# Clearbit vs Apollo in 2026: one is now a HubSpot feature, the other a sales platform

Clearbit no longer sells standalone plans, so this is no longer a like-for-like match. We read HubSpot's, Clearbit's and Apollo's own pages on October 16, 2026 to show what each does for a buyer today.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 16, 2026.

**Short answer:** You can no longer buy Clearbit on its own, so the match is now HubSpot's data enrichment against Apollo. [HubSpot's help article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment) says enrichment uses no HubSpot Credits, and [its catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) lists a Starter seat at $20 a month. It fills job and company fields, not contact emails or mobiles. [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) is a database with outreach tools, from $49 a seat a month billed yearly.

## Key takeaways

- Clearbit sells no new standalone subscriptions, and clearbit.com/pricing now shows a page that says Clearbit has joined HubSpot. HubSpot sells the data as enrichment, buyer intent and form shortening.
- HubSpot's enrichment fills 14 contact and 29 company properties from a business email or a domain. None of the contact properties is an email address or a mobile number.
- Apollo has a free plan, then $49, $79 or $119 a seat a month billed yearly. An email costs 1 credit and a mobile 8, and unused credits expire each cycle.
- A HubSpot Starter seat lists at $20 a month. Sequences need Sales Hub Professional at $90 a seat billed annually plus a $1,500 onboarding fee, while Apollo includes sequences on every plan.
- HubSpot's prospecting agent can source new contacts through one connected provider, and Apollo is one of the four it lists, so the two can work together.

## Quick verdict

Pick **Clearbit's data inside HubSpot** if your records and forms already live in HubSpot and you need job and company fields filled. Pick **Apollo** to find and contact new prospects. If you only need work emails and mobiles inside an AI agent or app, **Enrich.chat** has credit plans from $29 with unlimited seats.

- Enrich HubSpot records and forms: Clearbit in HubSpot (Uses no HubSpot Credits, needs a paid seat)
- Find and contact new prospects: Apollo (Free plan, then from $49 a seat a month billed yearly)
- Contact data inside an AI agent or app: Enrich.chat (Credit plans from $29, 10 free lookups a day)

## Side by side

- **Clearbit in HubSpot** (Best for HubSpot teams that enrich records and forms): Data enrichment, buyer intent and form shortening on a paid HubSpot seat. Clearbit sells no new standalone plans, and enrichment fills job and company fields but not contact emails or mobiles.
- **Apollo** (Best for finding and contacting new prospects): A contact database with sequences, a dialer and deal tools on one login, from $49 a seat a month billed yearly. An email costs 1 credit and a mobile 8.

## What is the difference between Clearbit and Apollo in 2026?

Clearbit is now a HubSpot feature, and Apollo is still a standalone sales platform. You cannot buy Clearbit on its own, so the old head-to-head no longer holds. [Clearbit's help center](https://web.archive.org/web/20250807091411/https://help.clearbit.com/hc/en-us/articles/20717192156695-How-Can-I-Buy-Clearbit), in a copy archived on August 7, 2025, says it no longer offers new standalone subscriptions. [Clearbit's home page](https://clearbit.com/), live on October 16, 2026, announces that Clearbit has joined HubSpot and offers a customer login but no sign-up.

What a new buyer can get is HubSpot's data enrichment, with buyer intent and form shortening beside it. [HubSpot's help article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment) says enrichment uses no HubSpot Credits but needs a paid plan and seat. Apollo sells a contact database with sequences, a dialer and deal tools, and [its pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) lists a free plan. Our guides to [HubSpot Breeze Intelligence](https://enrich.chat/blog/hubspot-breeze-intelligence/) and [Clearbit pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/clearbit-pricing/) cover the rename and the seat prices.

|  | Clearbit in HubSpot | Apollo |
| --- | --- | --- |
| What you get | Data enrichment, buyer intent and form shortening | A contact database, sequences, a dialer, deal tools and enrichment |
| How you buy | A paid HubSpot seat. No standalone Clearbit plan | Self-serve plans, or a Custom quote |
| Entry price | Starter seat at $20 a month | Free, then $49 a seat a month billed yearly |
| Where it runs | Inside HubSpot, on HubSpot records | Its own app, with CRM sync |
| Finds new people | Not through enrichment | Yes, by search and credits |

Several top results for this search predate the change. [Vector's comparison](https://www.vector.co/compare/clearbit-vs-apollo-io) still lists Clearbit as credit-based with an opaque price. [ZoomInfo's blog](https://pipeline.zoominfo.com/sales/clearbit-vs-apollo) says Clearbit's standalone APIs are gone, but [Clearbit's release notes](https://clearbit.com/changelog), last updated November 24, 2025, give no end date for its paid APIs. [Apollo's own comparison](https://www.apollo.io/insights/apollo-vs-clearbit), dated July 31, 2026, says Clearbit has no standalone price page, yet [HubSpot's catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) lists seat prices.

If you only need contact data inside an AI agent or an app, [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) is a third option, with credit plans from $29. This page compares all three.

## How do their data, inputs and refresh compare?

They start from different inputs and return different fields. HubSpot's enrichment fills job and company fields on records you already hold. Apollo returns similar fields, plus work emails and mobiles, for credits. Figure 1 shows the flow.

**Figure 1: What goes in and what comes out of each product.** Three rows show the inputs, the product and the outputs. HubSpot data enrichment takes a work email and name or a company domain, uses no credits and needs a paid seat, and fills job title, seniority, LinkedIn URL, location, company size and technology, but no work email or mobile. Apollo people enrichment takes an email, name, domain or LinkedIn URL, uses 1 to 9 credits, and returns title, seniority, LinkedIn URL and location, with an email at 1 credit and a mobile at 8. Enrich.chat takes a LinkedIn URL, a work email or a name plus company website, and returns the title, company and LinkedIn URL, a work email with its status and a mobile with its line type, with 0 credits for a miss.

*Inputs and outputs as each vendor documents them, read October 16, 2026. Sources: [HubSpot enrichment explainer](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/how-data-enrichment-works-in-hubspot), [HubSpot property list](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/enrich-your-contact-and-company-data), [Apollo People Enrichment](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment), [Apollo API pricing](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing), [Enrich.chat agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).*

- **HubSpot's inputs.** Per [HubSpot's explainer](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/how-data-enrichment-works-in-hubspot), contact enrichment uses first name, last name and work email, and company enrichment uses the domain. [HubSpot's property list](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/enrich-your-contact-and-company-data) says Gmail or Yahoo addresses are not enriched.
- **HubSpot's fields.** The list, updated October 7, 2026, has 14 contact and 29 company properties. They include job title, seniority, LinkedIn URL, location, revenue range, employee range, industry and web technologies.
- **Apollo's inputs.** [Apollo's People Enrichment docs](https://docs.apollo.io/reference/people-enrichment) accept a name, an email, an employer or domain, a LinkedIn URL or an Apollo ID. They return a title, seniority, LinkedIn URL, location and an email with a status. A mobile arrives by webhook, and Apollo says that can take several minutes.
- **Refresh.** [HubSpot's settings article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/manage-data-enrichment-settings) says continuous enrichment updates enriched records monthly, and its [product page](https://www.hubspot.com/products/crm/data-enrichment) says enrichment runs in real time, typically within seconds. [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/product/data) says its data is regularly refreshed and gives no schedule.

Clearbit's pages and HubSpot's list differ. [Clearbit's home page](https://clearbit.com/) promises 6-digit NAICS, GICS and SIC codes and parent-company links, and HubSpot's older [Clearbit by HubSpot page](https://www.hubspot.com/products/clearbit) claims 100+ data points a record. HubSpot's current list has no code or parent field and 43 properties in all, two of them opt-out flags. Ask HubSpot which fields your plan returns.

| Vendor claim | Apollo | HubSpot and Clearbit |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Size | 240M+ contacts and 30M+ accounts | HubSpot: 100M+ company domains and 380M email addresses indexed. Clearbit: global coverage, no count |
| Email accuracy | 98%, method not stated | No figure published |
| Fields | 65+ data points for every contact and account | 14 contact and 29 company enrichment properties |
| Sources | A data contributor network, plus 20+ waterfall partners | HubSpot's commercial dataset, third-party providers and public web pages |

Sources: [Apollo's data page](https://www.apollo.io/product/data) and [credits page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits), [HubSpot's enrichment page](https://www.hubspot.com/products/crm/data-enrichment) and [help article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment), read October 16, 2026. Every number is a vendor claim. We found no independent head-to-head test and ran none, so try each tool on 100 of your own contacts. Our [data enrichment guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/what-is-data-enrichment/) explains what to check.

## Can either one find new prospects, emails and mobile numbers?

Apollo can. Clearbit inside HubSpot cannot on its own, because enrichment needs a person already in your CRM. HubSpot's prospecting agent can source new contacts through a provider you connect.

- **Apollo.** You filter its database by role, industry, size and place, then spend credits to reveal contact details. [Apollo's credits page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits) sets 1 credit for an email and 8 for a phone number. Searching for people through the API uses no credits, per [Apollo's API pricing](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing). Its Chrome extension, listed at 1,000,000 users and 4.6 from 2.2K ratings on the [Chrome Web Store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/apolloio-free-b2b-phone-n/alhgpfoeiimagjlnfekdhkjlkiomcapa), brings this to LinkedIn and Gmail. See our [Apollo extension review](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-chrome-extension/).
- **HubSpot.** [HubSpot's prospecting agent article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/prospecting/use-the-prospecting-agent), updated October 14, 2026, says you can connect one outside data source to find new contacts: Apollo, Surfe, ZoomInfo or Seamless. [HubSpot's catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) charges 100 credits, or $1.00 at $0.010 a credit, each time the agent recommends outreach for a lead.
- **Clearbit's old tools.** Clearbit Connect, the Gmail extension, ended on April 30, 2025, per [Clearbit's release notes](https://clearbit.com/changelog). Our [Breeze Intelligence guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/hubspot-breeze-intelligence/) found no named successor for Prospector, its contact search. See the [Clearbit Connect alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/clearbit-connect/) if you used the extension.

## How do outreach, buyer intent and CRM fit compare?

Apollo has outreach built in. HubSpot has the CRM, forms and intent around Clearbit's data, and you move up a plan to send sequences.

### Outreach and sequences

Apollo's Free plan includes 2 sequences and 250 sends a day. Basic and above have unlimited sequences and a US dialer at 1 credit per 30 seconds, per [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing). HubSpot's enrichment sends no email. [HubSpot's Sales Hub pricing](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/sales) lists sequences from Professional, at $90 a seat a month billed annually, plus a required $1,500 onboarding fee.

### Buyer intent and website visitors

HubSpot's buyer intent matches site visits to companies through the HubSpot tracking code, per [its help article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/reports/use-buyer-intent). Seeing more than 20 companies in a view needs credits, and tracking one company for a month uses 10 credits, or $0.10, per [HubSpot's catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog). Apollo lists 1 intent topic on Free, 6 on Basic and Professional, and 12 on Organization. It identifies 20 visiting companies a month on Free and 100 on paid plans. Our [intent data guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/intent-data/) explains topic and visitor intent.

### CRM fit and forms

Clearbit's data lives in HubSpot. [HubSpot's form shortening](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/forms/use-form-shortening) shows only the email field first, then hides fields that enrichment can fill. Apollo has real-time form enrichment with a cap by plan, and syncs with Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive from Basic. HubSpot's articles describe enriching HubSpot records, and we found no steps for other CRMs. See also [enriching HubSpot contacts through an API](https://enrich.chat/integrations/hubspot/).

## How much do Clearbit and Apollo cost in 2026?

Clearbit has no price list. You pay for HubSpot, where a Starter seat lists at $20 a month and enrichment uses no credits. Apollo costs $49, $79 or $119 a seat a month billed yearly, with a free plan. We checked every price below on October 16, 2026.

| Product and plan | List price | What it adds |
| --- | --- | --- |
| HubSpot Starter seat | $20 a month. New customers saw $7 in a limited offer | Enrichment, form shortening, 500 HubSpot Credits a month |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Professional seat | $90 a month billed annually, $100 with monthly billing | Sequences, 3,000 credits, $1,500 required onboarding |
| HubSpot Credits | $0.010 each, or $10 for 1,000 | Buyer intent: 10 credits a company a month |
| Apollo Free | $0 | 75 credits a seat a month, 2 sequences |
| Apollo Basic | $49 billed yearly, $65 billed monthly | 2,500 credits a month, unlimited sequences, US dialer |
| Apollo Professional | $79 billed yearly, $99 billed monthly | 4,000 credits a month, A/Z testing, AI lead scoring |
| Apollo Organization | $119 billed yearly, annual only | 3 seats minimum, 72,000 credits a seat a year, 12 intent topics |

Prices come from [HubSpot's catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog), its [Data Hub](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/data) and [Sales Hub](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/sales) pricing pages in US dollars, and [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) in both billing views. Apollo's prices exclude tax. See our [Apollo pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/) for the credit math.

**Figure 2: What one seat costs a month at list price.** Bar chart of list prices in US dollars. A HubSpot Starter seat, which includes enrichment, costs $20 a month. An Apollo Basic seat costs $49 a month billed yearly and $65 billed monthly. A HubSpot Sales Hub Professional seat, which adds sequences, costs $90 a month billed annually plus a $1,500 setup fee. The Enrich.chat Growth plan costs $29 a month for the whole team, with unlimited seats.

*List price a month at the lowest billing view, checked October 16, 2026. HubSpot also showed $7 a seat for new customers in a limited offer. Sales Hub Professional adds sequences and needs the one-time fee. The products return different data, so this compares price only. Sources: [HubSpot catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog), [Sales Hub pricing](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/sales), [Apollo pricing](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

### What does a month of work cost?

The right comparison depends on the job. HubSpot charges a seat and no credits for enrichment. Apollo charges credits for each reveal. Enrich.chat charges credits for each match, inside a monthly plan.

| Monthly job | Clearbit in HubSpot | Apollo | Enrich.chat |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| 5,000 company profiles from domains you hold | 0 credits. A paid seat, from $20 a month | 5,000 credits at 1 each, which is 2 Basic seats: $130 a month billed monthly, or $98 billed yearly | 25,000 credits: Growth plan, $29 a month |
| Three reps share 1,000 work emails and 100 mobiles | Not returned by enrichment | 1,800 credits. Three Basic seats, one per rep: $195 a month billed monthly, or $147 billed yearly | 35,000 credits: Growth plan, $29 a month, unlimited seats |
| Watch 500 companies for buyer intent | 5,000 credits, or $50 at $0.010, before any included credits | 6 intent topics on Basic. No per-company fee is listed | Not offered |

Apollo's numbers use 1 credit for an email and 8 for a mobile, per [its credits page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing/about-credits), and 1 for organization enrichment, per its [API pricing](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing). Apollo's credits expire each cycle, so a half-used seat costs twice as much per contact. An Enrich.chat plan is a fixed monthly price, so each job above uses only part of it. Pro-rated at the plan's own rate, the 5,000-profile job is worth $7.25 of credits. The tools return different data, and this page makes no claim about which finds more of your list.

### What can a standalone Clearbit customer still get?

A new buyer gets no standalone plan, and an existing customer keeps a login. [Clearbit's archived help page](https://web.archive.org/web/20250807091411/https://help.clearbit.com/hc/en-us/articles/20717192156695-How-Can-I-Buy-Clearbit) says a new user must first be added to the customer's HubSpot account. [Clearbit's release notes](https://clearbit.com/changelog) list no end date for the paid APIs, and clearbit.com/docs redirected to the customer login on October 16, 2026, so we could not read the API docs. We found no public price for existing contracts, so ask your account contact for renewal terms in writing.

## What contract and cancellation terms should you check?

HubSpot cancels at the end of its term only. Apollo cancels at the end of a monthly or yearly term, and its yearly plans lock you in for 12 months. Read the renewal clause before you pay for a year.

### HubSpot's terms

- The Data Hub page shows Starter with "Commit monthly" and Professional with "Commit annually", even when you pay by the month.
- Per [HubSpot's cancellation article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/how-do-i-cancel-my-hubspot-account), mid-contract cancellations and downgrades are not permitted. You turn off auto-renewal and keep paying until the term ends. HubSpot asks you to contact it at least five business days before a downgrade.
- [Sales Hub pricing](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing/sales) shows required one-time onboarding fees of $1,500 for Professional and $3,500 for Enterprise.

### Apollo's terms

- Per [Apollo's pricing FAQ](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), monthly billing is month to month, and annual billing commits you for 12 months. Downgrades apply at once, with no refund for unused time.
- [Apollo's Terms](https://www.apollo.io/terms), updated August 10, 2026, renew a term automatically unless you give notice 30 days before it ends. They call fees non-cancelable and non-refundable, and let Apollo change the fee at renewal.

Enrich.chat plans are billed monthly with unlimited seats, and you cancel anytime. Credits renew with each monthly payment, and unused credits do not roll over. See the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) and the [terms](https://enrich.chat/terms/).

## Can your AI agent or app use Clearbit or Apollo?

Apollo can, through an API and an MCP server that need an account and spend your credits. A new buyer cannot get Clearbit's API, and HubSpot's enrichment works inside HubSpot.

- **Apollo MCP.** Per [Apollo's MCP docs](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/apollo-mcp), built-in connectors cover ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Replit and Cursor, with OAuth sign-in, and a script can use an API key instead. Apollo asks you to turn model training off in your AI client.
- **Apollo API.** [Apollo's API pricing page](https://docs.apollo.io/docs/api-pricing) charges 1 credit for a person's profile and email, plus 8 if a mobile comes back, and only when data is found. [Apollo's pricing FAQ](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) limits plans to internal business use. Powering an external product or reselling needs a separate agreement.
- **Clearbit and HubSpot.** HubSpot's articles describe enrichment as a feature of HubSpot records, and we found no endpoint for your own code. Our [HubSpot MCP guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/hubspot-mcp/) shows how to reach HubSpot from Claude.

Enrich.chat takes a shorter path. Add its MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp`, with no key, or have your agent read [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) once and call a plain HTTPS API. The [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has one-click steps for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and more. You get 10 free lookups a day without signup. A LinkedIn URL works as a lookup key, and Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn.

```
GET https://enrich.chat/v1/person
    ?linkedin_url=linkedin.com/in/jane-doe-ops
    &fields=email,mobile
{"found": true,
 "work_email": {"status": "verified"},
 "mobile": {"line": "mobile"},
 "credits_used": 260,
 "free_lookups_remaining": 9}
```

## When is Clearbit, Apollo or Enrich.chat the better choice?

Pick Clearbit's data in HubSpot to enrich the records you already hold. Pick Apollo to find, email and call new prospects in one app. Pick Enrich.chat when an AI agent or your own code needs the contact data. Figure 3 sorts the choice.

**Figure 3: Which product fits your records and your team.** A decision tree. If your records live in HubSpot, ask whether you need new emails or mobile numbers. If not, use HubSpot data enrichment. If so, add Apollo or Enrich.chat to fill the gaps. If your records do not live in HubSpot, ask who will use the contact data. Reps working in an app should use Apollo, and an AI agent or your own code should use Enrich.chat.

*A starting point, not a ranking. Teams on HubSpot Sales Hub Professional can also send sequences from HubSpot. Our reading of [HubSpot's enrichment article](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/get-started-with-data-enrichment), [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) and [Enrich.chat agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md), October 16, 2026.*

### When Clearbit's data in HubSpot is the better choice

- Your records, forms and workflows already live in HubSpot, and the seat is already paid for. Enrichment adds no per-record fee.
- You want form shortening and automatic enrichment of new records, which HubSpot runs for you.
- You want buyer intent next to your CRM records, and you can install the HubSpot tracking code.

### When Apollo is the better choice

- Your reps prospect, sequence and call in one place. The seat includes sequences, a US dialer and a Chrome extension, from $49 a seat a month billed yearly.
- You need to find people you do not hold yet, with filters, and reveal emails at 1 credit each.
- You use Salesforce or Pipedrive, which HubSpot's enrichment articles do not cover.

Reviews are mixed. [Trustpilot](https://www.trustpilot.com/review/apollo.io) shows Apollo at 3.1 of 5 from 1,370 reviews, citing hard-to-reach support and rigid billing. Clearbit has too few Trustpilot reviews to quote.

### When Enrich.chat is the better choice

Enrich.chat fits when you need work emails and mobiles inside an AI agent, a sheet or your own app, not a sales workspace. Plans start at $29 a month for 100,000 credits, with unlimited seats and no annual contract. Each work email comes back marked verified, catch_all or unknown, and each mobile comes back with its line type. Start with 10 free lookups a day, or try one profile in the free [LinkedIn email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/). Keep batches to about one request a second. To buy a plan, log in on the [account page](https://enrich.chat/account/).

Enrich.chat has honest gaps next to both:

- **No sequencing, dialer, Chrome extension or visual list builder.** You bring your own outreach tool.
- **No CRM app, form shortening or buyer intent.** There is no HubSpot app. You call the API or the MCP server, and SDKs are planned, not available.
- **Work emails only on the email input.** `/v1/person` takes a work email, not a personal mailbox such as Gmail. A name needs a company website, because company names alone are not supported.

```text
Use www.enrich.chat to look up the contacts below. For each one, use the LinkedIn URL if I give one, or else the name and company website. Return the title, the work email with its status and the mobile with its line type, mark misses as not found, and tell me the total credits_used so I can compare it with an Apollo seat or a HubSpot seat: [paste contacts]
```

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you still buy Clearbit on its own in 2026?

No. [Clearbit's help center](https://web.archive.org/web/20250807091411/https://help.clearbit.com/hc/en-us/articles/20717192156695-How-Can-I-Buy-Clearbit), in an archived copy, says it no longer offers new standalone subscriptions and points new buyers to HubSpot. [Clearbit's home page](https://clearbit.com/) says Clearbit has joined HubSpot, and clearbit.com/pricing redirects to it. Existing customers keep a login, and [Clearbit's release notes](https://clearbit.com/changelog), last updated November 24, 2025, give no end date for its paid APIs. See our [Clearbit pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/clearbit-pricing/).

### Is Clearbit or Apollo cheaper in 2026?

It depends on the job, because Clearbit now costs a HubSpot seat. [HubSpot's catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) lists a Starter seat at $20 a month, and enrichment uses no HubSpot Credits. [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) costs $49 a seat a month billed yearly, or $65 billed monthly, and charges 1 credit for an email and 8 for a mobile. HubSpot's enrichment returns no emails or mobiles, so the two do different work. Checked October 16, 2026.

### Does Clearbit still find email addresses and phone numbers?

Not through HubSpot's enrichment. [HubSpot's property list](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/enrich-your-contact-and-company-data), updated October 7, 2026, has 14 contact properties, and none is an email address or a mobile number. Contacts need a business email already, and Gmail or Yahoo addresses are skipped. [HubSpot's prospecting agent](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/prospecting/use-the-prospecting-agent) can source new contacts through a connected provider such as Apollo. Apollo reveals emails and mobiles directly.

### Can you use Apollo with HubSpot?

Yes. [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) lists CRM integrations with Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive. In the other direction, [HubSpot's prospecting agent](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/prospecting/use-the-prospecting-agent) can connect one outside data source, and Apollo is one of the four it lists, with Surfe, ZoomInfo and Seamless. Check which account's credits each lookup spends before you switch it on.

### How much did HubSpot pay for Clearbit?

HubSpot paid $140.4 million in cash, net of cash acquired, for APIHub, Inc., which did business as Clearbit. [HubSpot's 2023 annual report](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1404655/000095017024015277/hubs-20231231.htm) says the deal closed on December 1, 2023. New Clearbit sign-ups needed a HubSpot account from December 5, 2023, per [Clearbit's release notes](https://clearbit.com/changelog). Our [HubSpot Breeze Intelligence guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/hubspot-breeze-intelligence/) has the full timeline.

### What can you use for contact data if you use neither?

For contact data inside an AI agent or app, Enrich.chat sells monthly credit plans: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. Every plan has unlimited seats and no annual contract. A work email uses 10 credits and a mobile 250, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. Each IP gets 10 free lookups a day without signup. It has no sequencer, CRM app or Chrome extension. See our [Clearbit alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/clearbit/) and [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/).

Use www.enrich.chat to look up the contacts below. For each one, use the LinkedIn URL if I give one, or else the name and company website. Return the title, the work email with its status and the mobile with its line type, mark misses as not found, and tell me the total credits_used so I can compare it with an Apollo seat or a HubSpot seat: [paste contacts]
