoomInfo sales quotes Enterprise packages, and our [ZoomInfo pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/) covers what buyers report paying.

| ZoomInfo MCP call | Credits used | Cost at GTM AI rates |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Search, Lookup or Find Similar | 0 | $0 |
| Enrich Contacts, 10 new contacts | 10 data credits | $4.50 at $0.45, or $2.50 at $0.25 |
| Enrich Contacts, 10 contacts, 4 enriched by your team in the past year | 6 data credits, ZoomInfo's own example | Enterprise only, at your contract rate |
| Enrich Company Signals, 10 companies | 1 data credit per new signal returned | Varies with the signals found |
| Account Research or Contact Research | Most calls 5 to 15 AI credits | $0.25 to $0.75 |
| Conversation Intelligence | At least 9 AI credits | $0.45 or more |
| Research 50 accounts in Claude | About 500 AI credits, ZoomInfo's example | About $25 |

The credit counts come from ZoomInfo's [credits page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits), and the 50-account example from the [pricing page](https://gtm.ai/pricing). Three billing rules change the math:

- **Records Under Management.** Once anyone in your organization enriches a record, enriching it again within 12 months costs nothing, on any ZoomInfo surface. The GTM AI pricing FAQ says this is an Enterprise benefit that does not apply to the free tier.
- **No cost preview.** ZoomInfo shows no price before a tool call. Its credits page suggests asking the AI to estimate the credits and check with you before paid research.
- **Admin caps.** Admins can set data and AI credit limits for each user in the Admin Portal, and MCP respects them.

A new GTM AI account gets 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits once, with no card, and top-ups start at $20. A limited offer took 70% off the first data credit purchase on October 15, 2026. The full tier table is in our [ZoomInfo API pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-api-pricing/).

## Which ZoomInfo plan do you need for MCP?

Any ZoomInfo login with data access and pooled credits can use MCP. ZoomInfo's [Quickstart](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/getting-started) names a free GTM AI account and the Sales, Copilot, Studio and ZI Lite packages. What changes between them is the data you get back, mainly mobile numbers.

| ZoomInfo account | Can it use MCP? | What to know |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Free GTM AI account | Yes, with 1,000 data and 1,000 AI credits once | 5 requests a second and 5 apps. No Records Under Management and no mobile phone data |
| Sales, Copilot, Studio or ZI Lite package | Yes, if bulk data credits are enabled | Fields follow your package. MCP is included at no extra fee |
| Enterprise package | Yes | Adds mobile phone data, annual volume pricing, SSO and custom rate limits |
| Subscription with only monthly credits | No, enrichment fails | Ask your admin to enable bulk data credits |
| Admin-only seat | No | These seats have no data access by design |

The mobile gap matters if you want phone numbers in your agent. The [GTM AI pricing page](https://gtm.ai/pricing) lists mobile phone data among its Enterprise package features. Enrich Contacts can return mobile and direct phones, but only when your package includes them, per its [tool page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools/enrich-contacts). Admins also control access one user at a time. MCP turns on with the API Access setting, and there is no switch to turn it off for the whole organization at once, says the [security page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/security).

**Figure 2: Will ZoomInfo MCP work on your account?** A four-step check. If you do not sign in with your own ZoomInfo login that has data access, you cannot connect, because admin-only seats are blocked. If your account has no pooled bulk data credits, enrichment fails and your admin must enable them. If API Access is off for your user, your admin turns it on. If you need mobile numbers, you need an Enterprise package. Pass all four and you add ZoomInfo in your AI client and sign in once.

## What are the limits and gotchas of ZoomInfo MCP?

ZoomInfo MCP is built for a person asking questions in an AI tool, not for batch jobs. ZoomInfo's own [FAQ](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/faq) says it does not write to your CRM or run bulk exports. These are the limits that catch people out most often:

- **Ten records per enrich call.** The current [tools reference](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools), dated September 25, 2026, caps Enrich Contacts and Enrich Companies at 10 records a call. Older ZoomInfo pages still say 25, including the [docs.gtm.ai tools page](https://docs.gtm.ai/docs/available-mcp-tools) and a [July 2026 ZoomInfo blog post](https://pipeline.zoominfo.com/operations/zoominfo-mcp-server). Plan for 10.
- **Writes stay inside ZoomInfo.** MCP can save audiences and update GTM context, but it cannot write back to your CRM. That same July post called the server read-only, which is no longer the case.
- **Rate limits.** ZoomInfo's [app guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/how-to-build-a-custom-mcp-app) lists 25 requests a second for the MCP server, and the free GTM AI plan lists 5 a second. Microsoft's [Copilot Studio connector](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/connectors/zoominfogtm/) allows 100 calls a minute per connection. On a 429 error, back off and retry.
- **Token cost.** Direct tools pour raw records into the model's context window. On ZoomInfo's own GTM Bench v1, its command-line tool used about a third of MCP's tokens for the same ten tasks: 460,000 against 1.48 million, per ZoomInfo's [CLI, MCP or API guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/cli-mcp-or-api-zoominfo). MCP finished faster.
- **Sessions expire.** The connection can drop after a few hours when your ZoomInfo session ends. Reconnect in the client, per the [custom connector guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/custom).
- **One login per person.** ZoomInfo says not to share logins, because a shared login loses each person's accounts and CRM context. Custom apps that need one identity use the Client Credentials flow, as ZoomInfo's [sign-in guide](https://gtm.ai/guides/oauth-vs-client-credentials-zoominfo-mcp) explains.
- **Your AI provider sees the data.** ZoomInfo data passes through your AI provider, whose terms govern how it is kept. ZoomInfo's [security page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/security) says to turn off training where you can.

For batch enrichment, CRM sync or scheduled jobs, ZoomInfo points you to its REST API or its GTM CLI, which draw on the same credits. It also offers an [Agent API](https://docs.gtm.ai/reference/agentscontroller_listagents) that runs ZoomInfo's managed agents from code. Our [ZoomInfo API guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-api-pricing/) covers OAuth, batch sizes and rate limits.

## How does ZoomInfo MCP compare with Apollo MCP, HubSpot MCP and Enrich.chat?

ZoomInfo MCP has the deepest signals, Apollo MCP adds outreach tools at a far lower credit price, and HubSpot MCP works on the CRM records you already own. Enrich.chat has a remote MCP server too, with no key needed on the free tier, and your agent can instead read one page and call a plain API, priced in monthly credit plans. The facts below come from each vendor's own pages, checked October 15, 2026.

|  | ZoomInfo MCP | Apollo MCP | HubSpot MCP | Enrich.chat |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Setup | Directory connector or plugin, OAuth for each user | Directory connector, OAuth or a master API key | HubSpot connector, or an MCP Auth App with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE | Add the MCP URL with no sign-in or key, or paste one prompt |
| Plan needed | Free GTM AI account, or a package with bulk credits | Any Apollo plan. Free accounts need a work email | Any HubSpot account | None for 10 lookups a day; more volume needs a monthly plan from $29 |
| Contact data returned | Emails and phones your package allows, plus intent, scoops and news | Emails and phones from Apollo's database | Emails and phones already in your CRM | Work emails with a status, mobiles with a line type |
| Cost per email | 1 data credit: $0.45 to $0.25 self-serve | 1 credit, about $0.02 | Not priced per record | 10 credits: $0.0029 on Growth, $0.0012 on Pro, if you use every credit |
| Cost per mobile | Enterprise packages only, no public price | 8 more credits, about $0.16 | Only numbers you already stored | 250 credits: $0.0725 on Growth, $0.0299 on Pro, if you use every credit |
| Contract | None on GTM AI. Enterprise is priced on annual volume | Per-seat plans, billed monthly or annually | Your HubSpot subscription | Monthly plans, cancel anytime, unlimited seats |
| Writes | ZoomInfo audiences and GTM context | Apollo contacts, sequences and emails | CRM records and activities | None. It returns data only |

Apollo's dollar figures are our math. Apollo's Basic plan costs $49 a seat a month, billed annually, for 30,000 credits a year, per [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). That is about 2 cents a credit if you use them all. Credit costs per action come from [Apollo's API pricing](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing), and setup from [Apollo's MCP docs](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp). HubSpot facts come from its [April 13, 2026 changelog](https://developers.hubspot.com/changelog/remote-hubspot-mcp-server-is-now-generally-available) and [MCP server docs](https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/build-with-ai/remote-mcp-server). Our [Apollo MCP guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-mcp-alternative/) and [HubSpot MCP guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/hubspot-mcp/) go deeper.

**Figure 3: Cost of one 10-contact enrich call at published prices.** Bar chart of what one enrichment call for 10 new contacts costs at published prices on October 15, 2026, assuming all 10 match. ZoomInfo GTM AI costs $4.50 at the $0.45 base rate and $2.50 at the $0.25 top tier. ZoomInfo Enterprise has no public price. Apollo MCP costs about $0.20 for emails and about $1.76 with mobiles. Enrich.chat on the Growth plan, $29 a month, works out to about $0.03 for verified emails (100 credits) and about $0.75 with mobiles (2,600 credits), pro-rated at the plan rate.

*Illustrative maths at published prices, assuming all 10 contacts match. The $0.25 GTM AI rate needs a $25,000 top-up. A ZoomInfo credit buys a full record with the fields your package allows, and GTM AI self-serve excludes mobile data. Apollo values are our math at the Basic plan's $588 a seat a year for 30,000 credits. The Enrich.chat bars are pro-rated at the Growth plan rate for the 100 and 2,600 credits these calls use; the plan itself is $29 a month, and a miss uses no credits. HubSpot MCP is left out because it reads contacts you already store. Sources: [GTM AI pricing](https://gtm.ai/pricing), [Apollo API pricing](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing), [Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

## When is ZoomInfo MCP the better choice?

ZoomInfo MCP is the better choice when you already pay for ZoomInfo, or when your agent needs signals rather than just contact details. Five cases stand out:

- **You have a contract with bulk credits.** MCP adds no fee. On Enterprise, records your team enriched in the past 12 months enrich again for free under Records Under Management, per the [credits page](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/credits).
- **You want intent and scoops in the agent.** Search Intent and Enrich Company Signals bring buying signals, funding news and leadership changes into the chat. Enrich.chat has no intent data.
- **You want research that knows your deals.** Account Research and Conversation Intelligence blend ZoomInfo data with your CRM and call history, if your organization connected them.
- **You need mobiles at Enterprise scale.** Enterprise packages add mobile phone data, SSO and custom rate limits, per [GTM AI pricing](https://gtm.ai/pricing).
- **You need admin control.** Per-user API Access, per-user credit caps and one login per rep suit larger sales teams.

### When Enrich.chat fits better

Enrich.chat fits when you want contact data inside any agent without a ZoomInfo seat or annual contract. You add its remote MCP server at `https://enrich.chat/mcp`, which needs no sign-in and no key, using the steps and one-click Cursor and VS Code links on the [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/). Its tools are `company_people`, `find_person_contact`, `find_work_email`, `find_mobile_number`, `search_people`, `company_tech_stack`, `company_profile` and `check_free_quota`, all read-only. Or you paste one prompt, the agent reads [enrich.chat/agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md), and then it calls a plain HTTPS API from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n or your own code. Each IP gets 10 free lookups a day without signup. For more volume there are monthly credit plans: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. To buy one, log in at [enrich.chat/account/](https://enrich.chat/account/) with your email and pay through checkout. Your key appears on that page. A work email costs 10 credits and a mobile 250, a lookup that finds nothing costs 0 credits, and every plan has unlimited seats and every product.

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the head of sales at each of these companies with a verified work email and mobile. Mark misses as not found, flag catch-all emails, and tell me the total credits_used: [paste company domains]
```

Every work email comes back as verified, catch_all or unknown. Every mobile comes back with a line type, mobile or unknown, which says what kind of number it is, not that it works or belongs to the person. The [data API for AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) page shows the setup, the [person enrichment API](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/) lists every field, and the free [email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/email-finder/) runs the same lookup in your browser.

Enrich.chat has two honest gaps next to ZoomInfo MCP:

- **No intent data, scoops or research agents.** Enrich.chat returns people, work emails, mobiles and company profiles. If you sell on buying signals, ZoomInfo covers more ground.
- **No Chrome extension, dialer or SDKs yet.** Enrich.chat returns data, and SDKs are planned. In Claude you add the Enrich.chat server as a custom connector by pasting its URL, and the free tier needs no signup.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does ZoomInfo have an MCP server?

Yes. ZoomInfo hosts an official MCP server at https://mcp.zoominfo.com/mcp. It uses Streamable HTTP and a one-time OAuth sign-in with your own ZoomInfo login, so nothing runs on your computer and there is no static API key. It is listed in Claude's connector directory and ChatGPT's app directory, ships as a plugin for Claude Code and Codex, and works with Cursor, Copilot Studio, Perplexity and other MCP clients. See [ZoomInfo's MCP quickstart](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/getting-started).

### How do I connect ZoomInfo to Claude?

Turn off model training in your Claude settings first, because ZoomInfo prohibits training on MCP data. Then open Customize, then Connectors, browse the directory, search for ZoomInfo and click Connect. Sign in with your ZoomInfo login or SSO and approve access. Set the enrich and research tools to Needs approval, since they spend credits. In a new chat, click +, then Connectors, and turn ZoomInfo on. [ZoomInfo's Claude guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/claude) has the details.

### Is ZoomInfo MCP free?

Connecting is free, but most useful calls spend credits. Search, Lookup and Find Similar cost nothing. Enrich Contacts and Enrich Companies use one data credit per new record, and research agents use AI credits, usually 5 to 15 per brief. A free GTM AI account gets 1,000 data and 1,000 AI credits once. After that, [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) sells data credits at $0.45 to $0.25 and AI credits at $0.05, as of October 15, 2026.

### Does ZoomInfo work with ChatGPT?

Yes. ZoomInfo is listed in ChatGPT's app directory. Open Apps in the ChatGPT side panel, search for ZoomInfo, click Connect and sign in with your ZoomInfo credentials. [ZoomInfo's ChatGPT guide](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/clients/chatgpt) says setup works on all ChatGPT tiers, including free plans. You can steer ChatGPT by starting a prompt with "use ZoomInfo to". Credit errors usually mean your ZoomInfo account has only monthly credits, which MCP cannot use.

### Can ZoomInfo MCP return mobile phone numbers?

Yes, if your package includes them. ZoomInfo's [Enrich Contacts tool](https://gtm.ai/docs/mcp/tools/enrich-contacts) returns mobile and direct phone numbers along with email, title and seniority, but the fields depend on your package. The [GTM AI pricing page](https://gtm.ai/pricing) lists mobile phone data as an Enterprise package feature, so a free or self-serve account should not expect mobiles. ZoomInfo sales quotes Enterprise prices, and none are published.

### What is an alternative to ZoomInfo MCP without an annual contract?

If you need work emails and mobiles in an agent rather than intent data, Enrich.chat has a remote MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp with no sign-in and no key ([install steps](https://enrich.chat/install/)), plus a plain API your agent can call after reading enrich.chat/agents.md. Each IP gets 10 free lookups a day, then monthly credit plans start at $29. A work email costs 10 credits, a mobile 250 and a miss 0, with unlimited seats and no annual contract. [Apollo MCP](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-mcp-alternative/) is another option on any Apollo plan.
