# ZoomInfo vs Cognism in 2026: pricing, contracts, data and AI access

ZoomInfo and Cognism both hide their prices. We compared them on their own pages, with sourced price ranges, contract terms and data claims, and show where a monthly credit plan fits instead.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** ZoomInfo and Cognism both sell by quote, so neither publishes a platform price. [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) reports a ZoomInfo median of $33,500 a year, and [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/cognism-pricing) averages $24,387 a year for Cognism at 50 to 1,000 employees. ZoomInfo is the broader platform, with intent data and, per Vendr, deeper North America coverage. Cognism is Europe-first and built around phone-verified mobiles.

## Key takeaways

- Neither vendor publishes a platform price. SpendHound averages $49,097 a year for ZoomInfo and $24,387 for Cognism at 50 to 1,000 employees, and Vendr puts the ZoomInfo median at $33,500.
- ZoomInfo's 10-K says contracts typically run one to three years and are non-cancelable. Cognism's October 2026 terms renew an order for at least a year unless you give 60 days of notice.
- ZoomInfo claims 500M+ profiles, 135M+ direct dials and 4,500+ intent topics. Cognism publishes no totals, and its Pro package adds mobile verification and Bombora intent data.
- Both have MCP servers that need an account. Cognism spends credits and search tokens, and ZoomInfo's self-serve GTM AI gives 1,000 free data credits but lists mobile data as Enterprise.
- For 1,000 contacts a month with an email and a mobile, Enrich.chat needs 260,000 credits, which fits the Scale plan at $90 a month, with unlimited seats.

## Quick verdict

Pick **ZoomInfo** for North America, intent data and a full sales suite, and **Cognism** for European cold-calling with phone-verified mobiles. If you only need contact data inside an AI agent or app, **Enrich.chat** is the simpler buy: credit plans from $29, unlimited seats, no annual contract.

- Selling in North America, on intent: ZoomInfo (By quote, typically 1 to 3 year terms)
- Cold-calling in Europe: Cognism (By quote, 5 seats per package)
- Contact data in an AI agent or app: Enrich.chat (Credit plans from $29, 10 free lookups a day)

## Side by side

- **ZoomInfo** (Best for North America and intent data): A large platform with 4,500+ claimed intent topics, a Chrome extension, a dialer and an MCP server, sold by quote on contracts that typically run one to three years.
- **Cognism** (Best for European cold-calling): A Europe-first data platform with phone-verified mobiles, do-not-call screening and Bombora intent on Pro. Standard and Pro each include 5 seats and are sold by quote.

## What is the difference between ZoomInfo and Cognism?

ZoomInfo is a large go-to-market platform with intent data, a dialer and its own AI products, sold by quote. Cognism is a Europe-first data platform that stresses phone-verified mobiles and do-not-call screening, also sold by quote. We read both vendors' own pages on October 15, 2026.

[ZoomInfo's pricing page](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) shows no dollar prices, only trial and demo buttons. [Cognism's pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) lists a Standard and a Pro package with 5 seats each and sends you to a sales form. Each vendor also runs a comparison page, [ZoomInfo's](https://www.zoominfo.com/compare/cognism-vs-zoominfo) and [Cognism's](https://www.cognism.com/cognism-vs-zoominfo), and each favors its author. We label which claims are theirs.

|  | ZoomInfo | Cognism |
| --- | --- | --- |
| How you buy | Seats, credits, package and term set by quote | Standard or Pro, 5 seats each, by quote |
| What a credit does | 1 credit per exported contact or company profile | 1 credit per revealed contact; each seat has an allowance |
| Mobile numbers | Listed on Professional; claims 135M+ direct dials | In both packages; Pro adds a premium mobile filter and on-demand verification |
| Buying signals | Claims 4,500+ intent topics; intent starts at Copilot Advanced | Bombora intent on Pro, up to 12 topics |
| Free option | ZoomInfo Lite, 10 credits a month; a 7-day trial is typical | No free plan; a free data sample on request |
| AI agent access | MCP server, plus GTM AI for API, MCP and CLI | MCP and API access in both packages |

The cells come from ZoomInfo's [pricing guide](https://pipeline.zoominfo.com/sales/how-much-does-zoominfo-cost) and [data page](https://www.zoominfo.com/data), and Cognism's [data sample page](https://www.cognism.com/datasample). Vendr, a software buying service, adds a neutral view in its [ZoomInfo guide](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo): ZoomInfo often needs a multi-seat annual commitment, Cognism is flexible for smaller teams, and ZoomInfo's North America depth is typically stronger.

If you only need contact data, in an AI agent or your own app, a credit-plan API such as [Enrich.chat](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) is a third option. See also our [ZoomInfo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/zoominfo/) and [Cognism alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/cognism/).

## How much do ZoomInfo and Cognism cost in 2026?

Neither vendor publishes a platform price. [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) reports a median ZoomInfo contract of $33,500 a year, and [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/cognism-pricing) averages $24,387 a year for Cognism and $49,097 for ZoomInfo at companies with 50 to 1,000 employees. We checked every figure on October 15, 2026.

| Price point | Figure | Basis |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ZoomInfo median contract | $33,500 a year; range $7,240 to $156,042 | Reported, [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo), 1,577 purchases, updated February 2026 |
| ZoomInfo average, 50 to 1,000 employees | $49,097 a year | Reported, [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/zoominfo-pricing), updated October 1, 2026 |
| ZoomInfo average, over 1,000 employees | $243,246 a year | Reported, [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/zoominfo-pricing) |
| Cognism average, 50 to 1,000 employees | $24,387 a year | Reported, [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/cognism-pricing), updated October 1, 2026 |
| Cognism average, over 1,000 employees | $163,272 a year | Reported, [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/cognism-pricing) |
| ZoomInfo Sales Basic: 1 user, 2,000 bulk credits | $3,000 for 12 months | List price, [AWS Marketplace](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-ckg6rmyo3zsmw) |
| ZoomInfo GTM AI data credits | $0.38 each at the $1,000 spend tier; top-ups from $20 | Published, [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) |
| ZoomInfo Lite | $0, 10 credits a month | Published, [ZoomInfo pricing guide](https://pipeline.zoominfo.com/sales/how-much-does-zoominfo-cost) |
| Cognism packages and credits | No price, no credit count, no free plan | [Cognism pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing); a free data sample on request |

Read these as guides, not quotes. Vendr reports a median and SpendHound an average, so the two do not line up. SpendHound gives no range, seat count or credit count, and its year-over-year note for Cognism rests on 22 customers. Cognism's pricing page says each seat includes a credit allowance, with no numbers, so ask for it in writing. Our [Cognism pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/cognism-pricing/) covers mid-2026 tracker figures that we could not confirm.

GTM AI is the one ZoomInfo product with published credit prices. It gives 1,000 data credits and 1,000 AI credits free at signup, with no card. Other pages on this site quote a $0.45 to $0.25 range per credit. This page uses only what [GTM AI's page](https://gtm.ai/pricing) shows today: $0.38 a credit at the $1,000 spend tier, before a limited 70% first-purchase offer. Our [ZoomInfo pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/) goes deeper.

**Figure 1: What a year costs, by the figures we found.** Bar chart of yearly cost on October 15, 2026. SpendHound's average ZoomInfo spend at 50 to 1,000 employees is $49,097. Vendr's median ZoomInfo contract is $33,500. SpendHound's average Cognism spend at the same size is $24,387. ZoomInfo Sales Basic on AWS Marketplace lists at $3,000 for one user. Enrich.chat costs $90 a month on the Scale plan, which covers 1,000 contacts a month with an email and a mobile, for twelve monthly payments. The bars are not like for like.

*A year of cost at the figures we found, checked October 15, 2026. SpendHound's averages cover companies with 50 to 1,000 employees and Vendr's median covers every size, so the bars are not like for like. The Enrich.chat bar is twelve monthly payments for the plan that fits 1,000 contacts a month with an email and a mobile, with unlimited seats; ZoomInfo and Cognism also sell a web app, signals and support. Sources: [SpendHound ZoomInfo](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/zoominfo-pricing), [SpendHound Cognism](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/cognism-pricing), [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo), [AWS Marketplace](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-ckg6rmyo3zsmw), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

Enrich.chat sells monthly credit plans: Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits. A work email uses 10 credits and a mobile 250. The same 1,000 contacts with an email and a mobile need 260,000 credits, which fits the Scale plan at $90 a month, with unlimited seats. A lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. This compares price only. The [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) lists every plan.

## What do the ZoomInfo and Cognism contracts say?

ZoomInfo's 10-K says its subscriptions typically run one to three years and are non-cancelable. Cognism's October 2026 terms renew an order for the longer of its first term or one year, unless you give 60 days of written notice. Both lock in fees, so read the order form before you sign.

|  | ZoomInfo | Cognism |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Typical term | One to three years, billed in advance, per its [10-K](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1794515/000179451526000012/zi-20251231.htm) | Set in the order; renews for the longer of that term or one year (section 10.1) |
| Cancel early | Agreement is not cancellable (section 3.1 of the [license terms](https://www.zoominfo.com/legal/ltc)) | Fees are non-cancellable and non-refundable, except when an order ends for cause (section 5.1) |
| Renewal notice | Set in your order form; [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) reports 30 to 90 days | At least 60 days of written notice before the term ends (section 10.1) |
| Price rises | Vendr reports 5% to 10% a year | Capped at 10% on each renewal (section 5.4) |
| Late payment | 1.5% interest a month (section 4.2) | The lower of 1.5% a month or the legal maximum (section 5.2) |
| Refunds | The AWS listing says it does not support refunds | Prepaid unused fees are refunded when an order ends for cause |

The Cognism rows come from its [General Terms and Conditions, October 2026 version](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc). The ZoomInfo rows come from its [license terms](https://www.zoominfo.com/legal/ltc) (version of May 1, 2025) and [AWS Marketplace listing](https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/prodview-ckg6rmyo3zsmw). ZoomInfo's terms set no renewal rule, so that clause sits in your order form, and Cognism's order form can override its terms. This is not legal advice.

- **ZoomInfo's data promise.** Section 1.5 says that if more than 5% of your licensed contacts have left the listed company, ZoomInfo has 30 days to fix them. If it cannot, you may end the agreement and get a prorated refund.
- **Cognism's switching rule.** Section 10.4 lets you move to another provider with 60 days of written notice. Cognism charges no switching fee, but the fees due for the term stay payable.

Enrich.chat plans are billed monthly with unlimited seats, and you can cancel anytime. Credits renew with each monthly payment, and unused credits do not roll over. See the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) and the [terms](https://enrich.chat/terms/).

## Which has better data, ZoomInfo or Cognism?

We found no independent test of the two, and we ran none. ZoomInfo publishes large totals and Cognism publishes almost none. Each vendor's pages favor itself, so treat every number below as a claim, not a result.

| Vendor claim | ZoomInfo | Cognism |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Profiles | 500M+ professional profiles | "Hundreds of millions" of company and contact profiles; no total |
| Companies | 122M+ company records | No count on the pages we read |
| Direct dials | 135M+ | No count; ZoomInfo's page puts Cognism at 10M+ phone-verified mobiles |
| Email | 300M+ verified business emails; 96% email deliverability | "Rigorous checks" for deliverability; no figure |
| Phone accuracy | 87% mobile number accuracy | 85% data accuracy for phone-verified data |
| Refresh | Processes 1.5B+ data points daily | Director level and above refreshed every 30 days |

The ZoomInfo figures come from its [data page](https://www.zoominfo.com/data). The Cognism figures come from its [FAQ](https://www.cognism.com/faq), [data page](https://www.cognism.com/our-data) and [comparison page](https://www.cognism.com/cognism-vs-zoominfo). The 10M+ estimate comes from [ZoomInfo's comparison page](https://www.zoominfo.com/compare/cognism-vs-zoominfo), which also says some sources cite 400M contacts for Cognism.

### Where does each have more data?

ZoomInfo's own counts lean to North America. Its data page lists 157.8M+ contacts and 77.7M+ mobile numbers there, against 66M+ contacts and 18.5M+ mobile numbers in Europe. Its pages also disagree with each other: the data page counts 20.5M+ companies in Europe, and the comparison page says 22.2M. Figure 2 shows the mobile split.

**Figure 2: ZoomInfo's claimed mobile numbers by region.** Bar chart of mobile numbers by region, in millions, as ZoomInfo's data page claims them: North America 77.7, Europe 18.5, Asia 12.9, Australia and New Zealand 4.1, Africa 2.8 and South America 2.3. A dashed bar shows ZoomInfo's description of Cognism, 10 million or more phone-verified mobiles, mostly in Europe. Cognism publishes no mobile total.

*Mobile numbers by region as ZoomInfo's data page claimed them on October 15, 2026. Cognism publishes no mobile total. The dashed bar is ZoomInfo's description of Cognism's phone-verified mobiles on its comparison page. The two counts use different definitions, so do not subtract one from the other. Sources: [ZoomInfo data](https://www.zoominfo.com/data), [ZoomInfo comparison page](https://www.zoominfo.com/compare/cognism-vs-zoominfo).*

Customers and data are different facts. ZoomInfo's [2025 10-K](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1794515/000179451526000012/zi-20251231.htm) says revenue from customers and partners outside the United States was about 12% of its total: $145.8 million of $1,249.5 million. Cognism's [data page](https://www.cognism.com/our-data) claims director level and above coverage in Europe and the US, and Vendr's guide calls its EMEA coverage strong.

### What do the vendors and the reviews say about each other?

ZoomInfo's comparison page calls Cognism primarily Europe. It says Cognism users often rate mobile coverage as accurate but report email bounces. Cognism's comparison page quotes one customer who saw a 98% match rate and a 22% call connect rate with Cognism, against 72% and 14% with ZoomInfo. That is one customer's story on a vendor page, not a controlled test.

ZoomInfo's pricing page shows 4.5 out of 5 on G2 from 12,821 reviews, and Cognism's pricing page shows 4.5 on G2. ZoomInfo's comparison page says Cognism holds 4.6 from 2,415 reviews. G2 and other review sites blocked our reader, so we could not check the live scores. Run 100 contacts from your own countries through each trial or sample and count what connects. Our guide to [B2B data decay](https://enrich.chat/blog/b2b-data-decay/) explains why old records fail.

## How do their mobile numbers and do-not-call checks compare?

Cognism sells phone-verified mobiles, with manual checks on the contacts its customers want most and on-demand verification on Pro. ZoomInfo sells a larger claimed pool of direct dials. Cognism says it screens against more do-not-call registers, but its own pages give different counts.

- **Cognism's mobiles.** Its [FAQ](https://www.cognism.com/faq) says a research team manually verifies its customers' most desired contacts, and sells this as Diamond Verified Phone Data. It claims 3x more decision-makers connect, without saying against what. On [Pro](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), you can send priority prospects for on-demand verification.
- **ZoomInfo's mobiles.** The [Professional package](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) lists mobile numbers and business email. ZoomInfo's [comparison page](https://www.zoominfo.com/compare/cognism-vs-zoominfo) says it verifies with machine learning, deliverability tests and a human research team.
- **Do-not-call counts.** Cognism's [data page](https://www.cognism.com/our-data) says it checks 16 lists. Its [compliance page](https://www.cognism.com/compliance) says 15 major lists but names 12 countries, and its FAQ says the full list is available on request, so ask for it in writing. Cognism's comparison page says ZoomInfo checks lists in 8 countries. We found no count on the ZoomInfo pages we read.

Vendor screening does not move your own duties. In the UK, the ICO's [B2B marketing guidance](https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/direct-marketing-and-privacy-and-electronic-communications/business-to-business-marketing/) says you generally cannot make live marketing calls to numbers on the TPS or CTPS registers unless the business has consented, and that you should screen against both. In the US, read our guide to [TCPA and B2B cold calling](https://enrich.chat/blog/tcpa-b2b-cold-calling/). This is not legal advice. Our guides to [direct dials](https://enrich.chat/blog/direct-dials/) and the [best direct dial providers](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-direct-dial-providers/) explain phone data.

## How do intent data, integrations and outreach tools compare?

ZoomInfo has the deeper signal layer, with 4,500+ intent topics claimed, website visitor tracking and conversation intelligence. Cognism adds Bombora intent data on Pro only, up to 12 topics, plus hiring, funding and job-change signals. Both have browser extensions and CRM links.

### ZoomInfo's signals and workflow tools

- Copilot Advanced adds buyer intent signals, and Copilot Enterprise adds real-time and custom intent, per [ZoomInfo's pricing page](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing). Professional lists a Chrome extension and AI-driven dialing.
- The [data page](https://www.zoominfo.com/data) claims 4,500+ intent topics and 85M+ weekly signals. The [pricing guide](https://pipeline.zoominfo.com/sales/how-much-does-zoominfo-cost) lists Streaming Intent, Engage for sequences and dialing, and API and MCP access as add-ons.
- The [comparison page](https://www.zoominfo.com/compare/cognism-vs-zoominfo) adds website visitor identification and conversation intelligence.

### Cognism's signals and workflow tools

- Pro uses Bombora's Company Surge data. Admins pick up to 12 topics from a library of more than 11,000, per the [pricing page](https://www.cognism.com/pricing). Its plan table also lists hiring, funding and job-change signals.
- Cognism's [comparison page](https://www.cognism.com/cognism-vs-zoominfo) lists a browser extension for LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Salesforce, HubSpot and Outreach. It says links to Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Pipedrive, Salesloft, Bullhorn, Outreach and Zapier come with every package.

Enrich.chat has no intent data, Chrome extension, sequencer or dialer. If you sell on intent, keep your intent source and have an agent fetch contacts for the accounts that surge. See our guides to [intent data](https://enrich.chat/blog/intent-data/) and [sales intelligence tools](https://enrich.chat/blog/best-sales-intelligence-tools/).

## Can your AI agent use ZoomInfo or Cognism?

Yes, with an account at either vendor. Both run MCP servers that sign you in first, and both vendors' terms limit automated access.

- **Cognism MCP and API.** The [MCP docs](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/mcp-server) need an active Cognism account and OAuth sign-in. They list Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and VS Code, and ChatGPT needs developer mode turned on by a workspace admin. Cognism's pricing page lists MCP and API access in Standard.
- **Cognism costs.** Per [its credits docs](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/credits-and-search-tokens), a search spends 1 search token per record returned, and revealing a contact spends 1 credit. One search of 100 people with contact details can spend 100 credits, so the docs tell agents to ask you before revealing more than a handful.
- **Cognism limits.** The MCP docs bar training AI models on server data. Section 1.2(g) of the [general terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) bars bots, scripts or AI agents, except through interfaces Cognism provides.
- **ZoomInfo MCP.** The [ZoomInfo MCP server](https://www.zoominfo.com/solutions/zoominfo-mcp) works in Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Replit after you sign in with ZoomInfo credentials. Its ChatGPT and Claude connectors offer 100 free credits at signup.
- **ZoomInfo GTM AI.** [GTM AI](https://gtm.ai/pricing) gives API, MCP and CLI access, with 1,000 free data credits and 1,000 free AI credits. Mobile phone data needs Enterprise.
- **ZoomInfo's terms.** Section 2.3 of the [license terms](https://www.zoominfo.com/legal/ltc) bars you from putting ZoomInfo API credentials into third-party applications, or building the data into your own products, unless ZoomInfo permits it. Section 2.4 bars bots and crawlers, except tools included in the service or approved in writing.

Enrich.chat takes a shorter path. Add its MCP server at `enrich.chat/mcp`, with no sign-in and no key (the [install page](https://enrich.chat/install/) has one-click links). Or have your agent read [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) once, then call a plain HTTPS API. It works in ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Codex, n8n and your own code, with 10 free lookups a day and no signup. A LinkedIn URL works as a lookup key, and Enrich.chat never logs in to LinkedIn.

```
GET https://enrich.chat/v1/person
    ?linkedin_url=linkedin.com/in/sample-profile
    &fields=email,mobile
{"found": true,
 "work_email": {"status": "verified"},
 "mobile": {"line": "mobile"},
 "credits_used": 260,
 "free_lookups_remaining": 9}
```

For setup details, read our guide to [ZoomInfo MCP](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-mcp/) and see [Enrich.chat for AI agents](https://enrich.chat/agents/).

## When is ZoomInfo, Cognism or Enrich.chat the better choice?

Pick ZoomInfo for North America, intent data and a full sales suite. Pick Cognism for European cold-calling with phone-verified mobiles. Pick Enrich.chat when contact data goes into an AI agent or your own app.

**Figure 3: Which one fits, in three questions.** A decision tree with three questions. If your reps cold-call in Europe and want phone-verified mobiles, choose Cognism, sold by quote. If you sell mostly in North America or want intent data and a dialer, choose ZoomInfo, sold by quote on one to three year terms. If you need contact data inside an AI agent or app with no seats, choose Enrich.chat, from $29 a month. If you are still unsure, test each on 50 of your own contacts.

*A starting point by need, based on each vendor's published information on October 15, 2026. Sources: [Cognism pricing](https://www.cognism.com/pricing), [ZoomInfo pricing](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing), [Enrich.chat pricing](https://enrich.chat/pricing/).*

### When ZoomInfo is the better choice

- You sell on intent, website visitors and conversation data. ZoomInfo's [comparison page](https://www.zoominfo.com/compare/cognism-vs-zoominfo) and Cognism's both describe ZoomInfo as the broader suite.
- Your territory is mostly North America, where ZoomInfo's own counts and [Vendr's guide](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) point to more depth.
- You run a large team and can budget for a one to three year contract.

### When Cognism is the better choice

- Your reps cold-call people in Europe and want the mobile checks that [Cognism describes](https://www.cognism.com/faq), plus do-not-call screening built into the data.
- You want MCP and API access in the base package. Cognism lists it in Standard, with SSO, live chat support and an account manager.
- You are pricing a small team. Vendr's guide calls Cognism generally competitive or lower per seat, and SpendHound's averages are lower. Both are guides, not quotes.

### When Enrich.chat is the better choice

Enrich.chat fits when you need work emails and mobiles inside an agent, a sheet or your own app, not a sales workspace. Plans start at $29 a month for 100,000 credits, with unlimited seats and no annual contract. Every email comes back as verified, catch_all or unknown, each mobile comes back with a line type, and each matched response shows `credits_used`. Start with 10 free lookups a day and no signup, or try one profile in the free [LinkedIn email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/). For more, log in on the [account page](https://enrich.chat/account/), pick a plan and pay at checkout, and your API key appears there.

Enrich.chat has two honest gaps next to ZoomInfo and Cognism:

- **No intent data, Chrome extension, sequencer or dialer.** You bring your own outreach tool, and SDKs are planned, not available.
- **A line type, not a human check.** A mobile's line type describes the number. It is not a call or a hand check, so treat every contact as a strong lead, not a guarantee. If hand-checked European mobiles matter most, Cognism is built for that.

Cognism offers a free data sample, ZoomInfo offers a trial, and Enrich.chat gives free lookups, so you can compare before you commit. Paste this prompt into your agent to run your own list:

```text
## Frequently asked questions
### Is Cognism cheaper than ZoomInfo?
On the figures we found, usually yes. [SpendHound](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/cognism-pricing) lists average yearly spend of $24,387 for Cognism and [$49,097 for ZoomInfo](https://spendhound.com/marketplace/zoominfo-pricing) at companies with 50 to 1,000 employees, and $163,272 against $243,246 above 1,000. Neither vendor publishes a platform price, so compare written quotes for the same seats and credits, as checked October 15, 2026. Our [Cognism pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/cognism-pricing/) and [ZoomInfo pricing](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/) guides list what to ask.
### Is ZoomInfo or Cognism better for Europe?
Cognism is the Europe-first choice, per the sources we read. [Vendr's comparison](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) calls its EMEA coverage strong and ZoomInfo's North America depth stronger. ZoomInfo's [data page](https://www.zoominfo.com/data) counts 66M+ contacts in Europe against 157.8M+ in North America. Its [10-K](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1794515/000179451526000012/zi-20251231.htm) says about 12% of 2025 revenue came from outside the United States. Each vendor's own comparison page favors itself, so ask both for a sample from your target countries.
### Which has better phone numbers, ZoomInfo or Cognism?
No independent test settles it, and we ran none. ZoomInfo's [data page](https://www.zoominfo.com/data) claims 135M+ direct dials. Cognism publishes no totals. Its [FAQ](https://www.cognism.com/faq) says a research team manually verifies its customers' most desired contacts, and its [Pro package](https://www.cognism.com/pricing) adds on-demand mobile verification. Both are vendor claims. Run 100 contacts from your own countries through each trial or sample, and count what connects.
### Can you cancel ZoomInfo or Cognism early?
Usually not with either. ZoomInfo's [10-K](https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1794515/000179451526000012/zi-20251231.htm) says contracts typically run one to three years and are non-cancelable, and its [license terms](https://www.zoominfo.com/legal/ltc) say the agreement is not cancellable. Cognism's [general terms](https://www.cognism.com/customer-terms/gtc) call fees non-cancellable and non-refundable, and renew an order for the longer of its first term or one year unless you give 60 days of written notice. Your order form can differ. This is not legal advice.
### Do ZoomInfo and Cognism work in ChatGPT and Claude?
Yes, with an account. [ZoomInfo's MCP server](https://www.zoominfo.com/solutions/zoominfo-mcp) works in Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Replit after you sign in with ZoomInfo credentials. [Cognism's MCP server](https://docs.cognism.com/docs/mcp-server) uses OAuth, needs an active Cognism account, and in ChatGPT an admin must turn on developer mode. Enrich.chat has an MCP server at enrich.chat/mcp that needs no sign-in or key, with 10 free lookups a day.
### What is a cheaper alternative to ZoomInfo and Cognism?
For contact data alone, a credit-plan API usually costs less than either. Enrich.chat sells monthly plans, Growth $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale $90 for 500,000 credits, Pro $299 for 2,500,000 credits, with unlimited seats and no annual contract. A work email uses 10 credits, a mobile 250, and a lookup that finds nothing uses 0 credits. It has no intent data, Chrome extension or dialer. See our [ZoomInfo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/zoominfo/) and [Cognism alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/cognism/).
