# Enrich.chat pricing: monthly credit plans, misses are free

Start with 10 free lookups a day from any AI agent, no signup. Then pick a monthly plan from $29. Every plan includes every product, and credits are spent only on matches.

By Enrich.chat Editorial. Updated October 15, 2026.

**Short answer:** Enrich.chat is free for 10 lookups a day per IP, with no signup. After that you pick a monthly credit plan: Growth is $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale is $90 for 500,000 and Pro is $299 for 2,500,000. A work email costs 10 credits, a mobile 250 and a company tech stack 5, and a lookup that finds nothing costs nothing. Enterprise starts at $2,000 a month.

## Monthly plans

- **Growth**: $29 a month for 100,000 credits. 100K credits / month; All products included; Unlimited seats. Enough for any of: 10,000 email finder lookups, 10,000 reverse email lookups, 400 mobile numbers, 20,000 tech lookups.
- **Scale**: $90 a month for 500,000 credits. 500K credits / month; 3x the throughput of Growth; 38% cheaper per credit. Enough for any of: 50,000 email finder lookups, 50,000 reverse email lookups, 2,000 mobile numbers, 100,000 tech lookups.
- **Pro**: $299 a month for 2,500,000 credits. 2M credits / month; 10x the throughput of Growth; 59% cheaper per credit. Enough for any of: 250,000 email finder lookups, 250,000 reverse email lookups, 10,000 mobile numbers, 500,000 tech lookups.

## How credits work

- Profile-only lookup: 5 credits (name, title and company are free with any email or mobile match)
- Nothing found: 0 credits

## Other ways to pay

- **Enterprise**: $2,000 /month. Custom monthly volume; Bulk files and data licenses; Dedicated rate limits; Talk to sales@enrich.chat

## What counts as a match on Enrich.chat?

A match is a field the API returns. A work email that comes back uses 10 credits, a mobile number uses 250, and a company tech stack or a profile on its own uses 5. If a lookup returns `{"found": false}`, it uses nothing, as the [agents.md instructions](https://enrich.chat/agents.md) state.

You choose which fields to spend credits on. Add `fields=email, mobile, profile` to a call to the [person enrichment API](https://enrich.chat/api/person-enrichment/), or call `/v1/email` or `/v1/mobile` for one field. Ask only for what you need, since mobiles use the most credits. Name, title and company come free with an email or a mobile.

| Product | Credits | Credits are used when | Nothing is used when |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Work email | 10 | A work email is found | No email is found |
| Reverse email lookup | 10 | A person is found from a work email | No person is found |
| Mobile number | 250 | A mobile is found | No mobile is found |
| Company tech stack | 5 | A tech stack is returned | The lookup returns found: false |

Each matched response includes a `credits_used` field, so your agent can report what every call used. The agents.md example asks for `fields=email, mobile`. It returns a work email, a mobile, and the person's name, title and company, with `credits_used: 260`.

**Figure 1: What one Enrich.chat lookup uses.** A matched person lookup returns a work email that uses 10 credits and a mobile that uses 250 credits, shown in the response as credits_used 260. A lookup that returns found false uses 0 credits.

## What is free on Enrich.chat?

Three things cost nothing: the daily free tier, the website tools, and every lookup that finds no match.

- **Free API tier.** Every IP address gets 10 lookups a day with no signup and no API key. All endpoints work, including search and company lookups. Your agent only needs to read [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md), or to add the [MCP server](https://enrich.chat/install/), which has the same free tier.
- **Free website tools.** The [free tools](https://enrich.chat/tools/), such as the [LinkedIn email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/linkedin-email-finder/) and the [email finder](https://enrich.chat/tools/email-finder/), share 10 lookups per visitor a day, behind a bot check.
- **Misses.** A lookup with no match never uses a credit or a free lookup.

## How are catch-all and unknown emails shown?

Enrich.chat shows the status of every email and mobile, so you can decide what to use before you send. Work emails come back as `verified`, `catch_all` or `unknown`. Mobiles come back with a line type of `mobile` or `unknown`.

A catch-all domain accepts mail for any address, so no checker can prove that one inbox exists. The agent instructions tell your agent to flag `catch_all` emails as risky. A `mobile` line type says what kind of number it is, not that it works today or that it belongs to that person. Test a domain with the free [catch-all checker](https://enrich.chat/tools/catch-all-checker/), or a number with the [phone number validator](https://enrich.chat/tools/phone-number-validator/).

To see what any single call used, read its `credits_used` value.

## What happens when your agent runs out of free lookups?

After 10 lookups in a day, the API returns HTTP 402 with an `upgrade_url` and a `resets_at` time. Your agent stops, sends you the link in one short message, and waits.

1. The agent gets `402 free_limit_reached` and notes which rows it finished.
2. You log in at [enrich.chat/account](https://enrich.chat/account/), pick a plan and copy your API key from the account page. Keys start with `pp_`.
3. You paste the key into the chat. The agent sends it as an `Authorization: Bearer` header and resumes at the next row.

If you do nothing, the free tier resets at the time in `resets_at`. A key whose plan has no credits left gets a 402 `credits_exhausted` instead, until the plan renews.

**Figure 2: The 402 upgrade flow for agents.** When the free tier runs out, the Enrich.chat API answers the agent with HTTP 402 and an upgrade_url. The agent passes the link to you, you add credits and get an API key starting with pp_, and the agent resumes with the key as a Bearer token and each match uses plan credits.

## How much does B2B contact data cost in 2026?

Most B2B data tools sell seats, credits or both. A work email usually costs 1 credit and a phone number 5 to 8 credits. What a credit is worth depends on the plan. We checked each vendor's own pricing page on October 15, 2026.

| Tool | Published price (October 15, 2026) | Email and phone | How you are billed |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Apollo | [Basic: $65 a seat a month, or $49 billed annually](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) | 1 credit and 8 credits | Seats plus credits that expire each billing cycle |
| Lusha | [Pro: $69.90 a month for 600 credits; Premium: $399.90 for 3,400](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) | [1 credit and 5 credits](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted) | Plan credits; an API request with no results costs 1 credit |
| Clay | [Launch: from $185 a month, or $167 billed annually](https://www.clay.com/pricing) | [6 to 20 data credits per fully enriched record](https://university.clay.com/docs/actions-data-credits) | Data credits from $0.05 each, plus Actions; no charge when nothing is found |
| ZoomInfo | [Not published; quotes come from sales](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) | 1 credit per exported profile | Licenses plus credits |
| Enrich.chat | Credit plans from $29 a month, 100,000 credits on Growth | 10 credits and 250 credits | Monthly plan with unlimited seats; credits are used only on matches |

Seat plans suit people who work inside one sales app all day. Credit plans suit steady monthly volume. Enrich.chat sells only credit plans, from $29 a month, with unlimited seats and credits that are spent only on matches.

Credit rules differ too. [Apollo's pricing page](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) says unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle, including add-on credits. [Apollo's help center](https://knowledge.apollo.io/hc/en-us/articles/4738396786701-Request-Contact-Data-in-Apollo) says it charges credits for any phone number it reveals and does not refund credits for mobile numbers. [Lusha's](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) monthly Pro and Premium credits roll over up to 2x. [Clay's](https://university.clay.com/docs/actions-data-credits) data credits roll over up to 2x on monthly plans, but Actions do not.

## What would 1,000 leads cost on each tool?

For 1,000 leads with a work email and a phone number each, Enrich.chat uses 260,000 credits. That fits the Scale plan, which is $90 a month, and the list uses only part of it: pro-rated at that plan's rate it is $46.80. Every row with no match uses fewer credits. The same list uses about $234 of Apollo Basic credits and $699 of Lusha Pro credits at their monthly rates.

**Figure 3: Cost of email and phone for 1,000 leads.** Bar chart of the pro-rated cost of a work email and a phone number for 1,000 leads at published monthly rates: Enrich.chat $46.80 of credits on the Scale plan, Apollo Basic about $234, Clay Launch $300 to $1,000, Lusha Pro about $699, and ZoomInfo not published; Vendr's buyer data gives a median ZoomInfo contract of $33,500 a year.

*Pro-rated cost at each vendor's monthly self-serve rate, assuming every row returns an email and a phone. Seat minimums, plan fees and unused credits are not counted: the Enrich.chat plan for this list is $90 a month. Sources: [Apollo](https://www.apollo.io/pricing), [Lusha](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/), [Lusha docs](https://docs.lusha.com/user-guide/usage-analytics/how-credits-are-counted), [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing), [Clay docs](https://university.clay.com/docs/actions-data-credits), [Vendr](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo), checked October 15, 2026.*

How each bar is worked out:

- **Apollo:** 1 credit per email plus 8 per phone is 9,000 credits. [Apollo Basic](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) gives 2,500 credits a seat for $65 a month, or $0.026 a credit. Add-on credits are sold in the app, at a price the pricing page does not list.
- **Lusha:** 1 credit per email plus 5 per phone is 6,000 credits. [Lusha Pro](https://www.lusha.com/pricing/) gives 600 credits for $69.90 a month, about $0.117 a credit.
- **Clay:** [Clay's docs](https://university.clay.com/docs/actions-data-credits) say a fully enriched record typically costs 6 to 20 data credits. At [$0.05 a credit](https://www.clay.com/pricing), that is $300 to $1,000, plus one Action per enrichment.
- **ZoomInfo:** no public price, so this list cannot be priced. [Vendr's buyer data](https://www.vendr.com/marketplace/zoominfo) puts the median contract at $33,500 a year, across 1,577 purchases.

Annual plans cut the credit price but bill a year up front. The same list costs about $176 on Apollo Basic billed annually ($49 a seat a month, 30,000 credits a year) and about $525 on Lusha Pro billed annually ($52.45 a month, 7,200 credits a year). ## When does a higher plan make sense?

Pick the smallest plan that covers a normal month, and move up when you hit its credits. Growth is $29 for 100,000 credits, Scale is $90 for 500,000 and Pro is $299 for 2,500,000. Every plan includes every product, and each step up costs less per credit: a work email is $0.0029 on Growth and $0.0012 on Pro, and a mobile is $0.0725 on Growth and $0.0299 on Pro, if you use every credit. Scale and Pro also allow more requests per second.

## When does Enterprise make sense?

Enterprise makes sense when you run enrichment inside a product, resell data to your own customers or process large files every month. It starts at $2,000 a month, with custom volume, bulk files, data licenses and dedicated rate limits and support. Email sales@enrich.chat with your volume and the fields you need.

## When is a seat plan the better choice?

A seat plan is better when your team wants a full sales app, not an API. [Apollo's plans](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) bundle sequences, a dialer and browser extensions with the data. [Clay](https://www.clay.com/pricing) gives you a visual table with waterfalls across many providers. [ZoomInfo's packages](https://www.zoominfo.com/pricing) add buyer intent, org charts and technographics for large sales teams.

Enrich.chat has two real gaps to weigh:

- **No visual table builder, sequencer or dialer.** You bring your own outreach tool, CRM or spreadsheet.
- **No Chrome extension.** Your agent uses the [MCP server](https://enrich.chat/install/) at enrich.chat/mcp or calls the plain HTTPS API after reading agents.md. SDKs are planned.

If you want contact data inside an [AI agent](https://enrich.chat/agents/) or app, credits that are spent only on matches are simpler and cheaper. Before you choose, read our [Apollo pricing breakdown](https://enrich.chat/blog/apollo-pricing/), the [Clay pricing guide](https://enrich.chat/blog/clay-pricing/), [what ZoomInfo buyers pay](https://enrich.chat/blog/zoominfo-pricing/), or the list of [Apollo alternatives](https://enrich.chat/alternatives/apollo/).

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Enrich.chat charge when it finds nothing?

No. If a lookup finds no match, the API returns {"found": false} and uses no credits and no free lookup. Credits are spent per match: 10 per work email, 250 per mobile and 5 per company tech stack. Each matched response includes a credits_used field, so your agent can report what every call used and the total for a list, as described in [agents.md](https://enrich.chat/agents.md).

### How do I get an Enrich.chat API key?

Log in at [enrich.chat/account](https://enrich.chat/account/) with your email (we send a 6-digit code, no password), pick a plan and pay through checkout. Your API key appears on the account page and starts with pp_. Give the key to your agent, which sends it as an Authorization: Bearer header or as a key= parameter on each request. Usage is then counted against your plan's credits, which renew with each monthly payment. Unused credits do not roll over.

### How do Enrich.chat credits work?

A credit is the unit your monthly plan is measured in. A work email found costs 10 credits, a reverse email lookup 10, a mobile number 250, a company tech stack 5 and a profile on its own 5. A lookup that finds nothing costs 0 credits. Growth gives you 100,000 credits a month for $29, Scale 500,000 for $90 and Pro 2,500,000 for $299. On Growth that is $0.0029 per work email and $0.0725 per mobile if you use every credit; on Pro it falls to $0.0012 and $0.0299. Pick the smallest plan that covers a normal month: Growth fits about 10,000 emails or 400 mobiles, Scale about 50,000 or 2,000, Pro about 250,000 or 10,000. The calculator above turns your expected volume into a plan.

### Do I need a monthly plan?

Not to start. Every IP address gets 10 free API lookups a day with no signup, no card and no API key, and every endpoint works. The [free website tools](https://enrich.chat/tools/) share 10 lookups per visitor. When the daily limit runs out, the API returns HTTP 402 with a link to pick a plan. To go past the free tier you need a plan, starting at $29 a month for 100,000 credits.

### Does Enrich.chat have seats or annual contracts?

No. Every monthly plan includes unlimited seats and is billed month to month, so a new teammate or a second agent adds no fixed cost, and you can cancel anytime. Platforms that need custom volume, bulk files or data licenses can ask about Enterprise, which starts at $2,000 a month. Email sales@enrich.chat with your expected volume and the fields you need.

### Is Enrich.chat cheaper than Apollo?

At published rates, per match, yes. [Apollo's Basic plan](https://www.apollo.io/pricing) costs $65 a seat a month for 2,500 credits, so a phone number at 8 credits is about $0.21 and an email at 1 credit about $0.026. On Enrich.chat's Growth plan a mobile is $0.0725 and a work email $0.0029 if you use every credit, with unlimited seats. Apollo does include sequences, a dialer and a Chrome extension, which Enrich.chat does not.
