# Apollo vs LinkedIn Sales Navigator in 2026: price, contact data and outreach compared

Apollo sells contact data and outreach tools by the seat. Sales Navigator sells LinkedIn search, InMail and warm introductions. We read both vendors' own pages, and show when a credit-plan API fits better.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** Choose Apollo if you need emails, phone numbers and outreach in one seat: it has a free plan, then [$49 per seat a month billed annually](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). Choose Sales Navigator for LinkedIn search, InMail and warm introductions: [Core costs $119.99 per seat a month](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans), and it shows an email or phone only if someone supplied it.

## Key takeaways

- Apollo has a free plan, then $49 (Basic), $79 (Professional) or $119 (Organization) per seat a month billed annually. Sales Navigator has no free plan: Core is $119.99 a month, or $89.99 a month billed annually.
- An Apollo email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8. Sales Navigator shows an email or phone only if the member, your team or your CRM supplied it, and it has no CSV or Excel export.
- Sales Navigator searches more than 1 billion LinkedIn members, per LinkedIn. Apollo claims 240M+ contacts. Both are vendor figures, and we found no independent test of either.
- For 5 sellers billed annually, Sales Navigator Core lists at $5,399.40 a year and Apollo Basic at $2,940. Using both for 5 sellers costs $8,339.40.
- Apollo has an MCP server and API that spend your Apollo credits. LinkedIn's sales API is open to approved partners only. Enrich.chat has credit plans from $29 with unlimited seats.

## Quick verdict

Pick **Apollo** for emails, phone numbers and outreach in one seat, and **Sales Navigator** for LinkedIn search, InMail and warm introductions. If an AI agent or your own app does the lookups, **Enrich.chat** adds work emails and mobiles for the people you find, with unlimited seats and no annual contract.

- Contact data and outreach: Apollo (Free plan, then from $49 a seat a month, billed yearly)
- LinkedIn search, InMail, introductions: Sales Navigator (From $119.99 a seat a month, or $89.99 billed yearly)
- Contact data in an AI agent or app: Enrich.chat (Credit plans from $29, 10 free lookups a day)

## Side by side

- **Apollo** (Best for contact data and outreach): A contact database with sequences, a dialer and a free Chrome extension, sold per seat with monthly or yearly credits. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8.
- **LinkedIn Sales Navigator** (Best for LinkedIn search and warm introductions): LinkedIn's own sales search: 50+ filters, alerts, 50 InMail credits a month and TeamLink on Advanced. It does not find emails or phone numbers, and it has no CSV export.

## What is the difference between Apollo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

Apollo is a contact database with email sequences and a dialer. LinkedIn Sales Navigator is LinkedIn's search and relationship tool for sellers. Apollo helps you reach people. Sales Navigator helps you find and research them on LinkedIn. We read both vendors' own pages on October 15, 2026.

[Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) lists a free plan and three paid plans, and charges 1 credit for an email and 8 for a phone number. [LinkedIn's plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans) lists Core at $119.99 per seat a month. LinkedIn's Help Center says a lead page shows contact information only if [the member, your team or your CRM supplied it](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106049/lead-pages-in-sales-navigator-overview?lang=en).

The Apollo cells come from its [pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [homepage](https://www.apollo.io/). The Sales Navigator cells come from [LinkedIn's plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans), its [product page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator) and Help Center pages on [exporting leads](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031). If you only need contact data in an AI agent or your own app, a credit-plan API such as [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) is a third option. Our guides to [Apollo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) and [Sales Navigator pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-sales-navigator-pricing/) cover every plan.

## How much do Apollo and Sales Navigator cost in 2026?

Apollo costs less per seat. Basic is $49 a month billed annually, while Sales Navigator Core is $89.99 a month billed annually or $119.99 billed monthly. Apollo also has a free plan. Sales Navigator has only a free trial that asks for payment details. We checked both pages on October 15, 2026.

| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed annually, per month | What the plan includes |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Apollo Free | $0 | $0 | 900 credits a seat a year, 2 sequences, basic filters |
| Apollo Basic | $65 | $49 | 30,000 credits a seat a year, unlimited sequences, advanced filters |
| Apollo Professional | $99 | $79 | 48,000 credits a seat a year, unlimited daily sends, AI lead scoring |
| Apollo Organization | Annual only | $119, 3 seats minimum | 72,000 credits a seat a year, 12 intent topics |
| Sales Navigator Core | $119.99 | $89.99 ($1,079.88 a year) | 50+ filters, 50 InMails a month, no contact data |
| Sales Navigator Advanced | $159.99 | $149.99 ($1,799.88 a year) | Adds TeamLink, Buyer Intent, seat management |
| Sales Navigator Advanced Plus | Quote | Quote | Adds CRM Sync |

Apollo's figures are per seat, from [its pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), which marks annual billing as a 24% saving. LinkedIn's figures are per license, from [its plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans), which lists annual savings of 25% on Core and 6% on Advanced and says prices may exclude tax. Advanced Plus has no public price. Both vendors charge by the seat, so a team pays the seat price times its headcount. Figure 1 shows five sellers billed annually.

**Figure 1: Annual list price for five sellers on Sales Navigator and Apollo.** Bar chart of the yearly list price for 5 seats billed annually. Sales Navigator Advanced costs $8,999.40 and Core costs $5,399.40, with no emails or mobiles. Apollo Professional costs $4,740 and Basic costs $2,940. Using Sales Navigator Core and Apollo Basic together costs $8,339.40. Enrich.chat has unlimited seats, and a plan for 500 contacts a month with an email and a mobile costs $90 a month.

*Yearly list price of 5 seats billed annually, at prices checked October 15, 2026. Our arithmetic: seats times the annual price per seat. The tools sell different things, so this is the price of access, not of value. Credits per month assume each seat's yearly credits are spent evenly. Sources: [LinkedIn plans](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans), [Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

For one seller, Sales Navigator Core and Apollo Basic together cost $1,079.88 plus $588, or $1,667.88 a year. Credits pool across an Apollo team, and [unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits). Apollo's Free plan has no time limit and gives each seat 900 credits a year, granted monthly.

## Which gives you emails and phone numbers, Apollo or Sales Navigator?

Apollo does. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8, per [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). Sales Navigator does not look up emails or phone numbers. LinkedIn says a lead page shows contact information only if the member, your team or your CRM supplied it.

**Figure 2: Where contact details come from in each tool.** Three lanes. In Sales Navigator, contact information on a lead page comes from the member's own settings, from details typed in by your team, or from your CRM through CRM Sync, and Sales Navigator does not look it up. In Apollo, you reveal contact details from Apollo's database: an email costs 1 credit and a phone number 8 credits, and credits expire at the end of each cycle. In Enrich.chat, you send a public profile URL and get a work email with a status and a mobile with a line type, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits.

*Where an email or phone comes from in each tool. The 240M+ figure is Apollo's own claim. Sources: [LinkedIn lead pages help](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106049/lead-pages-in-sales-navigator-overview?lang=en), [CRM Sync help](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031), [Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Apollo homepage](https://www.apollo.io/), [Enrich.chat agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).*

On Apollo Basic billed annually, a credit costs about $0.02 if you spend all 30,000 a year. That makes an email about $0.02 and a phone number about $0.16. Apollo's [credits page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits) says it charges only for emails it can verify. Our [Apollo pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) and [Apollo phone numbers guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-phone-numbers/) show the math for each plan.

Exports differ too. LinkedIn says it [does not offer a way to export account and lead information](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031). Advanced Plus adds CRM Sync with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or HubSpot instead. Apollo lists CSV and CRM tools on its paid plans, per [its pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing).

### What does it cost to get 500 contacts with an email and a mobile?

The table prices one month for 500 people, each with a work email and a mobile. Apollo needs 4,500 credits, which is 500 times 9. We use list prices and assume you spend every credit.

| Option | Credits needed | Monthly cost at list price |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sales Navigator Core, 1 seat | None: no emails or mobiles are supplied | $89.99 billed annually, to find the people |
| Apollo Basic | 4,500 a month, so 2 seats of 2,500 | $98 billed annually, for 5,000 credits |
| Enrich.chat | 130,000 a month | $90 on the Scale plan, unlimited seats |

Sales Navigator and Apollo credits are different things, so the first row only prices the search. Apollo credits expire at the end of each billing cycle. Enrich.chat credits renew with each monthly payment, and unused credits do not roll over.

## Which has better data and search, Apollo or Sales Navigator?

Sales Navigator searches LinkedIn's own network, and Apollo searches its own database. Neither vendor publishes an independent test, and we ran none. The figures below are vendor claims and review scores.

| Measure | Apollo | Sales Navigator |
| --- | --- | --- |
| People searched | 240M+ contacts and 30M+ accounts, an Apollo claim | More than 1 billion members, per LinkedIn data from April 2026 |
| Search filters | Basic filters on Free, advanced filters on paid plans | 50+ filters on every plan |
| Results you can work with | Select 25 records at once on Free, 1,000 on Basic, 2,500 on Professional, 10,000 on Organization | A search shows up to 2,500 leads across 100 pages |
| Signals | 1 intent topic on Free, 6 on Basic and Professional, 12 on Organization | Lead and account alerts on every plan, Buyer Intent from Advanced |
| Reviewer score | 8.5 of 10, 76 reviews | 8.8 of 10, 106 reviews |

The Apollo cells come from its [homepage](https://www.apollo.io/) and [plan table](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). The Sales Navigator cells come from LinkedIn's [product page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator) and its [search limit page](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106030). The scores come from [SoftwareReviews](https://www.infotech.com/software-reviews/categories/sales-intelligence/compare/sales-navigator-vs-apollo-io), data as of October 15, 2026.

Freshness is the real split. LinkedIn says Sales Navigator [alerts you when a saved lead changes job or role](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator). Titles come from profiles that members update themselves, so a profile nobody edits goes stale, [SyncGTM notes](https://syncgtm.com/blog/apollo-io-vs-linkedin-sales-navigator). Apollo says its records are regularly updated, which is a vendor claim. LinkedIn's network shows who someone is, and Apollo's database shows how to reach them.

SoftwareReviews puts Sales Navigator ahead on score (8.8 against 8.5) and on whether the cost feels fair for the value (85% against 77%). Apollo leads on service experience (+95 against +86). Review counts are small, so treat gaps as small. [Datablist](https://www.datablist.com/how-to/sales-navigator-vs-apollo) suggests a fair test: run the same audience through both tools and check about 50 contacts.

## Which has better outreach tools?

Apollo sends sequences for you. Sales Navigator lets you message people on LinkedIn only. Sales Navigator gives 50 InMail credits a month, and LinkedIn does not sell more. Apollo's paid plans include unlimited sequences and a dialer, and its Chrome extension is free on every plan.

### What Sales Navigator gives you

- **InMail.** Every plan gets 50 credits a month. Unused credits build up to 150 and [must be used within 90 days](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/57013). A reply within 90 days returns the credit.
- **Warm introductions.** TeamLink, on Advanced and Advanced Plus, uses your team's connections to reach decision-makers, per [LinkedIn's plans page](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans).
- **CRM link.** [CRM Sync](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a102031) works with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot, and only on Advanced Plus.

### What Apollo gives you

- **Sequences.** Free allows 2 sequences per team. Basic and up allow unlimited sequences, per [Apollo's plan table](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). Free and Basic send up to 250 emails a day from 1 mailbox per user, and Professional has no set daily cap.
- **Dialer.** Paid plans include a US dialer, and US calls cost 1 credit per 30 seconds.
- **Extension.** Apollo says its [Chrome extension is free on every plan](https://www.apollo.io/product/chrome-extension), including Free. Our [Apollo Chrome extension review](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-chrome-extension/) covers its limits.

The two tools do different jobs. [Forma Norden's task comparison](https://formanorden.com/blog/linkedin-sales-navigator-vs-apollo-for-account-research/) rates Sales Navigator stronger for stakeholder research and Apollo stronger for contact-ready records and sequences. Enrich.chat has no InMail, sequences or dialer, so you send and call from your own tools.

## Can you use Apollo and Sales Navigator together?

Yes. Find the people in Sales Navigator, then get their contact details from another tool. The hard part is moving the data, because LinkedIn bans software that scrapes or copies profiles.

Apollo says its Chrome extension is designed to work with Sales Navigator, in an [Apollo blog post](https://apollo.io/blog/prospect-linkedin-chrome-extension) from 2021. What the extension can do on a Sales Navigator search page has changed since, so test it on your own account. LinkedIn's [Help Center](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387) says it does not permit third-party browser extensions that scrape or automate activity, and members who use them risk having accounts restricted or shut down. Whether a given extension crosses that line is a question for LinkedIn and the vendor. This is not legal advice. Our guide on [whether scraping LinkedIn is legal](https://enrich.chat/blog/is-linkedin-scraping-legal/) covers the court cases.

A lower-risk path starts from a public profile URL. Copy the person's linkedin.com/in/ address, not the linkedin.com/sales lead link, and look it up. Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn, and a URL is only a lookup key. For one profile, use the free [LinkedIn email and phone finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/). For a list, paste this prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor, followed by your URLs:

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to find the work email and mobile for each linkedin.com/in/ URL in my Sales Navigator list. Mark misses as not found, flag catch_all emails as risky, and tell me how many matched and the total credits_used so I can compare the cost with Apollo credits: [paste LinkedIn URLs]
```

Each work email comes back as `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`, and each mobile with a line type. Treat every contact as a strong lead, not a guarantee. See [how to find an email on LinkedIn](https://enrich.chat/blog/find-email-on-linkedin/) and [how to get a phone number from LinkedIn](https://enrich.chat/blog/find-phone-number-from-linkedin/) for the other methods.

## Can an AI agent use Apollo or Sales Navigator?

Apollo yes, Sales Navigator not directly. Apollo has a hosted MCP server and an API that spend your Apollo credits. LinkedIn limits its sales API to approved partners, and we found no MCP server published by LinkedIn.

- **Apollo MCP.** Per [Apollo's MCP docs](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp), it runs at mcp.apollo.io/mcp and connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Replit and Cursor. People sign in with OAuth, and headless clients use a master API key. Enrichment actions spend credits. Free accounts registered with a personal email address cannot use people or company search.
- **Apollo API.** [Apollo's API pricing page](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing) lists people enrichment at 1 credit, plus 8 if a mobile comes back, charged only if data is found. Our [Apollo API guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-api/) and [Apollo MCP guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-mcp-alternative/) cover the details.
- **LinkedIn.** Sales Navigator Application Platform permissions need approval as a [SNAP partner](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/shared/authentication/getting-access), per Microsoft Learn. See our guides to [LinkedIn MCP servers](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-mcp/) and [LinkedIn API pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/linkedin-api-pricing/).

Enrich.chat takes a shorter path. Add its MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp`, with no sign-in and no key (the [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has one-click links). Or have your agent read [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) once, then call a plain HTTPS API. It works in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, n8n and your own code, with 10 free lookups a day and no signup.

```
GET https://enrich.chat/v1/person
    ?linkedin_url=linkedin.com/in/jane-doe-ops
    &fields=email,mobile
{"found": true,
 "work_email": {"status": "verified"},
 "mobile": {"line": "mobile"},
 "credits_used": 260,
 "free_lookups_remaining": 9}
```

See [Enrich.chat for AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/) for the full endpoint list.

## When is Apollo, Sales Navigator or Enrich.chat the better choice?

Pick Apollo when reps need contact data and outreach in one seat. Pick Sales Navigator when the work happens on LinkedIn. Pick Enrich.chat when an AI agent or your own app needs the contact data.

**Figure 3: Which tool fits your main job.** Three paths. If you message buyers on LinkedIn or want warm introductions, choose Sales Navigator, from $89.99 a seat a month billed yearly. If reps want data, sequences and calls in a single app, choose Apollo, with a free plan and then $49 a seat a month billed yearly. If an AI agent or app needs work emails and mobiles, choose Enrich.chat, from $29 a month with unlimited seats. You can also use two together: find people in Sales Navigator, then add contact details from Apollo or a public profile URL lookup.

*A starting point by main job, based on each vendor's published plans on October 15, 2026. Sources: [LinkedIn plans](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans), [Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

### When Apollo is the better choice

- Your reps need emails and phone numbers, and you want them with sequences and a dialer in one seat.
- You want to start free. The Free plan gives 900 credits a seat a year, and Basic starts at $49 a seat a month billed annually.
- You want contacts to flow into a CRM or a CSV, which Apollo's paid plans support and Sales Navigator does not.

### When Sales Navigator is the better choice

- You message buyers you do not know. Every plan gives 50 InMails a month, and nothing else replaces them.
- You want warm introductions through your team's connections, which TeamLink offers on Advanced.
- You work a fixed list of accounts and want alerts when a lead changes role.
- Your team uses Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or HubSpot and wants Sales Navigator data in the CRM. That needs Advanced Plus, which is sold by quote.

### When Enrich.chat is the better choice

Enrich.chat fits when you already have the people, or an agent finds them, and you need work emails and mobiles. Plans start at $29 a month for 100,000 credits, with unlimited seats and no annual contract. A work email uses 10 credits and a mobile 250. A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits, and every match shows `credits_used`. Start with 10 free lookups a day, or log in on the [account page](https://enrich.chat/account/), pick a plan and pay at checkout, and your API key appears there. See the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).

Enrich.chat has two honest gaps next to Apollo and Sales Navigator:

- **No Chrome extension, sequences, dialer or visual list builder.** You search with the API or the [AI lead list builder](https://enrich.chat/tools/lead-list-builder/), and send from your own tools.
- **None of the LinkedIn-side features.** InMail, TeamLink, alerts and saved lead lists stay in Sales Navigator.

Mobiles carry rules for calls and texts. See our guide to [TCPA rules for B2B cold calling](https://enrich.chat/blog/tcpa-b2b-cold-calling/), and read the [terms](https://enrich.chat/terms/). ## Frequently asked questions

### Is Apollo better than LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

For emails, phone numbers, exports and outreach, yes. For LinkedIn research, InMail and warm introductions, no. [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) sells contact data and sequences from $49 a seat a month billed annually, while Sales Navigator [does not look up emails or phones](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106049/lead-pages-in-sales-navigator-overview?lang=en). [SoftwareReviews](https://www.infotech.com/software-reviews/categories/sales-intelligence/compare/sales-navigator-vs-apollo-io) scores Sales Navigator 8.8 and Apollo 8.5 out of 10, so reviewers rate both well. Many teams use both.

### Is Apollo cheaper than LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

Yes, per seat. [Apollo Basic](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) costs $49 a month billed annually or $65 billed monthly, and the Free plan costs nothing. [Sales Navigator Core](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans) costs $119.99 a month, or $1,079.88 a year. Apollo's price buys contact data and outreach tools, and Sales Navigator's buys LinkedIn search and InMail. For 5 sellers billed annually, Core lists at $5,399.40 a year and Apollo Basic at $2,940.

### Can you use Apollo with LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

Yes. Apollo says its [Chrome extension is free on every plan](https://www.apollo.io/product/chrome-extension), and an [Apollo blog post](https://apollo.io/blog/prospect-linkedin-chrome-extension) says it is designed to work with Sales Navigator. LinkedIn's Help Center says it [does not permit third-party extensions that scrape or automate activity](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1341387), and that accounts risk restriction. Use any extension by hand only, or look up public profile URLs with an API that never logs in to LinkedIn. This is not legal advice.

### Does Sales Navigator give you email addresses and phone numbers?

Only when someone supplied them. LinkedIn's Help Center says [contact information on a lead page](https://www.linkedin.com/help/sales-navigator/answer/a106049/lead-pages-in-sales-navigator-overview?lang=en) comes from the member's privacy settings, from you or a teammate typing it in, or from your CRM. Sales Navigator does not find emails or phones for you. Apollo charges 1 credit for an email and 8 for a phone number. Enrich.chat takes a public LinkedIn URL and returns a work email and a mobile when it finds a match.

### Is there a free alternative to LinkedIn Sales Navigator?

For light use, yes. Sales Navigator has no free plan, only [a free trial that asks for payment details](https://business.linkedin.com/sell/sales-navigator/compare-plans). [Apollo's Free plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) gives 900 credits a seat a year, enough for 900 emails or 112 phone numbers, with basic filters. Enrich.chat gives each IP address 10 free lookups a day with no signup, but it has no LinkedIn search screen. See our [Sales Navigator alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/linkedin-sales-navigator/).

### Can an AI agent use Apollo or Sales Navigator?

Apollo yes, Sales Navigator not directly. Apollo runs a [hosted MCP server](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp) that connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Replit and Cursor, and enrichment spends your Apollo credits. LinkedIn limits its sales API to [approved Sales Navigator Application Platform partners](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/linkedin/shared/authentication/getting-access), and we found no MCP server published by LinkedIn. Enrich.chat's MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp needs no sign-in or key, and your agent can also read [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).
