This is the Markdown version of https://enrich.chat/terms/ # Terms of Service The rules for using Enrich.chat: the website, the free tools, the API and the MCP server. Last updated October 15, 2026 ## 1. Agreement These terms are an agreement between you and Enrich.chat ("we", "us"). By using the Enrich.chat website, free tools, API or MCP server (together, the "Service"), or by creating an account or an API key, you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ## 2. The Service Enrich.chat lets people and AI agents look up business contact and company information, such as work emails, mobile numbers, professional profiles, company details and the technology a company uses. You can use it from the website, through a REST API and through an MCP server. The [API reference](https://enrich.chat/docs/) describes every endpoint and limit. We may add, change or remove features. We work to keep the Service available but do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors. ## 3. Free use Every IP address gets a limited number of free lookups each day, with no account. The current limit is on the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/) and in every API response. A lookup that finds nothing does not count. We may change the free limits, and we may block addresses or keys that abuse the Service. ## 4. Accounts and API keys - **Logging in.** You log in with your email address and a one-time code. Use an email address you control and keep it accurate. - **Keys are secret.** API keys are issued with a paid plan. Treat a key like a password: do not publish it or put it in code that other people can read. We show a key once, when you create it, and cannot show it again. You can have up to five active keys, and you can revoke a key at any time on your account page. - **You are responsible for your keys.** You are responsible for everything done with them, including by AI agents or software you connect them to, and for the credits those requests use. - **One account per person or company.** Do not share a key between separate people or companies to get around limits or pricing. ## 5. Plans, credits and payment - **Plans.** Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that include a set number of credits each month. Prices and what each lookup costs in credits are on the [pricing page](https://enrich.chat/pricing/). A lookup that finds nothing uses no credits. - **Credits renew monthly.** Credits renew with each monthly payment. Unused credits do not roll over to the next month. When a plan has no credits left, lookups with its keys stop until the plan renews or you move to a bigger plan. - **Payments.** Payments are handled by our payment processor, Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record. Their terms apply to the payment itself. We never see your full card number. Taxes are added where required and shown at checkout. - **Renewal and cancelling.** A plan renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time with the Manage billing button on your account page. After you cancel, your plan and keys keep working until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further payments are taken. - **Failed payments.** If a payment fails, your plan may be paused until it is resolved. - **Price changes.** We may change prices or plans. A change applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does. - **Enterprise.** Enterprise plans are agreed by email and may come with their own terms. - **Billing questions.** For a question about a charge, email [hello@enrich.chat](mailto:hello@enrich.chat). ## 6. Acceptable use You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You must not: - break any law that applies to you or to the people you contact, including laws on marketing emails, calls and texts (such as CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and Do Not Call rules) and on data protection (such as the GDPR and the CCPA); - use the Service to harass, stalk, threaten, defraud or deceive anyone, or to send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; - use results to decide whether someone gets credit, insurance, employment, housing or any other benefit they are entitled to be considered for. The Service is not a consumer reporting agency, and its results are not consumer reports; - copy, resell, republish or hand over results in bulk, or use the Service to build a competing product or data service; - collect pages of the website automatically, or send requests by any route other than the documented API, MCP server and tools; - get around rate limits, free-tier limits, blocks or credit accounting, for example by rotating addresses or sharing keys; - attack, overload or probe the Service, or try to reach data or systems you are not authorised to use. ## 7. Results Results can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. We do not guarantee that an email address or phone number is correct, or that a person will reply. Check results before you rely on them. You are responsible for how you use them. ## 8. Removal requests Anyone can ask us to remove their information at [enrich.chat/opt-out](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/), and we act on those requests. Removed records can stop appearing in results at any time. Do not contact someone, or keep using their information, after they have asked you not to. ## 9. Ownership and licence We own the Service, including the website, the API, the tools, the branding and the way results are organised. While you follow these terms, you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and its results for your own internal business purposes. Nothing else is licensed to you. You keep ownership of what you send us, and you allow us to process it in order to run the Service for you. ## 10. Privacy How we handle personal data, including account details and request logs, is described in [How we handle personal data](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/#privacy) and [Accounts, API keys and request logs](https://enrich.chat/opt-out/#accounts). ## 11. Suspension and ending You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account and delete what we hold about it, email [privacy@enrich.chat](mailto:privacy@enrich.chat?subject=Delete%20my%20account) from the address you signed up with. We may suspend or end your access, with notice where we reasonably can, if you break these terms, if your use puts the Service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it. Parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as acceptable use, disclaimers and limits on liability, continue after your access ends. ## 12. Disclaimers The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. ## 13. Limits on liability To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have not paid us anything. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. You are responsible for claims, losses and costs that arise from your use of the Service in breach of these terms or of the law, including the messages you send and how you use results. ## 14. Changes to these terms We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell account holders by email or on the account page before it takes effect.
